EPISODE 2 — I WON'T SHARE
LEGENDARY ADVENTURE
EPISODE 2 — I WON'T SHARE HIM
"Put me down."
"No."
"Grandpa."
"No."
"Put me dowwwwwn."
Holar kept walking. Percy was swinging under his arm. About ten paces behind them walked Eleanor.
Beside her was Clara. Clara was allowed to walk. Percy had noticed this.
And he was not happy about it at all.
"Why is she walking?"
"Because she's behaving."
Percy looked back. Clara smiled at him.
Percy immediately turned to Holar.
"I'm behaving too."
"You just tried to bite her."
"I didn't bite her."
"You tried to."
"But I didn't bite her."
Holar thought for a few seconds. Logically, he wasn't completely wrong. This annoyed Holar.
Percy seized the opportunity.
"Put me down."
"You won't run away?"
"I won't."
"You won't attack Clara?"
Percy fell silent.
Holar looked down.
"Percy."
"...I won't run away."
"And the second part?"
Percy didn't answer.
Eleanor laughed from behind.
"Fairly honest."
"Unfortunately."
Holar finally set Percy down on the ground. Percy straightened his clothes. Then he turned and looked at Clara.
Clara looked back at him. The two remained silent for a few seconds.
"Ugly."
Clara's mouth fell open.
"ME?!"
Holar closed his eyes.
Eleanor burst out laughing.
"Percy."
"What?"
"Apologize."
Percy looked at Clara. Clara had crossed her arms.
Percy thought.
"I'm sorry."
Clara's face softened a bit.
Percy continued.
"For you being ugly."
"PER-CYYY!"
Percy ran. Clara chased after him. Holar opened his eyes.
The two children were already sprinting down the street.
Eleanor walked up beside him.
"Are you going to catch them?"
"No."
"Why?"
"Let them tire themselves out."
"Clever."
They started walking side by side. Percy was fast. Or at least he thought he was fast.
He looked back.
Clara was still coming.
"You can't catch me!"
"CAN TOO!"
"You're slow!"
"AM NOT!"
Percy turned forward again. And bumped into someone.
*Thump.*
He landed right on his bottom.
"..."
Clara couldn't stop in time. She bumped into Percy too. The two tumbled onto the ground together.
"Get off me!"
"You get off!"
"You're on top of me!"
"You're underneath!"
"THAT'S THE SAME THING!"
"Is not!"
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
"Hey."
The two went quiet. They raised their heads. Three children were standing before them.
The boy Percy bumped into was standing in the middle. He had black hair. He looked a bit taller than Percy.
Beside him was a blonde boy and another boy with short brown hair. The boy in the middle looked at Percy.
Percy looked back at him.
"Watch where you're going."
Percy scowled.
"You watch where you're going."
"I was standing still."
"You were standing in the wrong place."
The blonde boy beside him laughed.
"Arthur, he told you that you were standing in the wrong place."
Arthur. Percy didn't care about the name. He stood up.
Clara sat up as well.
Arthur looked at Percy.
"You bumped into me."
"You were in front of me."
"Because I'm on the street."
"I'm on the street too."
Arthur fell silent for a few seconds. Percy fell silent too. Clara looked at the two of them.
"You're both stupid."
Percy immediately turned around.
"Stay out of this."
Clara put her hands on her hips.
"I won't."
Arthur looked at Clara.
Then at Percy.
"Is she your friend?"
Percy and Clara answered at the exact same time:
"NO!"
The two boys beside Arthur laughed again.
Clara glared at them.
"Don't laugh."
The blonde boy stopped laughing. The other one didn't. Clara glared at him.
He stopped too.
Arthur tilted his head slightly.
"I'm Arthur."
Percy didn't answer.
Arthur waited.
"...And you?"
"Percy."
Clara chimed in.

"I'm Clara."
Percy looked at her.
"He didn't ask you."
"So what?"
"Why are you telling him?"
"Because I want to."
Arthur turned to Clara this time.
"Hello Clara."
Percy's face changed. Clara saw it. And the moment she realized Percy was getting angry...
She smiled.
"Hello Arthur."
Percy's eyebrow twitched.
Arthur had no idea.
"My friends are Oliver and Henry."
Oliver raised his hand.
"Hi."
Henry nodded in greeting as well. Clara waved at them too. Percy's face was frowning more and more.
Arthur finally noticed.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"You're looking like that."
"Like how?"
"Angry."
"I'm not."
Clara stepped a little closer to Arthur with an innocent expression. Percy looked immediately. Clara took another step.
Percy's eyes narrowed. A look of triumph appeared on Clara's face. Arthur looked back and forth between the two of them.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
Clara had answered. Percy grunted. Just then, Eleanor's voice came from a distance.
"Clara!"
Clara looked back. Holar and Eleanor were coming toward them. Arthur looked too.
Oliver beside him suddenly stood up straight.
"Holar Jun..."
Henry's eyes widened. Arthur looked at Holar for a few seconds. Then at Percy.
When Holar approached, Percy immediately went to his side. As if he hadn't been the one running away a few minutes ago, he took Holar's hand.
Holar looked down.
"Done running?"
"Yes."
"Done annoying Clara?"
Percy looked at Clara.
Clara stuck her tongue out.
"No."
"Understood."
Eleanor noticed Arthur.
"Arthur Green."
Arthur raised his head.
"Hello, Mrs. Leyvar."
Eleanor smiled.
"Look how much you've grown."
Holar looked at Arthur too. For a moment, a familiar expression appeared on his face.
"So you are Richard's son."
Arthur nodded.
"Yes."
Percy looked at Holar. Then at Arthur.
Then back at Holar.
"You know him too?"
Holar looked down.
"Yes."
Percy's face fell. Clara saw this. She pressed her lips together, trying not to laugh.
Holar looked at Arthur.
"How is your father?"
"He's well."
"Give him my regards."
"I will."
Percy held Holar's hand a little tighter.
"Grandpa."
"Hm?"
"Let's go."
"You wanted to walk around just a moment ago."
"I don't anymore."
Clara couldn't hold it in. She laughed.
Percy looked at her.
"Don't laugh."
Clara laughed harder. Arthur was still looking at Percy. Then he noticed him holding Holar's hand.
"Is he your grandfather?"
Percy's expression instantly changed.
"Yes."
Arthur looked at Holar again. At the most powerful man in the world.
Then at Percy.
"Whoa."
Percy's chest puffed out slightly.
Arthur continued.
"My dad is the academy principal."
Percy's chest deflated.
"...So what?"
"Nothing."
Arthur shrugged. Percy looked at him. Arthur looked back at Percy.
Holar saw this. Eleanor saw it too. There was nothing between the two boys yet.
No hatred. No friendship. No rivalry.
Just... A very strong first impression that they didn't like each other.
Holar took Percy's hand.
"Come on."
Percy started walking with him. After a few steps, he looked back. Arthur was still there.
He was looking at Percy too. Percy stuck his tongue out. Arthur raised an eyebrow.
Then... He smiled.
Percy immediately turned back around.
"I don't like him."
Holar looked down.
"Who?"
"Arthur."
"You met him five minutes ago."
"It was enough."
Holar didn't answer. Eleanor was laughing from behind.
Clara ran up beside Percy.
"I like Arthur."
Percy stopped. Clara stopped too. They looked at each other.
Percy's eyes narrowed. Clara smiled. After walking a few steps, Holar noticed the silence behind them.
He turned around.
"No."
They hadn't done anything yet. But both looked at him as if they had been caught red-handed. Holar sighed.
The long day really hadn't ended yet.
