Chapter 1720: Third Star Light

[A few minutes ago - Before Namariona approached him]

Kaden stared at the message floating before his eyes, a small smile playing across his face...

[You have discovered the third Star Light. Name: Namariona Xzeth]

[Awaken her connection to the Paragon Star and become a god. Only by becoming a god can you access the secrets to leaving this place. Hurry, Paragon, part of your destiny awaits.]

The message was clearly unexpected, yet in some way, very expected.

For some reason, Kaden had been led here by a version of Icon, whom his current Icon claimed existed in this place.

This existence from her words was very much like her.

She was a sentient, intelligent being, almost as if she were a cultivation method of her own. Atomic described Icon’s existence as a form of cosmic energy. She was an entity capable of interacting with and manipulating energies.

So if she said there was someone like her here who was helping her, he ought to believe it.

This existence had somehow identified what he needed, so the map given to him had led him here, and now Namariona happened to be the person he was led to.

In a way, he had killed two birds with one stone. He reunited Pickle Berry with her family, and he had met the third Star Light.

Hanna was the first starlight, and she made Rhazor a god, awakening the Blood & Fire Dao.

Nyrela, being the second Star Light, had sent Asura into the second god ascension, and soon he, too, would become a god, awakening his own Dao.

Naturally, Namariona would become the third, and from the look of things, Kaden coming here this time wasn’t a coincidence at all. He was led here, and that alone pointed to a bigger picture.

’For reasons I can’t figure out just yet, I feel like I am here for a much bigger destiny,’ he said inwardly, then focused on Namariona.

"What do you mean by the key to leaving this place is in my hands?" Namariona asked, confused by what Kaden had said.

King Xzeth wore the same expression.

He was fully aware of who the Paragon was, for he had heard so much about him. They were from the Primus Universe, after all, so it wasn’t like the Paragon was a mystery to them.

It was because they understood the kind of existence a Paragon was that he even asked how Kaden planned on leaving this place.

He knew that regardless of what the situation might be, if what they knew of the Paragon was true, then he would find a way to leave.

They had a life here, but returning to the Primus Universe was the dream of every soul in this place. They would kill to get a chance to return to their loved ones.

So if Kaden could do that, then he would do everything in his power to help him. Now, however, things were different...

Kaden took a step forward and answered Namariona’s question, "You are not aware of it yet, but you hold the key to one of the nine power sources that I depend on. I call it the Paragon Star, and you are its Star Light.

"That power, if granted access by you, will allow me to become a god, and once I do, the way to leave this place will be revealed to me.

"Now, I know you all have doubts and may not even trust me. I am okay with that. However, Pickle Berry had no plans to reunite with her family, only to get stuck here forever.

"So even if you don’t trust me, trust her enough and allow me to awaken your secret nature as the Paragon Star Light. Of course, that can wait for now since we have a reunion to celebrate and a lot of questions to answer."

King Xzeth couldn’t help but nod at Kaden’s answer. He clearly had his doubts, but that could wait for now. Making sure Pickle Berry’s return to her family was celebrated was the most important thing.

"Fine," Namariona said, turning to Pickle Berry. "After the reunion, we will talk more about this secret nature of mine, which I am hearing about for the first time.

"But of course," Kaden smiled and finally turned to his triplets and introduced them. Afterwards, he introduced Natasha and then his four Primordial Flame Spirits.

The rest of his elemental spirits were back inside his soul sea. He chose not to reveal them yet until he fully grasped the nature of Pickle Berry’s family’s power and dynamics.

"Little bro, I hope you are not abandoning me," just before they could move to Dunsil City, Maneli, who had been ignored by Kaden and King Xzeth, spoke, an amused smile playing on his face.

Kaden looked at King Xzeth, who smirked and turned away. "He can come. But if he tries something funny, don’t blame me for not showing mercy, even if you are important to Pickle Berry."

Kaden nodded and turned to Maneli. "You heard the man. If you try anything funny, you wouldn’t know how you became a Battle Puppet."

Kaden waved his hand, and Blood Savage vanished into his soul sea. Then he took the hands of his three wives and walked toward the large void gate that had been opened by King Xzeth.

Maneli chuckled and followed.

Pickle Berry was still in her mom’s arms, so they were the first to enter. Soon, only King Xzeth and Maneli remained...

Before they entered, however, King Xzeth asked, "What do you think about him, Maneli? Do you think he can handle it..."

"I haven’t known him for long, but from the little I have seen so far, I think he has a higher chance than the others. Of course, as to whether he is the one we have been waiting for, he can only prove himself by challenging the Elemental Tower."

King Xzeth sighed and nodded... "I do hope he is the one. We have been here for long without finding a way back. If what the seer said is true, then the reincarnation cycle will arrive in less than 10 million years. We have to be prepared, for if we fail this time, all life as we know it will be lost for good."

Maneli yawned and nodded... "Let’s eat first, Xzeth. The rest will handle itself in due time."

King Xzeth smirked, feeling like Maneli had become too comfortable already...

’This bastard...’

They walked through the void gate, and it closed behind them...
