Chapter 1349: Chapter 890: Overwhelming Destruction (Part 3)

The command was short and powerful.

Gigantic tower shields overlapped, forming a mobile steel barrier, forcibly smashing and crushing the twisted monsters blocking the path.

In the gaps, long spears glinted coldly like venomous snakes, striking precisely at the joints of Void Creatures, the crevices between crystal clusters, or the weakened armor spots dimmed by the Pyramid’s brilliance.

"Squelch! Crunch!"

The sound of spear tips piercing flesh and shattering crystalline armor was relentless.

An Infected Rock Armor Beast roared and charged, its massive rocky claws slamming onto the Shield Wall with a "boom!" The shield dented, the Shield Warrior’s grip fractured, spraying blood, yet they held firm.

The spear-wielders nearby seized the opportunity, several long spears simultaneously thrusting from different angles into its rocky carapace’s eroded purple crystalline sections!

"Roar—!"

The Rock Armor Beast let out a painful howl, its movements halted.

The Shield Warrior at the rear roared as they stepped up, forcibly driving the massive creature to stagger back, then it was engulfed by more spears.

"Daniel’s squad! Follow me! There’s a tough spot there!" Marsha’s clear and murderous voice resounded.

She stood on a slightly elevated scorched slope, her composite bow drawn to a full moon.

An arrow entwined with Wind Element and Armor-Breaking Rune flew "whoosh," accurately pinning the gap between the compound eyes of a huge "High Tier Rift Tearer" wielding crystalline scythe forelimbs.

The monster winced in pain, its movements stalled.

Daniel roared as he smashed through the Low Level Clawed Beasts, leaping high, his War Axe carrying immense power, "boom" onto the wound Marsha had targeted!

Crack—clang!

The axe blade embedded deeply, the frenzied power burst through the crack, shattering half of the Tearer’s skull along with the crystal of its compound eyes.

Thick, purple-black energy syrup gushed like a fountain.

"Nicely done, Marsha!"

Daniel landed, panting heavily, his chest heaving violently.

The old wounds on him no longer stung under the Order’s glow, but the new claw marks were oozing blood.

Fercheck climbed like a gecko onto the remains of a crystal cluster bug nearby, deftly severing several Void Energy tendrils trying to entangle a fallen Warrior with a dagger.

"Save your breath for later! There’s more behind!"

Lya’s voice came through, an icy nova blossomed at her Magic Staff’s tip, instantly freezing several acid-eating beetles trying to ambush from the flank, clearing the way for the charging troops.

Behind this overwhelming flood of destruction, the Night Watcher Engineer Corps worked with jaw-dropping efficiency.

They were no longer the supporting cast of the battlefield but the forgers of victory.

The gigantic Alchemy Vehicles — "Foundation" platform truck roared over the still-smoking scorched earth, its tracks crushing fragmented crystal remains and monster limbs.

"Module A-7 in place! Move the arm three degrees left!"

"Energy conduit connected! Quick! Input stable rune sequence!"

The engineers’ voices transmitted clearly across the noisy battlefield through Magic Guide communicators.

The massive mechanical arm creaked with hydraulic sounds, precisely hoisting the heavy alloy prefab slabs, edges engraved with complex runes, into place.

"Force Field Generator activated! Shield nodes— parallel!"

Amidst the hum, a pale golden Energy Barrier rose like ripples from the newly installed module’s edges, rapidly merging with adjacent module shields to form a broader, stable protective dome.

Craftsmen wielding rune welding guns worked like busy ants at the module seams, spraying bright blue-white sparks, high temperatures instantly fusing the metal with a "sizzle" sound and a distinctive burnt odor.

"Foundation reinforcement! Inject curing magic liquid!"

Engineer Soldiers holding thick metal pipes inserted the nozzle into the scorched earth, an adhesive liquid emitting Earth Element fluctuations was high-pressure injected underground.

The ground wriggled and hardened like a living thing, instantly providing a solid foundation for the newly born steel barrier.

"Quicker! Quicker! We’re racing against time!"

A Dwarf engineer captain covered in oil stains stood on a command vehicle, waving a wrench and shouting.

His target was the twisted, temporarily dormant Void Rift ahead.

This steel defense line rising from the ground was like a giant tightening noose, steadfastly advancing toward the "wound of the world."

Each module’s placement, each shield’s illumination, was Order’s declaration against chaos, every step pushing the Abyss back into its lair.
