Chapter 311: Not My Daddy

Maya’s eyes immediately became wet when she heard Sienna’s voice. She didn’t hesitate before stepping forward and pulling her niece into a warm embrace.

Sienna wrapped her arms around Maya just as tightly, finally allowing herself to feel the emotions she had been holding back.

"My dear Sienna, I’ve missed you so much," Maya said, gently and quickly hugging her for a few seconds as tears slipped from her eyes. "You’ve grown even more beautiful since the last time I saw you."

"I missed you too, Aunty," Sienna replied softly. "I really wanted to come and see you and Uncle sooner, but I had so many things to deal with."

Jimmy stood closely behind his wife with a warm smile, his eyes showing how grateful and happy he was to see his niece again. "We all missed you too, Sienna. We’ve been waiting for you to visit us."

Sienna pulled back slightly and looked at him with a smile. "I’m sorry it took me so long to come here, Uncle."

"There’s nothing to be sorry for," Jimmy said. "You’re here now, and that’s what matters."

Maya nodded in agreement, wiping away her tears as she continued looking at Sienna. She wanted to say more, but before she could, something behind her niece caught her attention.

A little boy was standing quietly behind Sienna, looking at the adults with curious eyes.

Maya blinked and stared at him for a moment. She had been so focused on Sienna that she hadn’t noticed the child standing nearby. She slowly released her embrace and wiped away the tears of longing from her cheeks before looking more closely at the boy.

"Sienna, who is this handsome boy?" Maya asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

Jimmy also looked toward the child. His expression changed as he studied Skylar, clearly just as surprised as his wife.

Sienna immediately turned toward her son. She reached out and took his hand, gently bringing him forward. Skylar looked up at her, and she gave him an encouraging smile before turning back toward Maya and Jimmy.

"Aunty, Uncle..." Sienna took a small breath, her heart filling with emotion as she finally introduced the little boy who meant so much to her. "This is Skylar. He’s my son."

Maya stared at Skylar in surprise, while Jimmy remained quiet beside her, trying to take in Sienna’s words. Neither of them had expected their niece to arrive with a child, and for a moment, they could only look between Sienna and the handsome little boy holding her hand.

Sienna gently squeezed Skylar’s hand, silently reassuring him as she waited for her aunt and uncle to react. She knew there would be many questions, but she was ready to answer them. After everything she had been through, she could finally stand before the family she loved and introduce them to her son.

It took Maya a few seconds to find her voice. She stared at Skylar, then looked back at Sienna as if she needed to hear it again to believe what she had just been told.

"Oh my God, Sienna... Is that true?" Her voice sounded shaky, and her eyes began to fill with tears again. The surprise was obvious on her face, but beneath it was a mixture of concern and emotion. She had missed Sienna terribly, and now she had suddenly learned that her niece had a son she had never known about.

Jimmy, who had also regained his composure, cleared his throat and tried to bring some calm to the situation. "Alright, let’s talk inside first." He stepped aside and motioned for them to come in. "Come on, everyone. We can talk properly in the living room."

Sienna smiled softly when she saw that her aunt and uncle were still shocked by the news. She understood their reaction because she had just given them something they could never have expected. Holding Skylar’s little hand, she followed them inside.

As they walked into the apartment, Sienna glanced down at her son. Skylar looked curious and confused at the same time. He had clearly noticed the surprised expressions on Maya and Jimmy’s faces. Still, he probably didn’t understand why everyone was reacting that way. Sienna gently squeezed his hand, silently reassuring him that everything was fine.

Arthur quietly followed them inside after slowly closing the door behind him. He stayed calm and silent as usual, letting the family reunite without interrupting.

They eventually sat together in the living room. Sienna sat beside Skylar, while Jimmy and Maya sat opposite them.

The atmosphere was still filled with surprise, especially since Maya and Jimmy were trying to process that Sienna had a son and that they had never known about it before.

Jimmy then noticed that Arthur was still standing nearby, holding shopping bags in his hand. Realizing that he had completely forgotten about him, Jimmy immediately felt a little embarrassed.

"Hello, Mr. Arthur. I’m sorry I didn’t have time to greet you earlier. Please have a seat in this chair," Jimmy said, gesturing toward the seat a little timidly. He felt guilty because he had been so happy to see Sienna and so shocked to learn that his niece had a son that he had completely forgotten to welcome their guest properly.

However, Arthur didn’t move. He simply gave Jimmy a faint nod and a small, polite smile, which only confused Jimmy and Maya more.

The couple exchanged a glance, then looked at Sienna. Neither of them understood why Arthur was standing there instead of sitting with them.

Maya leaned slightly toward Sienna and lowered her voice, "Sienna, ask your husband to sit with us..."

Sienna immediately coughed, almost choking on her breath at her aunt’s assumption.

"Cough! Cough! Aunty—"

"Grandaunt!"

Skylar suddenly interrupted. His little boy’s voice was loud and determined, so Sienna had to stop mid-sentence. As she looked at him, she could see Skylar looked eager and excited to correct the grandaunt before she finished saying.

Maya looked at him in confusion. "What is it, sweetheart?"

Skylar pointed toward Arthur with a completely innocent expression. "Arthur is not my daddy." ℴℴ𝘮

Maya and Jimmy blinked at the same time. They looked at Arthur, then at Skylar, and finally back at Sienna.

"He isn’t?" they asked together, their voices filled with confusion.
