Chapter 926: Chapter 926: Clues and Analysis

Shen Mo was in the lobby on the first floor, where he left a message about acquiring clues regarding the Longevity Demon Lord. After chatting briefly with Ming Cang, he departed the Bamboo Pavilion.

Later, he posted similar notices in other shops and stalls across the main city of the Dreamland!

It wasn’t long before a large amount of intricate clues and intelligence began to flow toward him...

In the Dreamland, there were many like him gathering clues about the Demon Lord, with various pieces of information being mixed, true and false alike. Therefore, Shen Mo didn’t set a transaction price beforehand but completed the trade first, verified the authenticity of the clues later, and then let the Dreamland settle the Dreamland copper coins based on his true intention and the rules.

After meticulous selection and verification, Shen Mo finally sorted out the movements of the Longevity Demon Lord from the vast amount of information.

This great demon of the Longevity race, after failing his tribulation, took the Moon Palace and left the Immortal Mansion Dungeon, showing up externally three times in succession!

The first time was in Dongjie Continent.

According to eyewitnesses, a gigantic jade sphere that seemed like the Moon Palace fell from the Ninth Heaven, where fierce battles erupted with alarming momentum. After staying in place for two days, it disappeared again.

This wasn’t first-hand intel but had passed through many revisions before reaching the Dreamland. It was also passed through many hands to Shen Mo; thus, he couldn’t know the specific details. However, many Dreamland cultivators speculated that the Longevity Demon Lord’s failure in the tribulation severely weakened him, so he couldn’t suppress his underlings, leading to internal strife. Even the Moon Palace fell from the sky. Eventually, he spent several days to crush the rebels.

The second time was in Zhuji Continent.

The Moon Palace descended upon a gathering place of immortals and mortals, where a bronze halberd flew out from the palace and beheaded the Protector, a cultivator of the middle stage of the Wuxiang Realm.

Afterwards, the world changed color, and blood rain fell for three days straight. All the billions of mortals and cultivators in the gathering place were turned into longevity flesh and gradually merged into a mountain-sized meatball, which was taken by the Palace!

It can be confirmed that this atrocity was committed by the Longevity Demon Lord.

He turned billions of immortals and mortals into longevity flesh, evidently collecting cultivation "resources" to restore the primal Essence and Qi lost during the tribulation!

The third time he headed to Phoenix Continent.

Five thousand miles west of Jade Spring Mountain was a vast river, seven hundred ninety thousand miles long and thousands of miles wide, named "Hidden Dragon River," which had thousands of true dragons dwelling within, some of whom were comparable to True Immortals in strength.

This time, the Moon Palace appeared in the midstream of Hidden Dragon River. Then, the Longevity Demon Lord revealed his true form, using the celestial artifact bronze halberd to injure an old dragon of the Wuxiang Realm, stealing a Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl from the old dragon’s Water Mansion, and then escaped before other true dragons could aid, disappearing without a trace!

A Dreamland cultivator acquainted with the old dragon from Hidden Dragon River inquired about the effects of the Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl.

According to the old dragon, this Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl could suppress the power of thunder within the tribulation of heaven and earth, so the Longevity Demon Lord might have been injured by the power of the thunder tribulation during the Immortal Tribulation, thus seeking the pearl’s effects to heal his wounds!

The Thunder Chi and the "Fire Chi" inside Shen Mo’s Fire Chi Cauldron are both of Python Dragon descent, with the biggest difference to other true dragons being the absence of horns on their heads, one possessing a lightning attribute and the other a fire attribute.

However, the true Fire Chi dragons in the Primordial Realm were long extinct, and the "Fire Chi" refined into the cauldron was merely a Python Dragon with a single Fire Chi bloodline, far from being a pure True Dragon; while the Thunder Chi that left the Dragon Pearl was a true dragon with pure bloodline, an ancestor of the injured old dragon!

It’s much like how cultivators are revered by mortals as "Immortals," but they are not true immortals, analogous circumstances.

The "Fire Chi Dragon Seed Python Dragon" in the Fire Chi Cauldron has an extremely powerful ability to control fire, and Shen Mo always lets the Fire Chi phantom ingest and exhale the furnace flames to assist him in controlling the heat during alchemy.

As the Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl was left by a true dragon, it is certainly thousands of times stronger than the "Fire Chi Dragon Seed Python Dragon," and it’s not surprising that it could suppress the power of thunder in the Immortal Tribulation!

Quelling the internal strife within the Moon Palace, collecting resources to restore vitality, and snatching the Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl for healing tribulation injuries... from these three appearances by the Longevity Demon Lord, many crucial pieces of information emerged.

First and foremost.

The Longevity Demon Lord was indeed severely injured under the Immortal Tribulation and the hands of the True Immortal.

His underlings had all consumed Longevity Pills, yet in such circumstances, either seeking to break free from his control or because he intended to use them in alchemy, rebellion sprouted and was put into action, even forcing the Moon Palace to fall from the sky, exposing its whereabouts. Clearly, handling this internal strife wasn’t easy for the Longevity Demon Lord!

Additionally, entities like him wouldn’t consider ordinary "resources" at all. When setting a trap in the Moon Palace, selections were keenly made so only the elite in the Divine Bridge and Formless Realm could enter his Dharma Eye, becoming materials for his Longevity Pill.

But now he is indiscriminate, turning billions of immortals and mortals into longevity flesh on Zhuji Continent as immediate resources to restore vitality.

The most severe of his injuries was from the thunder tribulation. Hence, he ventured to Hidden Dragon River to seize the Thunder Chi Dragon Pearl for subduing the force of tribulation thunder!

Secondly.

The Longevity Demon Lord’s injuries are rapidly healing, wielding the celestial artifact bronze halberd, coping with his underling rebellion at first was exceedingly dire, surely weakened to a certain extent.

Yet, appearing in Zhuji Continent, he easily slew a cultivator of the middle stage of Wuxiang Realm; later, in Hidden Dragon River, he even injured an old dragon at the late Formless Realm, clearly having moved past the weakest phase!

For those like them, great cultivators and great demons only inferior to True Immortals, their cultivation Realm can somewhat reflect the real combat power’s height, yet there isn’t a direct correlation...

Such as Shen Mo, though he’s an early-stage cultivator in the Formless Realm, with the blessings of Destiny, cultivation method, magic treasures, magic, and Skills, ordinary middle-stage or late-stage Formless Realm opponents wouldn’t necessarily be his match; if he were to use the Blood Sacrifice method to activate the God Slaying Array and the million Soul Generals within the Blood Sacrifice Banner, he would dare to kill even a Formless Realm Peak!

So it goes for the Longevity Demon Lord; originally a Sixth Order Peak of the Longevity race, he can also be called a Formless Realm Peak great demon, mastering the celestial artifact bronze halberd, which might even enable him to slay Ghost Immortals slightly weaker and without celestial artifacts!

Now, from his performance in injuring the Thunder Chi old dragon, his cultivation Realm seems to have recovered to the middle stage of Wuxiang Realm standard, and with the celestial artifact’s aid, he can exert late-stage or even peak Formless Realm combat power... if his state were feeble, it’d be like a child swinging a heavy hammer, unable to exert the celestial artifact’s inherent might!

Lastly.

The Longevity Demon Lord seems headed for Phoenix Continent.

Due to the scarcity of information, Shen Mo remains unaware if this great demon is coming for the fragmented golden page. However, having presented himself three times in succession, each time closer to Jade Spring Mountain, the possibility cannot be entirely excluded!
