Chapter 151: The Destruction of Seoul

Lightnova flew at incredible speed, slicing through one of the mutated birds.

The other birds began scattering and forming a formation.

Lightnova looked shocked when she saw this.

"They can form a formation!? They have abilities like that?"

Lightnova turned around and accelerated even more.

But this time, the birds simply let her pass, dodging out of her path.

They knew that Lightnova couldn’t stop immediately when moving at the speed of light.

"W-What!?"

Realizing what had happened, Lightnova couldn’t stop in time and crashed hard into the asphalt.

Seeing an opportunity to attack, the birds flew rapidly toward Lightnova.

They opened their mouths and fired balls of fire.

The newly risen Lightnova looked startled and summoned her light sword into her hand.

She immediately swung it, slicing through the fireballs.

However, one of them managed to slip past Lightnova’s slash, hitting her body and exploding.

She was sent tumbling across the ground.

"Ugh... Damn it... There are too many of them."

She turned toward the flock of birds.

Several more birds were beginning to appear.

Right at that moment, a gigantic orc-like monster appeared. Its body was brown and covered in fur, and it was enormous—almost the size of a house.

The monster had red eyes, just like the others.

It waved its hand, causing the mutated birds to move aside.

After the birds moved away, the monster turned toward Lightnova.

"Ugh... Another monster...? This really never ends..."

The monster began walking toward Lightnova.

With every step it took, the ground trembled, showing just how massive its body was.

"Hah..."

Blood began flowing down from Lightnova’s forehead.

Right at that moment, a flash of shadow appeared, tearing through the monster’s body and head.

The monster screamed in pain.

Seeing that, Lightnova immediately realized something.

A voice came from beside her.

A familiar female voice.

Lightnova turned toward her.

It was Na Yerin, also known as Nightwolf.

She wore a black costume adorned with soft wolf fur.

"Na Yerin!?"

Nightwolf waved half of her hand toward Lightnova with a smile.

"I heard from the director that Seoul is being attacked by a horde of mutated monsters."

"Was your area not attacked at all?"

"Of course not. I don’t know what’s happening either, but every area besides Seoul wasn’t attacked at all. This means they’re trying to bring Seoul down."

"I think so too..."

Lightnova turned toward the monster.

Several wolf-shaped shadows could be seen attacking the monster, leaving it completely helpless.

Lightnova looked exhausted.

Her body felt like it was about to collapse.

But Nightwolf helped her stand.

"You can rest for a while. Reinforcements have arrived."

Nightwolf said that calmly.

A beautiful young woman with short black hair.

Jinhoo’s house was on fire.

The surrounding area was covered with numerous signs of battle.

With that, Jinhoo immediately ran inside the house, even though it was engulfed in roaring flames.
