"Okay..." Sienna squeezed his hand lightly before adding with quiet concern, "But don’t stay up too late."

A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "I won’t make my sexy wife wait for me too long..."

She stifled a laugh at his flirtatious words.

Before letting go of her hand, Zachary leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

The simple gesture made her heart feel warmer and lighter. She smiled softly, then turned and walked into the bathroom.

The moment the bathroom door closed behind her, the warmth disappeared from Zachary’s expression.

His eyes grew sharp.

The calm husband who had just comforted his wife was gone, replaced by the decisive businessman who never tolerated anyone threatening the people he loved.

He walked back to the desk, picked up his phone, and headed straight for his home office.

As soon as he stepped inside, he closed the door behind him and immediately dialed Hunter’s number.

The phone barely rang before he lifted it to his ear, his expression colder than ever.

Whoever had started this rumor had just made the biggest mistake of their life.

Unexpectedly, Hunter didn’t answer the call right away.

The delay made Zachary’s expression grow even darker.

He walked toward the floor-to-ceiling glass window and stopped there, his phone still pressed to his ear as he patiently waited. The call continued to ring, but there was still no answer.

Just as he was about to pull the phone away to check whether the call had disconnected, the line finally connected.

"Hello, sir." Hunter’s voice came through, sounding rushed.

Zachary glanced at the time displayed on his phone before speaking. "It’s still too early for you to be asleep, isn’t it?"

A quiet chuckle came from the other end. "Sorry for making you wait, sir. I was in the middle of something."

After a brief pause, Hunter continued in his usual professional tone. "What can I help you with?"

Without wasting another second, Zachary explained everything Sienna had just shown him. He told Hunter about the articles, the online discussions, and the growing attempts to uncover Sienna’s identity.

Hunter remained silent while listening.

Although he didn’t interrupt, Zachary could clearly hear the rapid clicking of a keyboard through the phone. Hunter had obviously started searching for the articles while listening to his instructions.

Several minutes passed.

The sound of typing gradually slowed before finally stopping altogether.

Then Hunter spoke again.

"I’ve found them, sir." His voice was calm, but noticeably more serious than before. "What would you like me to do?"

"There are two things." Zachary’s tone became firm.

"First, remove every article, repost, forum discussion, and online thread related to this case. I don’t want people continuing to spread or discuss these rumors."

He paused briefly before giving the second order.

"Second, find out who published the original article and identify the source that provided the information."

The room fell silent for a moment.

Then Hunter answered without hesitation. "Understood, sir. I’ll begin immediately."

Hearing the confidence in Hunter’s voice, Zachary finally felt some of the tension leave his shoulders.

He exhaled slowly. Then he said, "I want an update by tomorrow morning."

"You’ll have one," Hunter replied. "Don’t worry."

"Good."

Zachary ended the call.

Even so, he didn’t leave his office immediately.

Standing quietly by the window, he looked out into the dark garden, replaying everything Sienna had told him. The articles themselves didn’t concern him nearly as much as the people trying to uncover her identity.

Rumors came and went. The internet would always find another topic to chase.

But if someone had deliberately leaked the information, then this wasn’t simply gossip. Someone had planned it. And that meant whoever was behind it might not stop with just one article.

His eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

After a brief moment, he unlocked his phone again and searched for another contact.

This time, he called the head of his security team.

As soon as the call connected, Zachary calmly gave several instructions.

He ordered them to quietly monitor any unusual activity around Sienna, strengthen security around both their home and the hotel, and immediately report anything suspicious related to the articles or to anyone attempting to investigate her identity.

Only after receiving confirmation that everything would be handled did he end the second call.

The tightness in his chest finally eased.

There was still plenty to investigate, but at least the necessary people were already moving.

He slipped his phone into his pocket and remained standing in front of the window for another couple of minutes, allowing his thoughts to settle.

When he was certain he had done everything he could for the night, Zachary turned away from the glass window. He quietly walked back toward the bedroom, where Sienna was waiting.

"My dear wife... I’m coming," Zachary whispered to himself with a grin as he quietly walked back toward the bedroom.

His mood had improved considerably after making the necessary phone calls. The problem wasn’t over yet, but at least he had done everything he could for the night.

Now, there was only one thing occupying his mind. His hot-sexy wife.

A smile slowly spread across his face.

For days, he had patiently kept his distance because he didn’t want Sienna’s injured hand to reopen. Every time they grew close, he reminded himself to be patient. Now that her hand had fully healed, he couldn’t help feeling a little excited.

’Hmm... maybe tonight is finally the night,’ he thought, unable to stop smiling.

He immediately cleared his throat and shook his head at himself.

’Calm down, Zach. You’re a grown man, not a teenager about to go on his first date.’

Even so, another thought popped into his head.

’She told me not to stay up late... and she promised she wouldn’t make me wait.’

That memory made his grin even wider.

’My wife keeps her promises... right?’

Trying not to make any noise, he slowly turned the doorknob and pushed the bedroom door open.

His hopeful expression froze almost instantly.
