The Ethersmith

Chapter 263 Progress Update & New Story Announcement!

  • Next Chapter

Hello!

As you've probably noticed, Ethersmith has been on hiatus for a while. My apologies. I got burnt out on the series and was unhappy with the direction I'd taken book 4. I was working on other projects for a while.

However, I am now back to working on Ethersmith! My deadline for finishing book 4 is the end of October this year. I will most likely publish it all at once when it's done.

In the meantime, I'm excited to announce the launch of a new story!

This one is a nerdy transmigration isekai story with a chunky magic system and world building. Been having a lot of fun with it. I'll let the cover and blurb do the rest of the talking.

Leon Sinclair spent a decade mastering magic alone on Earth.

With no spellbooks to guide him, Leon built his own style of magic from scratch, inventing spells through years of trial and error. He practiced in isolation and never told a soul, except for his missing sister, Trina, the only other mage on earth, and the one person who he was truly close with.

When a spell to locate Trina instead attracts the attention of a divine being, Leon’s mana core is torn from his body and cast into another world. He wakes up with the memories of a seventeen-year-old dropout in the city of New Asterra: a prosperous city of innovation, where magic is outlawed and every mage is hunted.

Powerful figures are already after him. Using the magic he invented on earth, Leon has to survive as a boy whose life is already falling apart. If Leon wants to find Trina, survive the hunters, and uncover why Asterra truly fears magic, he'll need to master a system far more complex than anything Earth ever had.
