Wanyan Ningshuang glared at Yang Ruxin with resentment, then turned to Sanni and the others with hostility: "I’m sorry." After speaking, she turned and ran away.
Chi Zhu quickly chased after her.
"So, madam, are you satisfied?" Wanyan Liang raised his eyebrows at Yang Ruxin, with a hint of menace.
"Although the princess’s apology was insincere, Wanyan Crown Prince’s attitude was still quite sincere." Yang Ruxin ignored his gaze, casually smiling, and glanced back at her sisters, "Let’s just leave it at that, shall we?"

The younger ones nodded along.

Gu Qingheng also naturally retreated to the back of the crowd, continuing in his role as guard.
Qi Jingchen touched his nose, thinking that girl even grudges against me? Seems I should find time to apologize.
Jiang Fangfei, who hadn’t spoken all along, couldn’t hide her excitement. She had long disliked Princess Ningshuang but could only endure it. Yet, Xinxin proved to be formidable and worthy of admiration. She couldn’t help but give a thumbs-up.
Yang Ruxin seemed to sense it, and turned back to wink at her.
Beside her, Princess Ahyang kept frowning, realizing that when she had previously provoked Yang Ruxin, Ruxin had been lenient. She glanced at the imposing man who emitted a fierce aura; though truly attractive, her self-esteem forbade her from pursuing him, knowing full well the dire consequences. So, she gave up. There were plenty of good men in the world.
Little did Princess Ahyang know, her timely retreat would earn her Yang Ruxin’s aid in the future, helping her through a difficult time. But that’s a story for another day.
Wanyan Liang watched Yang Ruxin’s departing figure, his eyes narrowed slightly.
