"The Dragon Blood Fruit is a Tier 4 rare Spirit Fruit. Bloodline Fighters at or below the Origin Ascendant Realm can directly consume and refine it to stimulate the vital essence within their bodies, giving them a chance to awaken an additional Bloodline."

Lucian’s eyes sharpened as he spoke, his voice carrying a profound gravity.

"The first fruit is the most effective and offers the highest chance of success. The effects gradually diminish with each subsequent fruit, but the first three still provide some benefits. After that, consuming more will have no effect whatsoever."

He hesitated briefly before deciding to reveal the full details.

He hadn’t expected a commoner like Ryan to be so cautious and meticulous despite his young age.

He had already offered him numerous temptations, yet Ryan remained unmoved.

It seemed that unless he presented something truly valuable, this young man wouldn’t even consider accepting his proposal.

"What?!"

Ryan’s pupils contracted, and his expression tightened as he struggled to suppress his reaction.

Yet a storm was already raging within his heart.

Dragon Blood Fruit?!

There was actually a miraculous Spirit Fruit that could give a Bloodline Fighter the chance to awaken an additional Bloodline!

Ryan was utterly astonished.

Multi-Bloodline Fighters were already exceedingly rare, with an incredibly low probability of appearing naturally. Moreover, their overall strength far surpassed that of ordinary single-Bloodline Fighters, and their combat techniques were far more varied and unpredictable.

Given the choice, who wouldn’t want to possess multiple Bloodlines?

If this Tier 4 rare Spirit Fruit truly possessed such heaven-defying properties, even offering only a chance to awaken an additional Bloodline, wouldn’t it drive every Bloodline Fighter in the world into a frenzy?

Ryan was already deeply tempted, but he knew better than to reveal the extent of his interest.

The less Lucian knew about his true intentions and bargaining position, the greater his advantage in the negotiations.

His current strength was still limited. If he wanted to secure the greatest possible benefits, he had to seize the initiative rather than allow the other party to dictate the terms.

"Heh heh. I doubt anyone could easily refuse the temptation of a Dragon Blood Fruit."

Noticing Ryan’s surprise, Lucian smiled faintly.

With a sweep of his hand, he retrieved three treasures from his spatial ring and sent them floating toward Ryan.

A gentle breeze carried the glittering objects through the air until they stopped directly in front of him.

The three treasures hovered steadily, bobbing slightly as they radiated dazzling brilliance.

Lucian gestured toward them and explained with a hint of emotion, "These are three Spirit Rank treasures."

"The first is a Spirit Rank Middle Grade defensive secret treasure, the Glazed Armor. It is entirely emerald green and possesses formidable defensive capabilities. Not only can it withstand powerful attacks, but it can also disperse a considerable portion of the force behind them."

"The second is a Spirit Rank Middle Grade combat weapon, the Cold Moon Blade. Once infused with Origin Energy, its blade radiates a foot-long glow, making it extraordinarily sharp. It can split even a single strand of hair lengthwise into two equal halves with ease, it’s precision is unmatched, and it also possesses the ability to conceal its presence."

"The third is a Spirit Rank Middle Grade Combat Skill manual, the Seven Kill Fist. It contains five powerful techniques for applying force, with each successive step delivering a killing blow. Once you have slain seven enemies and achieved Seven Kills, you will enter a state of profound clarity. When you execute the technique again in this state, your Origin Energy consumption will be greatly reduced. Even when facing a vast army, you need not fear being overwhelmed. The more you fight, the stronger you become."

After explaining the three treasures, Lucian looked directly at Ryan.

"As long as you agree to do your utmost to find Dragon Blood Fruits for me, you may choose any one of these three treasures as an advance payment. Your subsequent rewards will depend on how many fruits you obtain."

Ryan’s eyes narrowed slightly as he examined the three treasures floating before him.

Their brilliance was dazzling, and their value was undeniable.

To claim that he wasn’t tempted would be an outright lie.

In particular, when his gaze fell upon the Seven Kill Fist manual, a flicker of barely concealed excitement appeared in his eyes.

A Combat Skill that could significantly reduce Origin Energy consumption after entering a state of profound clarity was practically tailor-made for him.

His greatest weakness had always been his limited supply of Origin Energy. Although his combat strength was impressive, sustaining powerful techniques over an extended battle placed considerable strain on his reserves.

If he could master the Seven Kill Fist, this weakness might be greatly alleviated.

It was an extremely attractive prospect.

Nevertheless, Ryan didn’t immediately agree.

Despite the temptation, there were still several things he couldn’t understand.

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, he looked at Lucian with a puzzled expression.

