Chapter 811: The Fourth Layer.
This time, he didn’t take the rank 5 cultivators to the world barrier before taking their mutated Life Abilities. This was because he was confident in being able to deal with any divine being who came to him looking for trouble.
Besides, he believed that the divine beings were currently too busy to deal with him because of the upcoming war and the elders’ meeting. So he was brazen as he grabbed rank 5 cultivators from the street and removed their Power Cores.
After he got what he wanted from them, he would devour their bodies completely. Then he would move on to the next target.
Once he had gotten what he wanted, which was 12 mutated Life Abilities, he left the first heaven and returned to the Central Domain. Then he began creating new Divine Positions.
This time, what he was doing was noticed by other divine beings. In fact, they noticed him as soon as he began the attempt to create the first Divine Position. But they were busy with their meetings, so they ignored him.
However, they had to pay attention to him again because he created the second Divine Position. When he created the third Divine Position, no one could dismiss him anymore.
Everyone forgot what they were talking about in their meetings to pay attention to him. So they noticed that even though he was creating Divine Positions and pulling them into his Cave Heaven, the number of stars in his Cave Heaven didn’t increase.
From the looks of things, he still had one Divine Position. While they were wondering why this was the case, he created the fourth Divine Position.
At this point, everyone stood up to stare at him in disbelief. They had to do this because, combined with the one Divine Position he had before he began all of these, he should have five Divine Positions now.
For many divine beings, this would be the first confirmed case of one of them being in control of five Divine Positions. So they felt impressed by witnessing history being made.
But not everyone was impressed with his actions. Some of them had seen something like this before, and it only brought a feeling of dread to them. Then those who had experienced something like this before chose to leave the Blessed Heaven World as soon as possible.
It was some of the rank 8 divine beings who chose to leave the Blessed Heaven World. These divine beings didn’t care that they would have to pay a fine of 100 divine merit points for leaving the meeting early.
However, what they were worried about didn’t happen. Even when Loki created the fifth Divine Position, no giant black hand tore down through the sky to strike him for being a greedy dragon.
This was because he was devouring the Divine Positions as soon as they entered his Cave Heaven. By devouring them, he was destroying them. Since he wasn’t actively using them, they didn’t count towards the limit that the sect had set for every divine being.
Unfortunately for him, this couldn’t continue for long. By the time he created the eighth Divine Position, the Dao Lord had been alerted to his antics. After all, it was very rare that their Supreme Metac would be used to create so many Divine Positions in such a short amount of time.
Only one Dao Lord was alarmed by his behavior. This Dao Lord wanted to see exactly what was going on, so they tore a rift through the first dimension of the Sea of Worlds and looked through it to peer at him.
When this Dao Lord appeared, they saw nothing worthy of alarm. From the look of things, a little dragon had snuck into the sect and was trying, but failing to create Divine Positions.
He would like to know why the dragon had remained unknown till this point. Aside from this, there didn’t seem to be anything worthy of attention.
But then something changed about the little dragon. For an unknown reason, the little dragon caught fire.
The little Dragon’s entire body was covered by golden flames. The golden flames burned across his body and made him melt like wax.
When the Dao Lord saw this, his frivolous attitude disappeared, and he became serious. Even though the dragon had stopped creating Divine Positions, the Dao Lord felt that the situation had gone out of hand. So the Dao Lord manifested a hand to grab the little dragon.
This manifested hand possessed a power that was very much weaker than its full power. But it had the advantage of being stealthy, so it wouldn’t alert the other Dao Lords and draw their attention to what was going on. This way, the matter could be settled without their interference.
Down below, Loki was experiencing a transformation of a lifetime. It all started when he devoured the eighth Divine Position.
Each time he devoured a Divine Position, Fenrir sent it to create the fourth layer in the force organ. A single Divine Position could only outline 12.5% of the fourth layer. So he needed eight Divine Metacs to complete the outline.
As it turned out, he was right to believe that he needed eight Divine Positions to create the fourth layer. This made him excited beyond words, but he didn’t dwell too much on being right about this.
He allowed him to smile to indulge in being right. But while he was smiling, he was already filling up the space within the newly created fourth layer.
He converted lifespan into force units as quickly as he could manage it. And when he ran out of lifespan, he consumed the world essence he had gained from looting worlds these past few days.
With his lifespan topped up, he continued to create more force units. Then he used the force units to fill up the fourth layer.
In total, he needed 900,000 force units to fill up the fourth layer. So he consumed a total of 90,000,000 years of lifespan for it.
