Chapter 2631 - 2630: Entering the Xuanxu Realm

Ling Feng indeed hadn’t expected Huo Huo to be so forward.

Ling Feng nodded, called out Little Jin, and then the two jumped onto its back and flew towards the surface of the Demon Star.

The entrance to the Xuanxu Realm was on this Demon Star. Halfway there, they passed the Demon Clan leader’s house and stopped briefly.

The leader was both happy and concerned about his daughter leaving with Ling Feng, but restrained himself in Ling Feng’s presence, only cautioning his daughter to be careful after entering the Xuanxu Realm.

Then he proposed accompanying them, and they all climbed onto Little Jin’s back.

Little Jin soared through the air once more, heading to the far northern reaches of the Demon Star.

Upon nearing their destination, Ling Feng used his Divine Sense to see a vast vortex amidst an expanse of darkness, where the black mist gently swirled.

"That’s the entrance to the Xuanxu Realm," said the Demon Clan leader.

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, aware this was a space-time vortex leading to the Xuanxu Realm.

However, it was an independent space, still a mystery within the universe.

Upon arriving near the vortex, Little Jin landed, and the Demon Clan leader continued to Ling Feng, "Mister Ling, the vortex requires a secret script to activate. Please remember it, as it might be useful when returning."

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, memorizing the secret script as the vortex activated.

Facing separation, the Demon Clan leader gazed sadly at his daughter and said, "Remember, stay safe!"

"Understood."

Huo Huo felt uneasy but opted for Ling Feng over her father.

The golden vortex now blazed brilliantly. Ling Feng took her hand and stepped inside.

To his surprise, he passed through, but Huo Huo’s hand was stuck, unable to move an inch!

"What’s happening?"

Ling Feng was bewildered, utterly bemused.

Huo Huo was equally puzzled, not knowing what went wrong.

The Demon Clan leader rushed over, wide-eyed, asking, "Daughter, your bloodline!"

"Huh?"

Huo Huo jolted, suddenly understanding as her face turned pale!

At this moment, Ling Feng still held her wrist and checked her body, discovering she was nourishing a new life!

"It’s not about the bloodline; she’s already pregnant with my child!"

Ling Feng said seriously.

Though puzzled by the swiftness, he knew Huo Huo had been a virgin, so this new life was their recent creation!

Her pregnancy with a human child meant the strict bloodline passage barred her entry!

Their original plan to search for the Demon Star’s offspring in the Xuanxu Realm was now impossible, leaving Huo Huo deeply disappointed.

Ling Feng, too, felt helpless, comforting, "Don’t worry, you should stay. I’ll return quickly!"

"I suppose that’s the only option."

Huo Huo lifted her head, staring intensely at him, "Be safe inside. I’ll be waiting for you, till whenever!"

Touched, Ling Feng stepped out of the vortex and hugged her, "Alright, I’ll return soon. Wait for me!"

"Don’t worry, Mister Ling, I’ll take care of Huo Huo and your child!" assured the Demon Clan leader.

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, without more sentiment, he nodded again and stepped back into the vortex.

Suddenly, with a flash of white light, he was teleported away.

After a moment of illumination, Ling Feng found himself in a wide valley.

Turning back, he saw a white vortex, a massive white mist slowly spinning.

Still feeling lost, Ling Feng took a deep breath and surveyed his surroundings.

Just then, a dozen people rushed over, wielding long spears and short daggers, encircling him!

Surprised, Ling Feng noticed they were not of the Demon Clan but regular humans!

Faced with them, Ling Feng dryly chuckled, "Who are you?"

Despite an answer, they spoke in an unfamiliar tongue.

Ling Feng thought, alright, another language to learn.

Minutes later, amidst their chaotic chatter, he gradually mastered the language, smiling, "Don’t worry, I mean no harm!"

His sudden speech startled them.

The leader immediately asked, "Who exactly are you?"

"I come from another world, searching for someone. Are you guarding this space-time vortex?" Ling Feng asked.

"That’s right, we’re the Town-Nation Army, guarding this forbidden space. No one may trespass!" the man said.

Ling Feng uttered an "Oh," saying, "But not long ago, someone broke in, right? Where is he?"

"You must be one of the Demon Clan!"

On hearing this, the man instantly pressed his spear to Ling Feng’s chest!
