Chapter 102: Chapter 103 : Burned Alive

Geto sat calmly in the diner with Jogo and the other cursed spirits while a waiter moved between the tables.

He’d been uneasy since they walked in. He couldn’t explain it, but every instinct told him something was seriously wrong with the strange group sitting in the corner.

Jogo leaned forward, a vicious grin splitting his face, his single bloodshot eye wide with anticipation.

"What if all of us attacked Satomi at the same time?" he asked, thick smoke curling from the volcanic crater on his head. "Even she couldn’t handle all of us."

Geto rested his chin on his intertwined fingers, smile serene but hollow.

He knew exactly what the pinnacle of jujutsu sorcery looked like.

"Don’t say I didn’t warn you," he said smoothly. "She can beat you. Easily."

Jogo’s eye twitched violently. The temperature around the booth spiked.

"All of us?"

"Yes. Even if you attacked together, there’s a good chance she’d survive and exorcise every single one of you."

Jogo bared his jagged teeth, ready to argue.

Geto kept going before he could erupt.

"That’s why you don’t fight her directly. If you really want to remove Gojo Satomi from the board, use the Prison Realm."

"Her Six Eyes and Limitless mean nothing if you can seal her before she has a chance to fight."

Jogo’s expression shifted instantly. The volatile irritation faded, replaced by a dark, greedy fascination.

"The Prison Realm..."

He grinned, turning the idea over like a cursed object he’d just found.

"I’ll take it. Then I’ll kill her."

A few feet away, the waiter froze.

The atmosphere in the diner had shifted violently. A blistering, unnatural heat radiated from the empty space across from the monk, like standing directly in front of an open blast furnace.

Pure terror hijacked the waiter’s nervous system.

He didn’t know who this man was or what invisible monster he was talking to. But every alarm bell in his head told him to get out.

Quietly, hands trembling, he unfastened his apron, dropped it on a nearby counter, and walked briskly toward the exit.

The moment the glass doors shut behind him, he broke into a dead sprint.

Inside, Jogo’s cursed energy swelled.

The diner grew unnaturally hot. Waitstaff and patrons tugged at their collars, wiping sweat from their foreheads, murmuring in confusion as the air thickened and the oxygen thinned.

Then Jogo released it.

The manager, red-faced and sweating, stormed toward the corner booth.

"What the hell is going—"

He never finished.

Without Jogo even raising a finger, the man erupted into a pillar of roaring fire.

Panic didn’t even have time to register.

Within seconds, spontaneous combustion spread across the diner — flames engulfing tables, chairs, walls, screaming customers. Flesh and bone were incinerated in the blink of an eye as hellfire consumed the entire building, leaving no chance for escape.

Through it all, Geto stayed perfectly still in his seat, robes untouched by the blazing inferno, watching the massacre with total apathy.

Jogo admired the roaring flames with intense satisfaction.

"I’ll take the Prison Realm. Gojo Satomi is next."

Geto glanced at him through the thick black smoke.

"Just remember what I told you," he said, voice cold and steady over the crackle of fire. "Don’t underestimate her."

Blocks away, the young waiter collapsed against a brick wall, gasping for breath, staring back in absolute horror at the towering inferno consuming the restaurant.

Geto smiled, watching Jogo stand there, completely fired up and convinced he could kill Gojo Satomi with his measly power.

Jogo didn’t understand what he was dealing with.

Geto did.

He had lived through centuries of jujutsu history, changing bodies and identities whenever necessary, and there was one pattern he’d never been able to shake.

Whenever his plans involved the Six Eyes and the Limitless, the Gojo clan had eventually appeared and ruined them.

Six Eyes users had been a problem for him long before the current generation.

No matter how carefully he prepared, no matter how much time he spent arranging things from the shadows, one had a way of showing up at the worst possible moment and tearing everything apart.

That was why he had no interest in testing himself against Gojo Satomi directly.

She had the Six Eyes.

She had the Limitless.

And if she was anything like the Gojo sorcerers he’d encountered in the past, fighting her head-on would be exactly the kind of mistake that turned a carefully built plan into another failure.

Jogo, of course, knew none of that history.

He only knew Gojo Satomi was powerful, and that he wanted to kill her.

Geto looked at him again.

Poor Jogo. He really thinks this is going to be a straightforward fight.

He had no intention of explaining any of it. No point feeding Jogo’s confidence — but even less reason to let him charge headlong into a fight that could end with him exorcised before he even understood what happened.

The Prison Realm was the better option.

Seal the Limitless user first. Deal with everything else after.

Geto’s smile stayed fixed as Jogo kept talking about killing Satomi.

The Gojo clan has ruined enough of my plans over the centuries. I’m not going to let another Six Eyes user do it again.

Jogo had no idea how many times that exact confidence had ended badly for people who came before him.
