Chapter 1311: Chapter 873: Audience

Abyss.

Under the guidance of Abis, the diplomatic delegation entered the central castle.

They had explored the entire fortress and gained a basic understanding of the Blood Pit Fortress.

The heavy oak doors silently closed behind Abis, isolating the faint commotion within the fortress.

The delegates stepped into a spacious and bright room, contrasting gently with the fortress’s rough utilitarian exterior.

This was one of the core meeting rooms of the Blood Pit Fortress.

Light streamed through the purifying crystals set in the vaulted ceiling, softly illuminating a massive, polished obsidian round table in the center.

The tabletop was covered with a neat silver-red velvet cloth, complementing several neatly arranged documents.

Someone was already waiting beside the round table.

Raelia, the commander depicted numerous times in the Blood War Fortress intel about emissaries, sat straight and vigilant at the head position.

Beside her was the silent but sharp-eyed Grey Fang, and a lady dressed as an Elf—Annabelle, who stood quietly in a corner, like a guard blended into the shadows.

Since their last arrival, they had never left the Abyss, assisting Raelia with the related matters of Blood Pit Fortress.

"Welcome to Blood Pit Fortress," Raelia stood up, her voice clear and steady, imbued with a soldier’s frankness.

Years of experience as a Night Watcher had long shaped Raelia into what she was now.

Her gaze swept over the four guests, lingering briefly on Sofia without showing any expression.

She just didn’t expect to see a Half-Demon in Blood War Fortress.

"The journey has been arduous. I am Night Watcher Commander Raelia."

She introduced her companions one by one.

"Order guides the way, Commander Raelia."

Aryan placed his right hand on his chest, giving a ceremonial inter-plane diplomatic nod; behind him, Gron, Sofia, and Node-07 each made their own salutations.

Aryan, as the captain, spoke: "We have come by decree from the Blood War Fortress Commander’s Joint Meeting, representing the headquarters of the Alliance Army and the warriors of All Realms Alliance, to offer our deepest respect and gratitude to the founding dignitary, Venerable Kana, and the Night Watcher warriors who fight bravely here."

His voice was steady, carrying the rhythmic elegance unique to Elves.

Elves are adept at handling such diplomatic relationships, especially in slightly formal occasions; it is almost etched into their very essence.

Even in this Blood Battle Battlefield, in a place of iron and blood, Elves can still exhibit such demeanor.

"Your Blood Pit Fortress has rooted itself in this chaotic abyss like a flower of Order blossoming from the rock, its influence far-reaching as the stars in twilight."

Aryan continued, his words solemn and earnest.

"It is not only the frontline bastion against the demon tide but also a reliable refuge after bloody battles, much like a beacon in the darkness, reigniting the will and hope of countless Alliance soldiers on the 1121st layer and adjacent battle zones. The significance of this cannot be adequately described in words; the Blood War Fortress holds these achievements with profound gratitude."

It might sound like flattery, but it truly is not.

For warriors engaged in battles within the Abyss, hearing such words would not be denied, they would even nod in approval.

Because it is indeed true.

The establishment and continuity of Blood Pit Fortress are fundamentally important.

Gron nodded appreciatively, adding in a coarse voice: "Indeed! Seeing these White Walls, even my old bones feel like they can still chop off a few more abyssal lord’s claws!"

Well, even with the Elves’ formal introduction, for Dwarves, a bit of ruggedness and freedom cannot be avoided.

Raelia nodded slightly, her face showing a sincere smile: "Protecting Order, eradicating Chaos is one of the goals of us Night Watchers. It is an honor to stand alongside warriors of Order in such a filthy place. We appreciate your goodwill."

Formal words like these Raelia could effortlessly say.

After the formal greetings and compliments, the atmosphere relaxed slightly but still retained a business-like formality.

Aryan proceeded to the main topic, adjusting his posture with a more solemn expression: "Commander Raelia, to be frank, aside from paying our respects and conducting an investigation, we have an extremely important request closely related to your power."

He opened his hands, his tone carrying the honesty under pressure: "Our Blood War Fortress, positioned at the critical frontline, sends personnel and supplies to the Abyss front lines year-round, with an increasing burden.

"Especially in logistics, as the journey is long, and demon assaults are constant, even with the support from the All Realms Commerce Association, and despite excellent potions, reliable arrows, and high-energy supplies, the stability and quantity of the supply remain ever as a sword hanging overhead."

Aryan’s gaze was sincere as he looked at Raelia: "I’ve heard that your fortress, although besieged by demons, boasts ample supplies thanks to the divine might of Venerable Kana and the extraordinary power of the Night Watchers, with a rear supply system that is a marvel.

"Thus, on behalf of the Blood War Fortress Joint Meeting, we earnestly hope to purchase specific military supplies from you without affecting your defense or touching your boundaries.

"Especially battlefield emergency potions, high-level Demon-Breaking/Armor-Piercing arrow core components, and certain high-density combat rations."

The elaboration had already made the dwarves’ heads in the team swell, forcing them to tilt their heads and try not to listen.

Expecting Dwarves to comprehend or articulate such words would be overly demanding.
