"No need, no need, just sit and keep Nuonuo company. I’ve got it all prepared, just need to cook. It’ll take about half an hour!" Qiao Xi said before turning and running into the kitchen.

Her heart was racing; she berated herself for being so hopeless. Why was she getting so worked up?
