The Heroines Can Hear My and the Protagonist's Inner Voice!?

Chapter 101: The Heroines Breakthrough

Chapter 101: The Heroines Breakthrough

"Congratulations."

Shen Tian looked around at the women sitting before him, a satisfied smile on his face.

"All of you have officially entered the Body Tempering Realm. So... How do you feel?"

The women slowly looked down at their own bodies.

They could feel it.

Every muscle.

Every breath.

Every heartbeat.

Their bodies felt lighter, stronger, and filled with an unfamiliar surge of power.

It was unlike anything they had ever experienced.

Bai Xue was the first to jump to her feet.

"No way..."

She clenched her fist before throwing a punch into the air.

Whoosh!

A visible gust of wind burst from the swing.

Her eyes widened.

"I actually created wind!"

She laughed excitedly before throwing another punch.

Then another.

Soon she was shadowboxing around the living room, each strike producing a faint whistle through the air.

"This is amazing!"

The others couldn’t resist any longer.

Ling Shuangxue tested her grip, accidentally crushing the armrest of the couch.

"Oops."

Chu Mei lightly hopped into the air...

Only to nearly hit the ceiling.

"Whoa!"

Ruan Yizhen stared at her own hands.

"I feel like I could lift a car..."

Chu Chuchu excitedly picked up the solid wooden coffee table with one hand.

"This used to weigh a ton!"

Even Qin Ruobing couldn’t hide the surprise on her face.

"I’ve never felt this... alive."

Watching everyone’s reactions, Shen Tian nodded in satisfaction.

"Good. This is only the beginning. The Body Tempering Realm is merely the first step. From here on... You’ll continue becoming stronger."

As everyone was enjoying their newfound strength...

Qin Ruobing quietly walked over.

A sly, fox-like smile appeared on her face.

She leaned close enough that only Shen Tian could hear.

"So... With all of us becoming stronger..."

She smiled teasingly.

"You’re going to have a much harder time keeping up with your wives."

Shen Tian chuckled.

"I’ll manage."

Qin Ruobing simply smiled, clearly amused by his confidence.

Before either of them could continue...

Ring... Ring...

Bai Xue’s phone rang.

She answered immediately.

"...Hello?"

As she listened...

Her expression darkened.

"What?"

She slowly lowered the phone.

"Zhuge Daxun’s men are attacking my territory."

Everyone’s expressions became serious.

Bai Xue frowned.

"That shouldn’t be possible. Our enforcer has been holding them back all afternoon. Unless..."

Shen Tian narrowed his eyes.

"Unless they gained another powerhouse."

He immediately thought of someone.

"They got Yun Wanhe. He must’ve officially joined Zhuge Daxun earlier than we expected."

Bai Xue’s eyes widened.

"That explains everything."

Shen Tian stood up.

"Everyone else stays here."

He looked toward Bai Xue.

"You. You’re coming with me."

Bai Xue nodded without hesitation.

"Got it."

. . .

At that very moment...

Inside one of Bai Xue’s bars...

Chaos had erupted.

CRASH!

Another thug was thrown across the room, smashing through a table.

Yun Wanhe stood calmly in the center of the bar.

Around him...

Bodies littered the floor.

Anyone who charged at him was effortlessly defeated.

Some were knocked unconscious with a single punch.

Others were sent flying with a kick.

No one could stop him.

Standing nearby, a masked enforcer stared in disbelief.

"Who are you?"

Yun Wanhe casually grabbed another thug by the collar before tossing him aside.

He glanced back.

"I’m your boss’s new brother. I’m here to save your ass."

The masked enforcer’s eyes widened.

Then...

He laughed.

"So that’s why the boss told us to hold out. Bai Xue’s enforcer was giving us some difficulty!"

He tightened his grip on his weapon.

"Then I can’t let the new guy do all the work."

With renewed determination, he charged back into the fight.

Together...

The two completely overwhelmed the remaining defenders.

Only a few minutes later...

The bar fell silent.

Yun Wanhe looked around.

"Is that everyone?"

The masked enforcer nodded.

"It should be."

He walked toward the back kitchen.

"Our intelligence says there’s something hidden back here."

Reaching an old storage room...

He planted his foot against a reinforced wooden door.

BOOM!

The door flew open.

A foul chemical smell immediately poured out.

Yun Wanhe frowned.

"Drugs."

The two descended the narrow staircase into the basement.

Rows of tables filled the room.

Illegal drugs were stacked everywhere.

Workers froze the moment they saw them.

One by one...

They immediately raised their hands.

"We surrender!"

"Please don’t hit us!"

The masked enforcer looked around before smiling beneath his mask.

"The boss was right. There really was a drug operation hidden here."

Yun Wanhe slowly walked through the basement.

Seeing dozens of people kneeling before him...

