Besides the computer, the entire streaming area had a cartoon-themed rug on the floor. Behind her, a shelf displayed Rong Anyao’s handmade crafts and some figurines. Her chair, keyboard, and microphone were all a matching set of light blue. The space wasn’t large, but it felt very comfortable.

Beyond the streaming setup, the rest of the room was also decorated in a cartoon style and was neat and tidy.

“Yaoyao, just get some good rest today. Don’t stream!” Jiang Fan said.

Rong Anyao nodded. She probably noticed Jiang Fan’s awkwardness and suddenly said, “Jiang, do you play games? Besides making crafts and singing, I also stream games.”

Jiang Fan scratched his head and said, “I play a little now and then!”

“Then do you play *Honor of Kings*?”

“I do!”

When Jiang Fan lived with Wu Qiang, *Honor of Kings* was Wu Qiang’s favorite game. He’d even try to hit on girls in the game sometimes. When he had time off, Jiang Fan would join him for a match or two.

Most of the time, however, he was paying off his debts.

“I only play occasionally. I’m not very good!”

“It’s fine. Just play a few games with me, okay?”

Seeing the look of anticipation on Rong Anyao’s face, Jiang Fan couldn’t bring himself to refuse.

Besides, with just the two of them, a man and a woman, alone in a room, it was awkward for Jiang Fan to just leave. It seemed like not finding something to do would be just as bad.

“Alright, but don’t blame me if I suck,” Jiang Fan said.

“Okay. What’s your rank?”

“I think it’s Venerable Star Brilliance!”

Although Jiang Fan wasn’t very skilled himself, he usually played with Wu Qiang. That guy’s skills were god-tier, and girls were always adding him as a friend.

But Wu Qiang often got heated. When he encountered less-skilled female players, he’d sometimes flame them a bit. That was why he was still single and had never found a partner on *Honor of Kings*.

“I’ll use my smurf account to play ranked with you then!” Rong Anyao said, pulling out her phone.

Jiang Fan nodded and sat down on the edge of Rong Anyao’s bed.

Soon, Jiang Fan logged into his account.

Rong Anyao leaned right over and used Jiang Fan’s phone to add herself as a friend in the game.

Jiang Fan felt a little awkward, because Rong Anyao was now leaning over the edge of the bed. She was already wearing her Diao Chan “Purple Gold” cosplay outfit, which perfectly accentuated her figure.

From this angle, Jiang Fan got a perfect view.

He had to admit, Rong Anyao had an amazing figure—curvy in all the right places. Especially with her ample chest and the scent of her perfume, it was utterly bewitching.

A girl like Rong Anyao could just stand in her stream room and do nothing and still be a wildly popular streamer based on her looks alone.

Jiang Fan couldn’t help but gulp. ‘She has to be doing this on purpose,’ he suspected.

In no time, Rong Anyao had added him as a friend and created a game lobby.

Jiang Fan saw that Rong Anyao was actually a Strongest King. And he remembered she had just said this was her smurf account.

‘Looks like her rank is really high,’ he thought.

“Jiang, what role do you play? I can fill,” Rong Anyao said.

“Uh… I’ll just play support. I can play Zhuang Zhou or Yao!”

“Huh? Guys play Yao?”

“Of course! I’m a great Yao player!”

“Alright then, I’ll play a mage!”

When Jiang Fan used to play with Wu Qiang, Wu Qiang would often play jungler and carry the team, while Jiang Fan played support and just coasted. That’s how he’d gotten to his Venerable Star Brilliance rank.

Of course, he could play some marksmen too, but Rong Anyao was a Strongest King. Jiang Fan felt there was no need to embarrass himself with his own skill level.

Soon, they had selected their heroes. For the first match, Jiang Fan picked Yao, because he felt that playing Zhuang Zhou right off the bat would make him seem like too much of a freeloader.

Rong Anyao, on the other hand, picked Diao Chan for the first match—the same Diao Chan with the “Purple Gold” skin as her cosplay outfit.

Looking at Rong Anyao, Jiang Fan felt as if the game and reality had merged into one.

The game started quickly. Drawing on his experience, Jiang Fan bought a support item and then stuck to Rong Anyao from the very beginning, never leaving her side.

“Jiang, I got First Blood.”

Rong Anyao said with a smile, just one minute into the game.

Jiang Fan hadn’t expected Rong Anyao’s skills to be this good. The game had just started, and the two of them had already caught the enemy support off guard in the mid-lane brush to secure First Blood.

With that, Jiang Fan decided to just stick with Rong Anyao the whole time.

Jiang Fan figured that while he might not have Wu Qiang’s talent for gaming, his emotional intelligence was definitely on another level.

In his view, winning or losing the game was secondary; the most important thing was to make sure Rong Anyao had fun.

So, from the moment the game began, Jiang Fan followed Rong Anyao without ever leaving her side.

“Jiang, I think the marksman in the bottom lane is flaming you. He’s saying you’re not sticking with him.”

“Don’t worry about him. Just focus on farming. I believe in you.”

“Okay!”

“Jiang, I think the jungler is flaming you now, too. He’s telling you to stop following me.”

“It’s fine, Yaoyao. Let’s just do our own thing. Their skills clearly aren’t as good as yours. As long as you get farmed, we’ll definitely win.”

“Okay!”

Jiang Fan wasn’t just flattering her. He had been following Rong Anyao for seven or eight minutes, and her gold quickly became the highest in the game. The gap between her and the player with the second-highest gold was almost two thousand.

In less than ten minutes, Jiang Fan’s team had a total of ten kills. Rong Anyao had seven kills and two assists, while Jiang Fan himself had one kill and eight assists.

Playing Diao Chan in the mid lane, Rong Anyao could not only dive the enemy tower to kill the opposing mage, but she also had the awareness to gank the top and bottom lanes, taking down the Tyrant and the Overlord along the way.

In Jiang Fan’s opinion, Rong Anyao not only had great mechanics, but her game sense was excellent, too. She was every bit as good as Wu Qiang.

Just past the ten-minute mark, with the help of Jiang Fan’s Yao, Rong Anyao had already crushed the enemy team. The kill score was 16-3, and twelve of those kills belonged to her.

“Damn, that’s insane! The Diao Chan is hard carrying!”

“This Diao Chan’s game sense is insane. No wonder Yao is following her!”

“They’re a duo. Since someone’s carrying, we can just sit back and enjoy the free win!”

“I apologize to Yao. I shouldn’t have flamed him earlier!”

Soon, their teammates had started chatting amongst themselves.

Unsurprisingly, just past the twelve-minute mark, they won the game, with Rong Anyao carrying the entire team.

“Jiang, we won!”

Rong Anyao was so happy she nearly jumped up and down on the bed, seeming to have completely forgotten the unpleasantness from before.

“Holy crap, Yaoyao, you’re way too good! With skills like that, you could totally be a professional game streamer.”
