The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 801 - Yuelan and Wujin (01)

Chapter 801: 801 - Yuelan and Wujin (01)

Qingyi felt a little strange, but also happy.

One more level, and the complete bloodline of the Dragon God of Corruption would fully settle within his body, restored to the level it had once reached in the past.

A primordial-grade bloodline—so elevated that, throughout the entire celestial realm, only a handful of beings were believed to possess it.

Honestly, in his case, it was even rarer than that.

Even within the same grade, the gap in power between the weakest and strongest bloodlines was enormous.

And his stood at the very pinnacle of the primordial grade, infinitely superior even to that of the Heavenly Demon, for example.

"There’s still a long road ahead..." he whispered to himself, shaking his head slightly.

Strangely, even after clicking to upgrade his bloodline, nothing happened.

"System, is everything okay?" he asked, furrowing his brow.

[Yes. Be patient.]

"Okay." He nodded, letting his shoulders relax.

After a few moments of silence, a question surfaced in his mind, and he looked up.

"The final step to improve my bloodline... I’ll have to take it on my own, won’t I?"

He wasn’t referring to the primordial grade, but rather to the one above it: the grade of creation.

[Yes.]

"Well... and then?" he asked, crossing his arms casually.

It was a question that still lingered in his mind.

He could no longer raise his own cultivation through the system, and he would soon reach the peak of his talent.

The only function left to the system was the store, allowing him to acquire resources.

[I’ll continue to help you with knowledge, the system store, and affinities. Soon after, I’ll begin the shutdown process and—]

"And get a brand-new body from your future husband, right? Hehehe." Qingyi let out a mischievous chuckle, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

The system froze for an instant, incredulous.

[You perverted womanizer...] For a brief moment, once again, the system’s voice lost its neutrality.

It was high-pitched and feminine, as lovely as Rou’er’s.

There was amusement in it, yes, but also a faint anxiety... and... pain.

Hearing that, Qingyi burst out laughing, but the laughter soon died on his lips.

[Qingyi. None of the items you purchase are stored in any kind of spatial warehouse. They are all acquired through the manipulation of fate.

When you advance to the Celestial Emperor Realm, I will no longer be able to hide from the heavens.]

The system’s voice echoed once more, this time returning to its usual coldness.

Qingyi’s expression hardened.

"I will be strong enough to stop the heavens."

[I know.]

Qingyi let out a heavy sigh.

"It’s practically certain that the heavens will attack me with a powerful celestial tribulation the moment I advance to this Realm," he said, his tone firm.

"If you’re planning to initiate your self-destruction during my advancement, hoping to prevent a second tribulation from falling on me right after the first, you know me well enough to realize it won’t work."

[Those who will try to exterminate me won’t just be the heavens—]

"The heavens, the great creator himself... I don’t care. I’ll shatter them all, if necessary."

Faced with those words, the system fell silent.

[Everything is ready. Focus your mind now.]

Qingyi nodded, closing his eyes.

This was no time to let his attention wander.

He sensed the exact moment the refinement of his bloodline began. Strangely, however, he felt no pain at all.

His body became as light as a feather, and his eyes, which had been closed, slowly opened.

He found himself in a strange place, an endless white void.

Gradually, a blue sky spread across that infinite white, stretching above his head, dotted with clouds of untouched purity.

Beneath his crossed legs, a vast sea of grass unfurled, and from that endless green, small purple flowers sprouted, swaying in the gentle breeze.

Slowly, Qingyi rose to his feet.

His eyes swept across the vast grasslands until, suddenly, they settled on something.

At the edge of a cliff, with his back turned, a man stood.

He had a powerful build, clad in greenish robes that revealed strong, well-defined arms. From his hair—also black with a faint bluish tint—two dark horns emerged.

Qingyi watched the man’s back for a moment and then walked toward him, his feet sinking slightly into the soft grass.

He stopped beside him, his eyes wandering across the horizon with a complex expression.

It was... beautiful.

As far as the eye could see, mountains, rivers, forests, and lakes stretched into the distance.

Every part of the landscape was lush and vibrant, like a Renaissance painting coming to life before his eyes.

"Are you the Dragon God of Corruption?" Qingyi asked, turning to the man beside him.

There was no answer. Instead, the man turned his face, and his purple eyes came to rest on a woman.

’Is that... Rou’er’s mother?’ Qingyi’s eyes widened for a moment.

A single glance at that woman’s beauty was enough to make his heart skip a beat.

She had long, pink hair that cascaded softly over her shoulders, a gentle smile playing on her lips, and an immaculate white dress that delicately hugged a body of beautiful curves.

’That’s a memory,’ Qingyi concluded, his gaze still fixed on the woman’s figure.

"Wujin, why are you here so early?" she asked, her voice sweet, pure and melodious.

"Yuelan..." Wujin offered a gentle smile to his beloved, reaching a hand toward her. "Nothing, my love. I was just enjoying the view."

He took her hand and pulled her into a firm embrace, his arm curling around her slender waist as his lips met hers in a gentle kiss, full of tenderness.

Yuelan melted into her husband’s arms, and when they finally parted, a slight blush colored her cheeks, her eyes brimming with love.

"Come have some tea and breakfast," she said with a sweet smile, taking Long Wujin’s hand and gently guiding him along.

Watching the couple, Qingyi realized he was in the courtyard of a vast mansion.

His eyes followed the two of them to a small table in the garden, where various treats had been laid out.
