Chun thinks for a moment: "I’ve got an Andariel Divine Artifact-level Soul Artifact mirror. I can go Out-of-Body into its consciousness—would that work?"

Aileen says: "That would definitely work, but the hard part is entering its consciousness. This is a bat that’s lived for over a thousand years; it’s definitely insanely strong. And besides, compared to it, the little bat in Iron Flame Village is basically a kid. Will it listen to a kid chatting with it?"

Chun has to ask Yatnass, who’s currently scanning blueprints: "Got any ideas?"

It’s actually a powerful bat that died abnormally in a slow chronic way, evolved into a zombie bat, then mineralized and was reborn. It simultaneously has traits of Undead and Elemental Creatures, can be sustained by absorbing Death Qi and minerals, and its offense, defense, Magic resistance, and Invisibility are all absurdly strong. It’s a very rare and powerful bat species, only occasionally recorded in mineral-rich volcanic regions, also known as ’Hell Envoy’. It can be dealt with using Holy Light Purification Magic."

Yatnass says: "Yes. The craving for fresh blood is a common trait of Undead."

Angel Spirit Bodies move and grow via the Void plane; Undead use the Undead plane. The Void plane’s dimensions and energy level are higher than the Undead plane’s, so Angels generally have an advantage over Undead on an individual level. But Spirit energy in the Undead plane is very dense, so it can spawn huge numbers of Undead creatures—that’s a numbers advantage. Elemental Creatures don’t have a clear advantage over Angels or Undead, but the Elemental Plane is the foundation that makes up the world and is everywhere. It’s the most universal energy source for Mages."

Chun asks again: "So what tier of strength is this Crystal Bat right now?"

Yatnass says: "Unable to determine. Undead also have a sleep trait. Once they enter a sleep state, even if it’s an Undead God, it’s hard to detect."

Chun is stunned: "It’s literally moving and sucking blood. That counts as sleep?"

Aileen thinks for a bit: "We might only be able to use sound-wave language that bats can understand. I’ll contact Bilenna and have the little Crystal Bat say ’Master Chun’ first."

Chun spots another problem: "But what you’re using is sound waves, and my Vine can only type words."

Aileen says: "I’m the Mirror God, remember? I can convert sound waves into light waves."

Da Chun Khan says awkwardly: "But I’m just a Vine. I might not be able to write the light waves you convert."

Aileen is troubled too: "This... anyway, let’s have them transmit it over first and then talk."

But for the sake of recruiting one bat monster whose real strength I don’t even know, I’m going to personally learn a whole language?