A strange feeling stirred within him.

It had been a very long time...

Since so many people had bowed their heads in fear before him.

For some reason...

He found himself enjoying it.

He turned toward the enforcer.

"Call everyone. Empty this place. We’re taking everything."

The enforcer nodded.

"Understood."

He immediately sent out a message.

Less than a minute later...

Heavy footsteps echoed from upstairs.

Dozens of Zhuge Daxun’s men hurried into the basement carrying large storage containers.

Yun Wanhe folded his arms.

"Be careful. None of this is cheap. If you break anything... you’re paying for it."

The men immediately straightened.

"Yes, Brother Wanhe!"

They carefully began loading every crate, every package, and every piece of equipment into the containers.

Once everything had been loaded into the vans...

Yun Wanhe and Zhuge Daxun’s men left the bar.

The flashing police lights they had expected never came.

Instead...

The street remained eerily quiet.

One by one, the men climbed into several black vans.

The masked enforcer walked over to the lead vehicle.

"So..."

He looked toward Yun Wanhe.

"Where to next, Brother Yun?"

Yun Wanhe settled into the front passenger seat before unfolding a city map.

"Brother Daxun said there are still several locations under Bai Xue’s control."

He slowly traced a finger across the map.

After a few moments...

His finger stopped.

"This one."

He tapped a location.

"A bar about three miles from here."

"If the intelligence is correct... there should be another operation beneath it."

The masked enforcer nodded.

"I know the place."

Yun Wanhe folded the map.

"Good. Let’s keep moving."

The driver started the engine.

"Yes, Brother Yun."

The convoy pulled away, disappearing into the evening traffic.

Several minutes later...

A luxury sedan stopped outside the first bar.

Shen Tian and Bai Xue stepped out.

The once lively establishment had become a disaster.

Broken glass covered the floor.

Tables had been smashed apart.

Blood stained the wooden planks.

Several of Bai Xue’s men lay scattered throughout the room, groaning in pain.

Others were unconscious.

Shen Tian frowned.

"They really didn’t hold back."

He crouched beside one of the injured men.

Checking his breathing...

Then his pulse.

"He’s alive."

He moved to the next.

"And this one. Alive."

Another.

"Broken ribs... But he’ll make it."

After checking several more people, Shen Tian finally stood.

"They wanted to send a message. They weren’t trying to kill everyone. They were trying to crush morale."

Bai Xue silently looked around the ruined bar.

Her expression became increasingly ugly.

She slowly sat down in one of the few booths that hadn’t been destroyed.

"How?"

She muttered to herself.

"How did they know?"

Her voice grew quieter.

"I never told anyone about the drug operation beneath this bar."

She clenched her fists.

"Only my most trusted subordinates knew. The people directly managing this territory. There shouldn’t have been any leaks..."

Shen Tian walked over and leaned against the table.

"There are only two possibilities."

Bai Xue looked up.

"Either... They got extremely lucky."

He paused for a moment.

"Or you have a rat."

Bai Xue’s pupils contracted slightly.

"A traitor..."

She slowly lowered her head.

"No. I personally chose everyone. I trusted them."

Shen Tian folded his arms.

"Trust doesn’t stop people from selling information. Money. Fear. Family. Revenge. There are plenty of reasons someone betrays an organization."

He looked around the destroyed bar one last time.

"And whoever it is... they’re feeding Zhuge Daxun accurate information."

Bai Xue took a deep breath before standing.

"I’ll investigate everyone involved."

"You should."

Shen Tian nodded.

"But not now."

He glanced toward the entrance.

"They’re most likely moving to your next bars. He won’t stop after one victory."

Bai Xue’s expression changed.

"The other bars."

Shen Tian nodded.

"If I were him... I’d strike every known location before you have time to react. One after another. Destroy your operations. Cripple some of your income. And break some of your influence in the underworld."

Bai Xue immediately understood.

"We have to move. Now."

Shen Tian smiled faintly.

"Exactly."

He headed toward the exit.

"Let’s go. This time... We’ll be there before they arrive."

The two quickly left the ruined bar.

They quickly hopped into the car.

Shen Tian slammed his foot on the accelerator.

The engine roared.

Traffic laws?

He couldn’t care less.

He weaved through traffic, cut corners, and even drove onto the sidewalk for a few seconds before merging back onto the road.

If he got a ticket...

He had the money to pay it.

If someone wanted to sue...

The Shen Family’s lawyers would handle it.

Right now, every second mattered.

Before long, they arrived at the next bar in record time.

Shen Tian parked the car and immediately scanned the building.

Nothing looked unusual from the outside.

He let out a small sigh of relief.

"It looks like we made it in time."

Bai Xue nodded.

"Let’s head inside."

Without another word, the two hurried toward the entrance.
