"Haha, no." Yueling responded promptly. Gossip about artists is one of the most significant issues. Many artists are tarnished by rumors. However, Yueling has rarely been the subject of rumors, possibly because she seldom interacts with male artists.

"Is that so? Miss Yueling, you’re so beautiful. Don’t you want to find a boyfriend, have a romance?"

"I’m still young now and wish to focus on my career. I hope Mr. Gu understands."

"Of course, of course. I’m just doing interviews as part of the company’s work. I personally have no malice towards Miss Yueling and am absolutely not targeting her."

"I understand. Does Mr. Gu have any other questions?" Yueling retorted.

"I’ve heard several entertainment companies want to sign you, but you’ve rejected them all. May I ask why?" Ghost continued his inquiry.

"I’ve explained this before; the reason I didn’t join an entertainment company is just to have more free time. After signing, I must adhere to company regulations, which I personally find cumbersome. Hence, I decided to set up my studio, allowing more autonomy for personal interests and activities."

"I see; Miss Yueling mentioned personal activities. May I ask what they include?"

"Such as swimming, yoga, and cooking."

"I didn’t expect Miss Yueling to have so many interests. Alright, next question."

Two hours later.

"Miss Yueling, it’s getting late. I think we should end the interview today." Ghost slowly stood up; in the past two hours, he had been probing and frequently directed the topic towards her identity. But Yueling was rather astute, always skirting heavy topics lightly. Yet, Ghost still gleaned a lot of information from her responses — enough to derive some useful discoveries.

"Well then, I won’t see you out, Mr. Gu. We shall meet again someday."

"Alright, goodbye."

"I never thought traveling could be this exhausting," Ye Shikai sighed, comfortably lying on the hotel bed. Chen Yuxin still appeared full of energy, perhaps because she had been oppressed for so long. Her sudden relaxation left her somewhat unable to rein herself in.

"Kai, we’ve visited so many places these days. Is there anywhere you particularly liked?"

"If I must say, I’ve grown most fond of the hotel bed now. So tiring," Ye Shikai complained.

"Kai, hubby, we’ve come all this way hardly, could we stay a bit longer?" Chen Yuxin obviously hadn’t had enough fun, and Ye Shikai had no other choice. "Kai, what is it exactly? Why wouldn’t you let me see?"

"Ahem, it’s just a message from Ghost. I’m helping him with a job change; he just wanted to inform me." Ye Shikai came up with an excuse, as Chen Yuxin was quite skeptical. Further concealment would only arouse more suspicion.

"Just that simple?"

"Sure, it’s that simple," Ye Shikai continued explaining: "Nowadays, Ghost is just an ordinary person from East Sea. I’m helping him find a job; you shouldn’t have any objections, right?" With Ye Shikai’s words reaching this point, Chen Yuxin had to let it go. If she kept pressing, she’d seem petty.

"Alright then, it’s up to you."

"Boss, I’ve begun investigating Yueling, and we chatted for two hours today." Ye Shikai walked onto the hotel’s rooftop and dialed Ghost’s number.

"Any results?"

"No, she kept dodging my questions. There was nothing more I could do. But as you predicted, her identity is nearly blank."

"How could a normal person have no traceable identity? She’s definitely no ordinary person," Ye Shikai said blandly. Yueling is no common figure; she’s hiding something while plotting something else. Ye Shikai couldn’t decipher it and could only remain adaptive.

"Ghost, keep an eye on anything unusual in East Sea and report promptly."

"Certainly."
