"Carson Flores!"

Lorvian Randall’s eyes lit up, and he exclaimed with surprise, "What are you doing here?"

The blue waves on Shirley Miller’s body suddenly trembled violently, but she didn’t say anything. After all, there were many Sea God Sect disciples around, and her identity was quite sensitive.

Carson Flores stepped forward and said with a smile, "I’m just on a rotation break, about to return to the War God Mansion, when I saw the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain’s fleet, so I came over to see if there were any familiar faces."

Lorvian Randall was overjoyed, patting Carson Flores on the arm, his gaze falling on the badge on Carson’s chest: "You’re with the War God Mansion now?"

Carson nodded, "Yes, just got back from the battlefield."

He paused, then punched Lorvian Randall lightly in the chest, "People come and go, let’s settle down first and then chat more leisurely."

Lorvian Randall glanced at Shirley Miller, who was standing quietly beside them, and nodded, "Alright!"

Carson didn’t show any signs, he just glanced at Shirley Miller and then withdrew his gaze.

After all, the water waves obscured everything, making it look hazy and indistinct.

The two continued toward the camp, with Carson keeping them company.

Soon, the Sea God Sect’s strong individuals were allocated a part of the camp according to their numbers and settled themselves in.

All present were powerful immortals, and as long as they were given a piece of territory, they could arrange and settle themselves in perfectly. After all, this was a temporary arrangement, and there wasn’t any formal enlistment, so there weren’t too many rules.

The Sea God was positioned in the central part of the camp by the Sea God Sect, while Lorvian Randall’s camp was a bit more forward.

Carson glanced at the Sea God’s back as he entered the main camp and followed Lorvian Randall into his tent.

Lorvian Randall cast a Soundproof Spell, took out two chairs, and invited Carson to sit down.

"It’s been a long time. Is everything alright?"

Carson smiled, "The process was a bit dangerous, but no major issues. How about you, what’s your current level and status?"

Lorvian Randall replied, "Superior Grade Great Land Prime Immortal, Saint Heir, but I’m practically acting as the Sect Hierarch. The old Sect Leader has been recuperating and cultivating, not really handling sect affairs. He thinks I’m doing a pretty good job..."

Carson’s eyes brightened, "Superior Grade Great Land, Will-Power Cultivation is indeed powerful. And my wife? If you’ve reached Superior Grade Great Land, she shouldn’t be less, right?"

Lorvian Randall’s expression turned slightly subtle, "She’s at the Peak of Great Land, and as she put it, she’s got one foot into the Quasi-Saint Realm, just needing to push the other foot in."

Carson’s eyes widened in delight, "Quasi-Saint?"

Lorvian Randall answered, "Yes, she’s been cultivating in the Pool of Will Power, her strength advancing rapidly with terrifying progress. If she hadn’t wanted to take this opportunity to teleport directly to the Crimson Immortal Domain to find you, she might have continued her retreat until she crossed that final step completely."

"What’s the rush?"

Carson frowned immediately, "There’s no rush, she should have waited until her cultivation was stable before coming. Wouldn’t that be better?"

Lorvian Randall chuckled wryly, "I tried to persuade her too, but she said since you were coming to the War God Mansion to find Norric Shepherd, and you were a soldier in the mortal realm, you would definitely join the battle this time, so she was worried she might be late..."

Carson suddenly realized, Shirley Miller was concerned that if she waited until she became a Quasi-Saint, he might already be dead on the battlefield, and by the time she arrived, even as a Quasi-Saint, she’d be powerless to change that.

Warmth surged in Carson’s heart. Entering the Quasi-Saint Realm is such a huge temptation for an immortal.

Countless immortals would be willing to give up everything to step into the Quasi-Saint Realm, yet in Shirley Miller’s heart, his safety was far more important than reaching Quasi-Saint.

Though Carson felt some regret that Shirley Miller gave up the chance to contemplate fully and reach Quasi-Saint, he wasn’t too disappointed.

If the situation were reversed, if he knew Shirley Miller was in danger, facing the temptation of breaking through to Quasi-Saint, he would surely give up on further contemplation and rush to Shirley Miller’s side to ensure her safety.

As husband and wife, she did it, and Carson could do the same, so there’s nothing to discuss; they can face the future together.

Besides, she’s already got one foot in, so they’ll find a way to get the other foot in afterward, won’t they?

Life is long; there’s always a way.

Carson nodded, "Has anything happened these years?"

Lorvian Randall smiled, "What could happen? She’s been in retreat for cultivation, only appearing briefly at several important gatherings to show the Sea God’s Seal and express her support for the old Sect Leader and me. Besides that, she hasn’t shown her face at all."

"The Myriad Immortals Palace seems to have some thoughts about the changes in the Sea God Sect, but the Sea God and the old Sect Leader have reached a consensus, so naturally, there are no openings for others to exploit. Although there are some troubles, they’re manageable with some muddling through."

"Originally, the old Sect Leader didn’t want the Sea God to come this time. After all, the Sea God is about to enter the Quasi-Saint Realm, and the old Sect Leader hoped she could stay, focus on her cultivation, and helm the Sea God Sect, but he couldn’t stop her, nor could he oppose her. Now the Sea God is beyond the old Sect Leader’s capability..."
