Chapter 1277: Chapter 857: Beastman

Bestar Continent.

Beastman Empire.

The Beastmen of this world are literally Beastmen, fundamentally different from the broad concept of Beastmen in the world Kana used to know.

They are not green-skinned, tusked races behaving like beasts, but races with animal traits, or simply upright beasts.

The culprit that allows this world to possess such a variety of races—the Stone of Creation, is the reason behind all non-human species.

The Beastman Empire can be said to be the last established among all racial nations.

The first nation, undoubtedly, was humans, because humans are the most primitive race in this world.

All other races came from humans changing through wishes, with a small portion arising from other creatures accidentally wishing for wisdom.

However, almost all mainstream races evolved from humans through wish transformation, so they can generally be classified as human subtypes.

Even though the upper echelons of these races understand this, no one would admit it.

Take Elves for example.

Even though Elves fall into different types, they are all equally proud of their identity.

From ancient times, the deeply researching Great Mage Elves have clearly understood that they branched from humans.

But do you expect them to admit it? That’s impossible.

Although humans were the earliest race to establish a nation, tracing back to extremely distant eras.

But that’s basically unimportant, as humans have never truly dominated the world.

In the apocalyptic prophecies of the future, it’s the foreign Dragon Race that dominates the world.

When the Dragon Race realized and left, it was the rising Elves who dominated the world.

Once the Elves started to weaken, humans began to thrive, but there are no records of them ever dominating.

Currently, the power of humans is basically equal to that of Elves, and the status of Elves as overlords is merely superficial.

The only reason humans have not dominated is that, as their power grew, each human nation had friction and gaps, unable to unite as one.

But if the Elves dared to make a significant mistake and truly start to dominate, that would be a different matter.

In this interval when human nations asserted independence, driving out Elf influence.

The Beastmen took advantage of the Dwarves’ southward migration to integrate and develop into a national power.

There are only three top-tier native races.

Humans, Elves, Dwarves.

The only reason Beastmen, with the capabilities of a second-tier race, could establish a vast nation and become the largest power on this continent is integration.

The first Beastman King adopted a strange concept for the time, integrating many races with animal traits.

Before him, there was no concept of Beastmen, or it was just a very broad term.

The races transformed from humans all had a trait of worshiping some natural phenomenon, and among their idolized totems or worshiped items lay the Stone of Creation.

Day by day worship turned the humanoid tribal groups’ wish into reality.

Both Elves and Dwarves were born in this manner, or rather such ancient races were all born this way.

At that time, humans worshipped some natural phenomenon, having their traditions, which were determined by the geographic environment of the time.

For example, the earliest Elves might have been humans living in dense jungles, hunting, living in peace with nature.

Worshiping the forest as a form of nature, they wished to move nimbly in the woods, hear nature’s voice, hope for sharp eyes and agile actions, and aspire to be formidable hunters.

These wishes coalesced, combined with the emerging Stone of Creation hidden in their possibly idolized totems, successfully wishing them.

The world’s will at that time directly extracted forms and information from other races in the Star Realm based on their wishes, freely transforming humans into this appearance, becoming Elves.

The same goes for Dwarves.

In primitive nature worship, a huge batch of nature worship was related to animals.

This batch of nature worship far exceeded some natural phenomena.

Moreover, worshiping a specific animal would be more concrete, more real than natural phenomena, easier to gather people’s expectations, and more likely to have a specific desire leading to a wish.

Be it a wolf pack, tigers, lions, wild oxen, elephants, or even rabbits.

They all had specific longings.

If the totem were a wolf pack, they wished to fight alongside wolves, possess the pack’s unity, hunting ability, discipline, sharp teeth, and the like.

Under such circumstances, if fortuitous wishing succeeded, then the Wolf Race would be born.

Thus, over countless years, similar human branches with animal traits became increasingly numerous.

Given animals as ordinary worship objects, after the Stone of Creation shattered, the phenomenon of its fragments descending began.

This phenomenon started to erupt.

Because as long as one possessed animal traits, perhaps just one fragment of the Stone of Creation could allow a small tribe to succeed in gaining such traits and bloodlines.

It was much simpler compared to turning directly into Elves or Dwarves, it wasn’t even the same Level.

Therefore, humanoid sub-races with animal traits directly became a massive group.

It can be said that if these massive groups were integrated into one race, their number would definitely only trail humans.
