The Exiled Lord: My Maid is a Battle Goddess

Chapter 390: Ashina VS Tisiana

Chapter 390: Ashina VS Tisiana

The current priority for the territory is to increase the population and rapidly strengthen our overall power.

"You truly are a noble, through and through. Nobility runs in your blood," Kaor said with a long sigh of relief.

"Now that we’ve covered the main direction, I’ve also organized the remaining details."

With that, Phield handed out the documents for everyone to review.

After the meeting, Phield spent the rest of the day handling administrative affairs and visiting the wounded. By the time night fell, he finally returned to the castle.

"Phew... I finally dealt with that mountain of unfinished business."

His neck and shoulders ached terribly as he lazily slumped into his chair. Another question surfaced in his mind.

"Just how do the Divine Chosen advance?"

"According to the territory interface, divine power comes from the territory’s development, the people’s happiness, and the quality of the environment."

"But if that’s the case, why has Ashina advanced so quickly while the little fox and the little angel haven’t shown any signs of progress after all this time?"

"In a world this absurd... could it actually require..."

Just as he was deep in thought, the door opened.

"My lord, it’s me. Hehe."

Unlike her usual capable demeanor, Ashina tiptoed into the room. Because of her Winter Divine Power, a cool mist always surrounded her, and even her body felt pleasantly cold, like a living air conditioner.

She might be a little too chilly during winter, but in the middle of summer, it was incredibly refreshing.

She had the slender figure of a young maiden. Though she lacked the mature curves of an older beauty, her wild and flawless features possessed a charm all their own.

Seeing her expression, Phield chuckled.

"By the way, Ashina, how far are you from reaching the third tier? Judging by your recent performance, your divine power feels much stronger."

In the past, she had needed time to gather her strength before unleashing a miracle. Yet during the battle against the pirates, she had cast her divine technique the instant she raised her hand. Rosalia’s brilliance had always overshadowed her, making it easy to overlook Ashina’s own growth.

"Mmm... That’s true. My total divine power has increased a lot, and it’s accumulating much faster now. I’m probably at the High Second Tier." Ashina flicked her wolf ears and smiled. "It’s probably because the territory has expanded."

"I don’t think that’s the only reason."

"Hehe. I don’t really care."

Phield continued pondering the matter while Ashina wore a teasing grin. Without the slightest hesitation, she hopped onto the desk, stretched out her snow-white legs toward him, and gracefully arched her body, outlining an alluring silhouette.

"Forget it. No point overthinking it."

This little troublemaker had evolved from a wolf demi-human into a mischievous wolf demi-human.

At that moment, a startled cry came from outside the room.

"Ashina! What are you doing?"

Turning around, they saw Tisiana standing in the doorway. Her eyes were wide with disbelief as she stared at the scene before her.

"Why are you kicking Phield? And you’re kicking him in the face! That’s too much! You can’t bully Lord Phield! Move away from him!"

Ashina answered honestly before awkwardly scratching the back of her head.

"I forgot to close the door. Could you close it for us?"

"We were discussing something. Um... I was actually giving Ashina a massage. After that, we were planning to continue on the bed..."

Phield coughed awkwardly.

"Ashina, you can’t do this!" Tisiana exclaimed, furious.

"Phield is my lord too, and I was here first."

Phield puffed out his chest with an exaggeratedly smug expression.

"Stop pretending to be some innocent girl. Did you think I didn’t notice those seductive fox eyes of yours? You’re just playing hard to get so you can keep Lord Phield all to yourself. Human women are so devious!"

Tisiana stumbled back two steps in shock.

"That’s not true at all!"

"You’re obviously after my lord, you shameless woman. I’ll carry on Lord Phield’s bloodline. That’s something to be proud of."

"I... I can have children too... That makes me honorable as well."

The moment the words left her mouth, Tisiana’s face turned bright red. For a former nun to say something like that showed just how furious she truly was.

"Using something like that to glorify yourself is absolutely shameless!"

Wherever there were people, there would always be conflicts. Even the Divine Chosen were no exception.

The clash between the two was rooted in their completely different beliefs. As the representative of the military, Ashina belonged firmly to the radical faction, while Tisiana was much more gentle and moderate.

After exchanging insults for a while, the two of them finally came to blows. Fortunately, both exercised restraint and refrained from using their divine powers. Otherwise, the room would have been blown apart.

"Impressive."

Phield calmly poured himself a cup of tea, took a bag of dried fish from the drawer, and quietly enjoyed the spectacle.

Without divine powers, a battle between Divine Chosen was surprisingly pleasing to watch.

Their smooth, youthful skin, breathtaking figures, and clothes gradually torn apart during the struggle made it impossible to look away.

In the end, Ashina’s superior physical abilities secured her inevitable victory.

Wrapping her powerful legs around Tisiana’s neck in a scissor choke, she held her firmly in place while pinning both of her arms.

Tisiana struggled desperately, but aside from twisting herself into increasingly awkward positions, she accomplished nothing. The exertion left her skin glistening with sweat.

Unless she used her divine power, there was no way she could escape. But Ashina was already in the Second Tier, and even then she wouldn’t stand a chance.

"Mmm... Let me go. This feels so strange."

Tisiana looked utterly wronged as tears welled up in her eyes. Moments later, she began to sob softly.

"Waaah..."

"Victory! Victory! Victory!"

Ashina’s wolf ears twitched excitedly.

"The strong have every right to humiliate the weak."

"You’re the weak one."

Tisiana shot back stubbornly before bursting into tears again.

"Don’t move, or I’ll squeeze your head flat."

"Alright, alright. That’s enough."

Phield laughed helplessly and quickly stepped in to calm them down.

"I was actually discussing something with Ashina. Since you’re here now, let’s talk about it together."

"Huh?"

Still looking aggrieved, Tisiana blinked in confusion.

"What is it? You’re not just making that up to distract me, are you?"

"It’s about how the Divine Chosen advance. I suspect the territory’s divine power is like a cake. Development and progress simply make the cake bigger, but the real question is how it’s divided. That’s worth investigating."

Ashina maintained the chokehold as she tilted her head.

"What kind of method?"

"Maybe it’s distributed according to CG animations," Phield replied with a completely serious expression.

"Huh? I’ve never heard of that before."

Ashina tilted her head again, utterly unable to understand what he meant.

"Perfect. Tisiana lost the match, so the loser deserves punishment. Of course, the winner deserves punishment too."

A sharp glint flashed across Phield’s eyes.

"It’s time to show you both a power capable of defeating the Divine Chosen!"

With those words, Phield decisively made his move, taking advantage of the brief moment when both of them were completely restrained.
