The Devil’s Reign:The first law of void
Chapter 116:The Devil Against The House of Mirror
Lucifer fell.
There was no wind.
No sound.
No sense of direction.
Only darkness.
Then—
BOOM!
He landed on a vast black floor.
Lucifer slowly straightened.
His eyes narrowed.
The place around him was no longer the mansion.
At least…
not the mansion he had entered.
A gigantic hall stretched endlessly in every direction. Black mirrors covered the walls, ceiling, and floor. Countless reflections of Lucifer stared back at him.
Some smiled.
Some frowned.
Some were covered in darkness.
Others showed versions of Lucifer from lives he had already forgotten.
Chirin's voice echoed inside his mind.
"This place is disgusting."
Lucifer glanced at a reflection.
"You're finally saying something useful."
"I was talking about your reflections."
Lucifer smiled faintly.
Then—
CRACK.
Every mirror shattered at once.
Thousands of glass fragments flew toward him.
Lucifer didn't move.
His eyes flashed.
Sloth.
His presence vanished.
The fragments passed through the space where he had been standing.
Lucifer reappeared behind them.
"Too obvious."
The floor suddenly moved.
BOOOOM!
A gigantic hand formed from the mansion itself and slammed toward him.
Lucifer raised one hand.
Cleave.
The hand split apart.
But before the pieces could fall—
The walls moved.
The ceiling descended.
The floor rose.
Doors appeared everywhere.
The entire domain transformed.
Lucifer's expression remained unchanged.
"So that's how you want to fight."
The mansion answered with a scream.
"LUCIFFFFEEERRRR!"
Lucifer looked toward the darkness.
"You're using the entire mansion as your body."
The walls twisted.
The ceiling became a giant jaw.
The floor turned into countless hands.
The corridors stretched like veins.
Bloody Mary's voice echoed from every direction.
"This is my home."
Lucifer's eyes glowed.
"And?"
The mansion attacked.
The battle exploded.
Walls crashed together.
Floors opened beneath Lucifer.
Ceilings collapsed.
Doors became portals that launched attacks from impossible angles.
Lucifer moved through the chaos.
He stepped between attacks.
Dodged.
Countered.
Cut.
Cleave!
A wall split.
Dismantle!
A staircase shattered.
Raging Tempest!
A storm of compressed soul energy tore through an entire corridor.
But the mansion simply rebuilt itself.
Lucifer stopped.
He looked around.
The broken walls were already returning to their original positions.
"Regeneration."
"That's bad," Chirin said.
"No."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed.
"It's information."
He touched the wall.
His Demonic Eyes activated.
The entire domain suddenly changed.
Soul-energy flowed through the mansion like blood through a living body.
Every room.
Every corridor.
Every mirror.
Every staircase.
All of it connected to one central point.
Lucifer smiled.
"There you are."
The mansion trembled.
Bloody Mary's voice became furious.
"Don't touch that!"
Lucifer disappeared.
Greed.
Time slowed.
The mansion's movement became almost frozen.
Lucifer walked through the distorted space.
One step.
Two.
Three.
He reached a black door.
He placed his hand against it.
"Found you."
BOOM!
The door exploded.
Behind it was a massive chamber.
At its center stood Bloody Mary.
Long black hair.
Pale face.
Eyes glowing like dark crimson stars.
Chains of soul energy wrapped around her.
Lucifer looked at her.
"You're smaller than the mansion."
Bloody Mary smiled.
"And you're exactly where I wanted you."
The chains exploded outward.
Lucifer crossed his arms.
Blood Prison.
A crimson barrier formed around him.
The chains struck it repeatedly.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The barrier cracked.
Lucifer's expression finally became serious.
"Interesting."
Bloody Mary raised her hand.
Every mirror in the chamber opened.
Hundreds of copies of Bloody Mary stepped out.
Lucifer looked around.
"Illusions?"
"No."
Bloody Mary smiled.
"Fragments."
Every copy attacked simultaneously.
Lucifer's eyes moved rapidly.
Envy.
Their movements became transparent to him.
He could see their intentions before they moved.
Left.
Right.
Above.
Behind.
He avoided every attack.
Then—
Wrath.
His soul energy surged.
Lucifer struck the nearest Bloody Mary.
BOOM!
She vanished.
Another attacked.
Lucifer turned.
Dismantle.
Another disappeared.
Then another.
And another.
Within seconds, the chamber was filled with fading fragments.
Bloody Mary's expression changed.
"You can see through them."
Lucifer shrugged.
"I can see through you."
He raised his hand.
Severance.
A cutting wave crossed the chamber.
The remaining fragments vanished.
Bloody Mary stood alone.
Lucifer walked toward her.
"You made one mistake."
"What?"
"You kept defending the mansion."
Bloody Mary stared at him.
Lucifer pointed toward the walls.
"That means you care about it."
His eyes flashed.
"And anything you care about can be used against you."
He slammed his palm against the floor.
Raging Tempest.
Instead of attacking Bloody Mary—
the storm spread through the mansion.
Every corridor shook.
Every mirror cracked.
Every wall screamed.
Bloody Mary's eyes widened.
