1. Human / Awakened Ranks

Kael's Level is his exact numerical progression, while Rank represents the broad stage of power he has reached.

Rank

Levels

Description

Unawakened

0

Ordinary human, no System

F-Rank — Initiate

1–10

Newly awakened; basic mana and abilities

E-Rank — Apprentice

11–25

Can reliably use combat abilities

D-Rank — Adept

26–50

Experienced supernatural combatant

C-Rank — Expert

51–100

Extremely powerful by normal human standards

B-Rank — Master

101–200

Can dominate large groups of lower-ranked fighters

A-Rank — Grandmaster

201–350

Rare beings capable of changing major battles

S-Rank — Transcendent

351–500

Living legends

SS-Rank — Sovereign

501–750

Beings whose power can affect nations/continents

SSS-Rank — Mythic

751–1000

Almost mythical existences

EX-Rank — Divine

1001–1500

Beyond ordinary mortal understanding

??? — Beyond

1500+

Unknown; existence itself may transcend the world's known system

Important rule

Level ≠ automatic combat strength.

A Level 20 swordsman with an extraordinary bloodline, powerful artifact, and excellent technique could potentially defeat a poorly trained Level 25.

But a Level 2 shouldn't suddenly defeat a Level 100 monster just because of one weapon.

This makes Kael's growth more believable.

Every major rank can have:

Early → Mid → Late → Peak

For example:

Level 37 — D-Rank, Early

Level 42 — D-Rank, Mid

Level 48 — D-Rank, Late

Level 50 — D-Rank, Peak

Then:

Level 51 → C-Rank, Early

Weapons should have their own grade.

A Level 2 person could theoretically possess a very high-grade weapon, but they might be unable to control its full power.

A weapon is something forged primarily for combat.

An artifact is an object containing a special power, authority, ability, soul, ancient technique, or mysterious function.

???

Cannot be evaluated

A powerful artifact doesn't necessarily reveal its full grade.

It can have:

Dormant → Awakened → Evolved → True Form

I'd make monster grading independent from human ranking.

Monsters have:

Grade + Level + Species Rank

Basic monster grades

Grade

Powerful monsters can receive special titles.