"City Lord Crowe, if the Dragon Blood Fruit is as precious as you claim, why don’t you simply obtain it yourself? With your strength, acquiring such a treasure should be relatively easy. Why go to the trouble of recruiting someone like me, a commoner Bloodline Fighter?"

This was the question that had bothered him from the beginning.

Frankly speaking, Ryan’s current strength placed him among the lower ranks of Ashfall City. He hadn’t even reached the middle tier of its powerful fighters.

If the objective was simply to collect Spirit Fruits, wouldn’t it be far more efficient for the City Lord himself to take action?

With Lucian’s strength and influence, obtaining the fruits personally should have been much easier.

Why go through all this trouble to recruit him?

"Alas, if I could enter the Dragon Blood Secret Realm myself, I wouldn’t need to seek you out."

Lucian sighed softly, his gaze growing distant.

"The Dragon Blood Secret Realm appears only once every ten years. According to legend, it was formed from the Origin Mansion of an ancient powerhouse. Before his death, that powerhouse exhausted his strength to establish a formidable restriction over the entire realm. Only Bloodline Fighters at or below the Origin Spirit Realm are permitted to enter and search for its treasures."

Lucian himself found the restriction deeply frustrating.

The restriction surrounding the Dragon Blood Secret Realm was simply too powerful.

He had entered the realm once when he was young, but after his strength increased beyond the permitted threshold, he could no longer enter.

Naturally, he had always wanted to return and obtain more Dragon Blood Fruits.

After all, it was precisely through consuming a Dragon Blood Fruit that he had awakened his second Bloodline, a Transformation-Type Bloodline with a wind attribute.

That experience had played a crucial role in shaping his present strength.

Later, when the Dragon Blood Secret Realm reappeared, Lucian had even gathered several powerful individuals and attempted to break through the restriction by force.

Unfortunately, their attempt ended in failure.

Worse still, the restriction had retaliated, leaving him with minor injuries.

Since then, no one had dared to challenge the Secret Realm’s restriction in such a manner.

Everyone had been forced to abide by its rules. If they wanted to obtain the treasures within, they would have to find a way to operate within the restrictions rather than attempt to overcome them through brute force.

"What?! The Dragon Blood Secret Realm appears once every ten years, and only Bloodline Fighters at or below the Origin Spirit Realm can enter?"

Ryan was greatly startled.

A sharp glint flashed through his eyes as he quickly connected the pieces.

"So that’s how it is..."

He finally understood why Lucian had gone to such lengths to recruit him.

After a brief pause, he immediately asked, "Then where exactly is this Dragon Blood Secret Realm? How does one enter it? And since it only appears once every ten years, when will it open again?"

He hadn’t expected the Secret Realm to come with so many restrictions.

However, the entry requirement immediately caught his attention.

If only Bloodline Fighters at or below the Origin Spirit Realm could enter, then he had a genuine chance of participating.

Just yesterday, he had experienced firsthand the overwhelming threat posed by a powerhouse above the Tenth Realm.

His own strength was still insufficient, and he lacked suitable opportunities to cultivate, train, and acquire valuable resources.

Wasn’t the Dragon Blood Secret Realm an ideal place to accomplish all three?

Not only could he gain valuable combat experience by exploring a dangerous environment, but he could also search for the heaven-defying Dragon Blood Fruit.

If he managed to obtain even one, he might have the opportunity to awaken another Bloodline.

And if he obtained three, he could potentially benefit from all three fruits before their effects diminished completely.

The thought alone was enough to make his heart race.

"That’s right. Only Bloodline Fighters at or below the Origin Spirit Realm can enter."

Lucian nodded, his gaze deepening.

"Multi-Bloodline Fighters possess a distinct advantage inside the Secret Realm. That’s one of the main reasons I sought you out."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"However, the number of entry slots is limited, and the major forces control most of them. Fortunately, our side possesses several slots of its own. Once you drip your blood onto the City Lord’s token and establish the blood recognition, you will be able to represent our faction and enter the Secret Realm."

Ryan nodded thoughtfully, absorbing the information.

Lucian continued, "As for when it will appear again, the Master of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion has recently conducted astronomical observations and calculations. According to his findings, the Dragon Blood Secret Realm should reappear within the next two weeks at the earliest, or a little over a month at the latest."

Having explained everything, Lucian’s expression grew serious.

"That’s more or less everything you need to know. Now, give me your answer!"

Time was running short.

His chosen team was missing only one final candidate, and he still had numerous preparations to make before the Secret Realm opened.

He needed to finalize his arrangements as quickly as possible.

If Ryan agreed to join, everything would proceed according to plan.

If he refused, Lucian would have to immediately search for another suitable candidate.

He couldn’t afford to waste any more time.