"What are you doing?!"
Lucifer smiled.
"Cutting your nerves."
The mansion began collapsing from the inside.
For the first time, Bloody Mary screamed.
Lucifer had understood the structure of her domain.
The mansion wasn't merely her weapon.
It was connected to her.
Every damaged section weakened her.
Bloody Mary rushed toward him.
Lucifer met her head-on.
Their attacks collided.
BOOOOM!
The shockwave tore through the chamber.
Lucifer was pushed backward.
Bloody Mary followed.
He blocked.
She struck again.
He countered.
She vanished into a mirror.
Lucifer turned—
Too late.
She emerged behind him.
Her attack struck his shoulder.
Lucifer slid across the floor.
Chirin's voice became serious.
"Lucifer."
"I know."
Lucifer touched his shoulder.
Then looked at Bloody Mary.
She was smiling.
"You're stronger than the other legends."
Lucifer's smile returned.
"Finally."
His eyes became crimson.
"Something worth killing."
The next exchange was faster.
Bloody Mary transformed the mansion into a battlefield.
The floor became waves.
The walls became fists.
The ceiling became blades of compressed soul energy.
Mirrors opened everywhere.
Lucifer was attacked from every direction.
He used Sloth to erase his presence.
Greed slowed the attacks.
Envy predicted their movements.
Pride copied Bloody Mary's spatial technique.
Wrath amplified his attacks.
Gluttony devoured the soul energy scattered through the battlefield.
The longer the fight continued—
the more Lucifer understood.
And the more Bloody Mary weakened.
Finally—
Lucifer appeared directly in front of her.
His hand touched her chest.
"Cleave."
BOOM!
Bloody Mary was thrown backward.
She crashed through three walls.
Lucifer walked after her.
The mansion trembled.
Bloody Mary struggled to stand.
Lucifer raised his hand.
"Game over."
Then—
A voice came from behind him.
"Stop."
Lucifer froze.
Not from fear.
From recognition.
He slowly turned.
Bloody Mary was holding Amaira.
Amaira was barely conscious.
Her soul energy was severely weakened.
Bloody Mary's hand rested against her shoulder.
"One more step."
Lucifer stared.
Bloody Mary smiled.
"You lose."
Silence.
Chirin whispered.
"Lucifer..."
Lucifer's expression didn't change.
"Interesting."
Bloody Mary expected anger.
Fear.
Panic.
Anything.
She got nothing.
Lucifer simply looked at Amaira.
Then at Bloody Mary.
"You think she's my weakness?"
Bloody Mary tightened her grip.
Lucifer sighed.
"No."
His eyes became cold.
"She's your mistake."
Bloody Mary hesitated.
Lucifer vanished.
Sloth.
His presence disappeared completely.
Bloody Mary's eyes widened.
"Where—?"
Lucifer appeared beside Amaira.
His hand moved faster than thought.
Severance.
The connection between Bloody Mary and Amaira was cut.
Amaira fell.
Lucifer caught her.
Bloody Mary attacked immediately.
Lucifer turned his body.
The attack passed beside Amaira.
Lucifer shielded her with his own soul energy.
He looked down at Amaira.
"Wake up."
Her eyes opened slightly.
Lucifer leaned toward her ear and whispered something only she could hear.
Amaira's eyes widened.
She looked at him.
Lucifer nodded toward a nearby doorway.
"Go."
Amaira pushed herself upright.
She stumbled once.
Then began running.
Bloody Mary screamed.
"NO!"
The mansion itself moved.
Walls rushed toward Amaira.
Doors slammed shut.
The floor twisted.
But Lucifer stepped between them.
His eyes glowed.
"You're not touching her."
A massive wall crashed toward Amaira.
Cleave.
It split apart.
A corridor collapsed.
Dismantle.
The debris vanished.
Bloody Mary sent dozens of shadow-like hands after Amaira.
Lucifer raised one hand.
Blood Chain.
Crimson chains erupted across the corridor and intercepted them.
Amaira disappeared into another room.
The door slammed shut.
Bloody Mary stared at Lucifer.
"You chose to protect her."
Lucifer looked back.
"No."
He cracked his neck.
"I chose to finish you."
The mansion became silent.
Then every mirror lit up.
Bloody Mary's smile returned.
"You still don't understand."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed.
The walls began transforming.
The mansion wasn't collapsing anymore.
It was changing.
Growing.
Expanding.
The entire domain began forming something enormous behind Bloody Mary.
A gigantic silhouette rose from the darkness.
Its head touched the ceiling.
Its arms stretched across the entire domain.
Its eyes opened.
Chirin went silent.
Lucifer stared at it.
For the first time during the battle—
his smile disappeared.
Bloody Mary laughed.
"You destroyed my mansion."
The gigantic creature moved.
"But the mansion was never my true body."
Lucifer's eyes glowed brighter.
Bloody Mary raised both hands.
"Welcome to the second layer of my domain."
The entire world shook.
Lucifer slowly summoned Chirin.
The weapon materialized in his hand.
He looked toward the enormous entity.
Then smiled.
"Now we're talking."
And the second battle began.
