The hivemind is conquering for me?

Chapter 851: Little Seer

Chapter 851: Little Seer

"Hmmm." Carmine hummed within his transport. He was looking at a datapad trying to find as much information as possible about the Sentinel he ran into. He was surprised to find very little. That wasn’t normal.

Looking back to a year ago the man was a fallen Archon that had just poof! Appeared like he didn’t exist beforehand.

"Hmmm." he hummed once more as he began to dive a little deeper than he was legally allowed, especially against a Sentinel. The records were clean. Squeaky clean. Deliberately clean. No one was this clean unless they were hiding something.

He went on to check the man’s claim about his licence to carry alien weaponry. Kathrine Hyllus gave the recommendation and gave the permission, even notarized it.

His certificate, proving his position as a fallen Archon. Kathrine Hyllus had notarized it. Claiming his other certificate had been destroyed when his world was lost.

As he kept diving deeper into his background Kathrine kept coming up. That didn’t make sense. Each of the documents he visited, someone else should be signing them, not the head of his family...

Continuing his investigation he found that he and Kathrine were clearly in a relationship and that Valerica had adopted him. Meaning that he was also in the family... In the main family.

Carmine clasped his hands together. Something strange was happening here. His intuition was telling him so. Forgery was clearly at hand, even if he had no solid proof. With this, even though Apollo was a Sentinel and investigating a Sentinel could severely backlash on him, he did think hard about it.

It was his job to weed out this type of thing. But the other issue was his wife. If she knew he was launching an investigation into the Hyllus family. If anyone knew he was launching an internal investigation. It didn’t matter his position, his connections. He would randomly take a vacation and never return.

Another issue would be his connection to the Praetorians. Something that baffled him as the Praetorians were notoriously cold to the nobles. Yet two had been following him around? Again something was off about all of this.

Investigating this man would make Carmine enemies in high places, but... A grudge had been made. He had been embarrassed and humiliated. He would get to the bottom of this. Or die trying.

...

Aeletha sat at her desk. She had been busy the last few weeks looking for clues after what occurred on that penal colony, but it still evaded her sight. Vexing her.

Fortunately, her favourite distraction was about to be brought in by Rekosh.

Taking a sip of her tea. She waited a moment before there was a knock at her door.

"Come in, Rekosh."

Rekosh opened the door and smiled at his seer while performing a small bow. She couldn’t see, but she always seemed to know and appreciate the action. "My Seer, I bring word from-"

"-I know Rekosh. Start reading it for me." Aeletha said serenely and proceeded to take another sip of her tea.

"Of course, my Seer. Like you said he would, King Sigismund has stayed true to his word, almost all forces on both sides have withdrawn to their respective borders. There is still some tension up north, but it is currently being dealt with."

"Rekosh. I am interested in further galactic south. What’s the word on Lleon T1?"

"Lleon T1 Lleon T1..." Rekosh murmured, going through a series of pages before finding what he was looking for.

"Lleon T1. Oh... The fighting between the humans and the Drakoshi have been continuous and bloody. Humans aren’t good for much, but they are good at fighting for their own planets. Our spies are saying that thanks to a series of decisive victories across the mega continent the war is currently taking place on, Spartari are ahead of our projected victory by months."

"Really? That is surprising. They are usually quite predictable when it comes to timeframes. I wonder what happened?" Aeletha questioned.

Rekosh flipped the page and continued. "The Sentinel I met, Apollo, is there. Apparently he held off an entire clan of Drakoshi for over two months before making them retreat. Wait two months? Wow." Rekosh said, losing professionalism for a moment before clearing his throat and resuming.

"According to our analytics and our spies. The war there should be over in as little as three months."

Aeletha smiled hearing that. So close. So close to seeing that strange human in the flesh.

"Very good. Despite our strained relationship with Spartari. It is good to hear about them beating our shared enemy. Also with that Sentinel acting as a diplomat when the war is over. It is a good thing the war will be over sooner rather than later. Less chance for that military king of theirs to change his mind."

Aeletha then leant back in her chair and closed her eyes. "That will be all Rekosh."

"But my Seer. I still have reports from the north and our own fight against the Drakoshi."

Aeletha waved her hand. "I will get to them later, I need an hour to consolidate my thoughts."

Rekosh simply bowed before leaving.

After he did, Aeletha took in a big inhale followed by a large sigh.

She wanted to see first hand what was going on on that planet now. Her Sentinel had managed to hold back an entire clan by himself? How? She knew Apollo was secretly strong, able to kill a god level entity of the hunger, but the Drakoshi were not pushovers for non-Psionic beings.

She had attempted to scry the planet on numerous occasions, her curiosity getting the better of her, but like on Decima, his presence for some reason prevented it. It infuriated her that she was blind to him, even after using expensive reagents to boost her sight.

But that infuriation paved the way to just wanting to know more. She hated this feeling. She used to always know her future. Always knew what was coming. But since this human came around, she was blind to it. She hated it...

But she also loved it.

It was something new. Something unprecedented. She just wanted to meet Apollo desperately at this point. A few communications wasn’t enough. She also hadn’t satisfied her life debt. She owed Apollo much more still. Even more now that he had uncovered a conspiracy.

Pushing her hair through her horns, she went to stand up to clear her mind, but as she did she had a vision. Different to the usual ones that plague her mind when thinking about him.

She was looking up at him. He looked so tall. Gigantic. However, her proportions were still correct? That’s when she realised she was on her knees.

A passenger in the back seat of her vision; she watched as she spoke.

"Will you allow me to feed, master? I’ve been good all month, waiting for your return."

She then heard his voice and her body got chills.

"I don’t know baby, have you really been as good as you proclaim?"

It was deep, authoritative and possessive. She felt her mouth go dry just looking at him.

"I have. I promise you."

Apollo then smirked at her, her red ringed eyes narrowing in pleasure as his thumb parted her lips and she began to suck it desperately.

"I don’t know, your mouth suggests otherwise. Look at you, you want to suck something else, don’t you?"

She said nothing else, she just looked up, pleading. It made him laugh and that made her feel so happy.

"Very well. My little Seer deserves a reward for all her hard work. I think my strength wants your lips around it." He spoke and she felt herself get aroused. Ready. Eager to please.

Apollo then went to his pants waist and was about to remove his pants when-

"What the fuck!" Aeletha yelled at the top of her lungs as she managed to suppress the vision.

At her yell, Rekosh ran back into the room only to hear.

"Get out!"

Rekosh bowed and left again instantly and Aeletha began to massage her temples.

"What the fuck was that?" She muttered to herself. That was so intense. So vivid. Unlike her other vision where she had her sense of sight. This one was the same as she was now, using her Psionic aura to see everything. To feel everything. Yet she knew she saw those eyes.

No, the eyes didn’t matter right now. What was that whole vision? She was on her knees? Desperate? She would never do that. Ever. She bowed to no one.

And the way he called her ’My little Seer.’ She was used to being called my Seer. Everyone called her that, it was her title, but the way he said it... It was like he owned her. Like she was his property.

It was disgusting and totally untrue. She belonged to no one. Never has been. Never will be. She knew this. It was a universal truth. She had the power of a god when she chose. She couldn’t be.

However, despite the protest in her head. One thing was undeniable. Between her legs, her acid was basically pouring from her sex.

The vision, even if she denied it, aroused her. She liked the way it made her feel. Even if she didn’t see anything obviously sexual in this one by the time she forcefully ended it. And that made her even more curious as to why.

Deciding to do something else before her thoughts and vision wandered to that again, she went to go change her undergarments so she could forget... If she could forget.
