Yin Ruxue was a little confused. ’Why would she invite me over and then not be here herself?’

Although Su Qingci’s mother was now in her forties, she looked as if she were still in her thirties.

Her father wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and a well-fitting suit.

The man who had been sitting silently on the sofa also stood up.

"Uncle, Auntie, I have something to attend to, so I’ll be leaving now."

She hadn’t expected today to be a blind date.

Yin Ruxue stopped but didn’t turn around. "I’m married. My child is already in elementary school."

After saying that, she left the Su Family home without another moment’s hesitation.

Seeing him still shouting, Father Su stood up and smacked him on the back of the head.

"Enough! Stop embarrassing yourself! You’re disgracing your mother and me along with you."

"We’ve lived our whole lives with integrity, yet today we had to trick a young woman into coming to our home."

"But Mom, Dad, I really love her."

"It’s a classic case of unrequited love. If you have what it takes, pursue her yourself. Don’t ask us to help you again. We can’t afford this embarrassment."

"Has Xue ever been so impolite before? Would she ever leave in the middle of a meal?"

"Can’t you see things clearly?"

"This time, it was our fault, and your sister’s fault. If she hadn’t come up with this terrible idea, today’s situation never would have happened."

Mrs. Su sighed.

Just then, Su Qingci happened to call. "How did it go, Bro? Were you successful?"

"Let me tell you, that guy is a total scumbag. He’s actually cheating on Xue, having dinner with another woman."

"Win her over? Bullshit! Get your ass back here now."

Mrs. Su snatched the phone, said her piece, and hung up.

On the other end, Su Qingci was stunned. She couldn’t help but turn to look at Jiang Fan and Rong Anyao in the distance.

The two of them were laughing and joking, drinking one glass after another, having a great time.

"Hmph, scumbag!"

After muttering the curse, Su Qingci hailed a cab and left.

Rong Anyao saw her leave and nudged Jiang Fan.

"She’s gone."

"Let her. I don’t know what got into her today. She made me repay a favor and insisted on spending the whole day with me."

"She followed me everywhere I went."

"I had no choice but to stay cooped up in the office all day."

"But it’s fine now. The favor is repaid."

By now, Jiang Fan had eaten and drunk his fill.

The driver was actually more confused than he was.

’Well, since I’m here, I might as well stay.’ It wasn’t like he couldn’t sleep here.

He pushed open the door and walked into the villa, finding Mengmeng nestled in Yin Ruxue’s arms, murmuring something to her.

When she saw Jiang Fan arrive, a wronged look on her face, Mengmeng ran and threw herself into his arms.
