The guard detail snapped their spears vertically in crisp unison, the ringing thud of bronze butt-spikes echoing across the courtyard flagstones as the delegation reached the palatial archway.

Lady Kaelen led them through towering cedar double doors bound in polished sun-brass.

The estate opened into a cavernous grand foyer of soaring cream marble, flanked by fluted sandstone columns and illuminated by levitating solar globes that bathed the hall in a warm, honeyed radiance.

Rows of slender beastkin attendants draped in sheer golden silks bowed low on either side of the crimson carpet, their ears pressed flat and gazes trained submissively to the floor.

"The master chambers occupy the entire eastern wing, overlooking the private terrace springs," Kaelen explained, pivoting with an elegant, practiced sweep of her arm.

Despite her imperial training, her amber eyes betrayed her, snaring against the raw, cut contours of Azriel’s bare forearms before tracing the dense slabs of muscle stretching across his shoulders.

A subtle flush rose along her throat, and she dragged her gaze back toward Rosalind with visible strain.

"Every amenity has been requisitioned under supreme ducal authority," Kaelen continued, steadying her tone.

"Thermal mineral baths infused with high-grade earth aether, private training chambers fitted with sovereign dampening fields, and direct daily allocations of prime beast-cores and imperial game."

"And Eleanor?" Rosalind interjected smoothly, slicing through the courtly recital with sharp maternal focus.

She casually closed the distance between herself and Azriel, her shoulder brushing his with an intimate ease that caused several watching attendants to stiffen in covert shock.

"Has my daughter reported in?"

Kaelen dipped her head slightly, a flicker of nervous hesitation crossing her features.

"Apologies, Your Grace. We initially received confirmation that Lady Eleanor would cross the city gates before midday. However... a courier rune arrived barely two hours ago stating her arrival would be delayed until late evening."

Rosalind pinched the bridge of her nose, letting out a long, weary sigh.

"That girl. She must have stumbled across another dungeon on the border and couldn’t resist diving in headfirst."

A low, amused chuckle slipped from Vesperia’s throat as the Matriarch strolled past them, trailing the backs of her knuckles across Azriel’s waist with open, unbothered familiarity.

"Like mother, like daughter, Rose," Vesperia remarked, a wicked gleam dancing in her feline eyes.

"She’s out hunting down prey while the rest of the capital is busy preening their claws for the opening ceremony. I’d expect nothing less from the girl who carries our blood."

Rosalind turned her attention back toward the court envoy, slipping back into her aloof, imperial grace.

"You are dismissed, Lady Kaelen," Rosalind stated, her tone cool and definitive.

"We will summon the attendants if anything further is required."

"Understood, Your Grace," Kaelen responded, dipping into a deep, disciplined bow.

As the envoy pivoted to withdraw down the grand carpeted runner, her amber eyes flickered sideways, stealing one last, burning glance at Azriel’s relaxed frame before she slipped through the cedar doors.

Once the heavy brass latches clicked shut and the foyer cleared of imperial ears, the lingering formality vanished entirely.

Vesperia spun slowly on her heel, her golden slit-pupils sweeping over his tall frame with simmering, predatory heat.

"Though... that leaves our afternoon delightfully empty, doesn’t it?"

Azriel’s lips curved into a slow, knowing smirk, his violet eyes meeting hers with effortless confidence.

"Sounds like the perfect opportunity to test out those sovereign dampening fields in the private chambers."

Rosalind’s ears twitched forward, a deep, possessive purr rumbling in her throat as she stepped close, looping her arm tightly around his other side and pressing the plush contour of her breast flush against his bicep.

"I believe," Rosalind purred softly against his shoulder, "the thermal spring baths require our immediate inspection first. A long journey across spatial arrays always leaves such a persistent chill."

The path to the thermal bath led through a colonnade of pale gold sandstone, open on one side to a sunken courtyard where date palms clattered softly in the dry desert wind.

Inside, the bath pavilion was an expanse of jade-veined marble sunk directly into the natural rock shelf.

Steam rose in lazy, fragrant coils from the subterranean spring, laced with the sharp, invigorating mineral scent of deep-earth aether.

Broad, shallow steps descended into water so clear the intricate sun-sigils tiled across the basin floor shimmered like polished brass beneath the surface.

Vesperia didn’t wait for ceremony.

Her leather clasps released with practiced snaps, falling away to reveal the taut, pale of a veteran warrior.

Her long white tail swayed with fluid, lazily as she stepped onto the first tier of wet stone.

