"Glad to hear that." Zachary smiled, apparently satisfied with her promise.

When they reached the car, Zachary opened the passenger door for her and waited until she got inside.

After making sure she was sitting comfortably, he gently closed the door before walking around to the driver’s side.

Once they were both inside, Zachary started the engine, and the vehicle finally left The Secret Garden.

The familiar quiet of the drive gave Sienna a chance to relax. Still, her curiosity about the conversation between the two men slightly bothered her. She turned toward Zachary after they had driven for a while and studied his profile for a moment before speaking.

"Honey," Sienna began carefully, "what were you talking about with Riley that made you seem so upset?"

Zachary glanced at her briefly before returning his attention to the road. His expression changed slightly, and the coldness that Sienna had seen earlier returned to his eyes. The sight immediately made her heart tighten.

"He provoked me..."

"Provoked you?" Sienna felt even more puzzled.

"Mm, he asked me to go home alone and that he would drive you home."

Sienna was utterly stunned. She hadn’t expected Riley to dare say that to Zachary.

She stared at him for a moment, trying to process his words, while several thoughts immediately rushed through her mind.

’Damn Riley!’ Sienna couldn’t stop herself from cursing him, even if it was only in her mind. ’How could you provoke Zach like that?’

After venting her frustration in her mind, Sienna glanced at her husband, still driving with a serious expression.

"Are you annoyed by that?" she asked casually, hoping to make the atmosphere in the car a little lighter.

Instead of answering her question, Zachary glanced at her briefly and asked, "Did you know that Riley likes you?"

The question made Sienna immediately straighten.

’What the hell, Riley! You told Zach about it!?’

Her annoyance with Riley returned in an instant. She lowered her gaze to her hands, which were now clenched tightly in her lap as several questions filled her mind.

’Why the hell did Riley deliberately provoke Zach? Didn’t he promise me he would stop harboring feelings for me? Why would he do that now? What exactly did he want by telling Zach that!?’

"So, you know..."

Zachary’s low voice pulled Sienna out of her thoughts, and she looked back at him.

"Yes, I know," Sienna answered without hesitation. She had no reason to hide anything from her husband, especially when Riley’s feelings had already become something Zachary knew about.

After letting out a heavy sigh, she continued, "Riley openly expressed his feelings for me long before I met you. But I never accepted him, not even once, and I never gave him any reason to think that I liked him back."

The car became quiet again.

Sienna paused, waiting for Zachary to respond, but he didn’t say a word. His attention stayed on the road, his expression hard for her to read. She could tell he was listening, though, so she continued to explain everything honestly.

"After I met you... He tried again, but my feelings toward him were still the same. And when he found out that we were in a relationship, he was actually the first person who opposed our relationship—"

"He opposed it?" Zachary interrupted, his voice becoming noticeably colder.

"Yes. Even after I told him that we were already married, he still tried to create rifts between us."

"That stupid, spoiled, asshole brat! How dare he!" Zachary snapped. His hands tightened slightly around the steering wheel, and for a moment, his usual calm expression disappeared completely.

Sienna was taken aback. She had never heard Zachary curse someone like that before, and the anger in his expression surprised her even more.

As if he suddenly realized how shocked Sienna was, Zachary glanced at her with a guilty look.

"I’m sorry, my love. I’m not mad at you, but Riley..." he said hurriedly, then turned his attention back to the road.

"It’s okay." Sienna smiled softly. She reached over and rested her hand on his arm, wanting to reassure him rather than make him feel guilty. "You can be mad. I was mad at him too at the time. But I can’t completely stop seeing him because he’s your nephew and he’s also my best friend."

Zachary reached for her hand and gently placed it on his lap. He gave it a soft pat, his touch immediately becoming more affectionate now that he had calmed down.

Sienna looked at their hands for a moment, feeling some of the tension leave her. Despite his anger, she knew Zachary wasn’t angry with her. He was angry because someone had made her uncomfortable. That realization warmed her heart more than she wanted to admit.

For a while, neither of them said anything.

The quiet sound of the car filled the space between them as they both seemed lost in their own thoughts. Sienna wondered whether she should say more about Riley. At the same time, Zachary seemed to be considering what he wanted to do about the situation.

Not long after, Zachary finally broke the silence.

"He’s so shameless, trying to force you to like him. Should I do something to him?"

Sienna turned to look at him again, her eyebrows lifting. "Do something? Like what?"

Zachary chuckled, and some of the tension finally disappeared from his expression.

"...Force him to leave the country. Or force him to marry someone."

Sienna was stunned by his answer. She tilted her head slightly, studying his face as she tried to figure out whether her husband was joking. The idea sounded so dramatic that she couldn’t believe he had actually suggested it.

"Can you do that?" she asked curiously.

"Which one?"

"Send him out of the country."

"Of course. You just tell me, and I’ll do it," Zachary said confidently, as though sending Riley to another country were no more difficult than making a phone call.

Sienna stared at him, full of curiosity. "Zach, you weren’t joking?"