The water reached her thighs, then swallowed her waist, her golden slit-pupils narrowing into slits of pure, languid indulgence as she leaned her elbows back against the smoothed marble rim.

Rosalind’s traveling silks pooled around her bare feet an instant later.

Paler than her mother, her ivory skin was smooth and unblemished, gleaming under the diffuse light with the pristine elegance of a Duchess, crowned by the steady, violet hum of the ring on her finger.

She turned to Azriel, catching the hem of his linen tunic between two fingers and tugging him forward with a playful tug.

"Still standing there, baby?" she teased, her voice a soft, velvet vibration against the rising steam.

"Or did the desert heat dry out your boldness?"

Azriel stripped away his clothes with a single, fluid pull.

The filtered sunlight slanting through the overhead lattice caught the dense, battle-scarred contours of his chest and shoulders.

Carved into his flesh across dozens of brutal dungeon dives, he had deliberately chosen not to erase them with high-tier healing draughts.

Every jagged seam was an earned trophy, an indelible record of his unrelenting grind.

Stepping down into the steaming basin, the searing mineral heat wrapped around his bruised muscles like a physical weight, drawing a low, guttural sigh from his throat.

The moment he walked down the stone floor and he settled onto the wide, submerged bench, both women converged on him.

Vesperia closed in from his right, resting a slick, manicured hand over his broad collarbone, letting her thumb trace the edge of the slave mark that the imperial envoy had stared at so helplessly.

Rosalind nestled closer against his left side, her ivory arms looping possessively around his neck while her plush breasts pressed flush against his ribs.

Beneath the rippling surface of the jade-tinted pool, her slender white tail slithered downward, curling around his thick thigh with a slow, hypnotic friction.

"Much better," Vesperia murmured from his right.

Her voice was like honey over gravel, warm breath puffing against the curve of his jaw as her manicured claws dragged deliberately down the hardened line of his trapezius, digging just enough to leave shallow, stinging red marks in the wet bronze skin.

Azriel turned his head, looking between the two stunning feline apexes who held the fate of an entire province in their palms.

The rising mineral steam clung to their wet eyelashes, veiling the hungry glint in their matching golden eyes.

"Looking at a bath this size," Azriel began, his voice dropping into a low, resonant rumble that vibrated through both their chests, "it feels like an absolute waste to merely soak."

Beneath the swirling water, his hands slid lower, tracing the supple dips of their waists until his calloused palms firmly cupped the slick, flared curves of their hips. His lips curled into a slow, challenging smirk.

"Why don’t we have some real fun?" he provoked softly.

He let the heavy silence hang between the columns of the bathhouse, the faint drip of water from the vaulted sandstone ceiling marking the passing seconds.

"Together."

The word dropped like an unshielded spark into dry tinder.

Azriel braced himself for the inevitable deflection.

Through months of grueling training, shared beds, and wild nights in the mountain estate, this had remained the single unbroken boundary.

Even after yielding their sovereign pride to him, taking his rings, and crying his name into the ruined pillows, the ancient ducal bloodline had drawn a line at sharing him in the very same breath.

A mother and daughter, the reigning Matriarch and the ruling Duchess of House Bastet, tangled beneath one hunter at the same time had been a step too taboo, a breach of decorum neither had been willing to entertain.

Azriel had never forced it.

He had always respected the boundary, taking their playful rejections with an easy grin, content to conquer them one by one.

Even now, he expected a mocking chuckle, a flick of an ear, or a sharp rebuke reminding him of his place.

Instead, the humid air within the pavilion froze.

Across Azriel’s broad chest, Vesperia and Rosalind’s gazes locked.

Golden slit-pupils met golden slit-pupils, carrying the silent weight of shared lineage, unexpressed desires, and the intoxicating madness that Azriel’s mere presence seemed to stoke in them.

Decades of matriarchal conditioning and pristine noble dignity were weighed against the raw, feral magnetism of the beastman holding them both by the waist.

A slow, identical curve lifted the corners of their lips, predatory, shameless, and utterly uninhibited.

Turning back to Azriel in flawless synchronization, their velvet voices chimed as one:

"Sure. Why not?"

The words struck Azriel like a physical jolt.

Beneath the heated mineral spring, the sudden, staggering surrender sent a violent pulse straight through his blood.

His cock snapped to stone-hard rigidity, surging with a furious, unbridled heat that brushed boldly against Rosalind’s trailing white tail.
