Chapter 2007: Mistaken for a Mountain Monster

The uncle thought this child might be mentally ill, suddenly going crazy and yelling, while his hands made strange movements.

The moment Hua Jinyan pointed at him, he felt a chill all over, as a gust of eerie wind rushed towards him.

"Where did this demon wind come from?" the middle-aged uncle screamed.

The gusts seemed to crawl into his body through his pores, chilling him to the bone.

It was like countless worms wriggling through his body, paralyzing him instantly as he collapsed onto the ground.

He occasionally twitched, and foamy white bubbles emerged from his mouth, as if suddenly having a seizure.

The middle-aged woman nervously looked at Hua Jinyan.

The child stood there, gazing at people as if he were looking at ants.

He appeared like a cold, merciless god of death standing atop a snowy mountain, emotionless, striking terror and trembling into one’s heart.

"This is definitely not a simple child; perhaps it isn’t even a human at all!" the middle-aged woman muttered softly. "I’ve always heard that deep in the mountains, there’s always something..." She shivered, scared by her own thoughts.

These two kids, one born with Divine Power, the other possessing strange powers, able to control demon wind.

Could it truly be... Mountain spirits transformed into humans?

She was a kidnapper, having committed countless evil deeds, abducted countless children, and torn apart countless families, never believing in evil retribution in this world. But today, she realized her retribution might have come.

Not daring to linger here any longer, she turned around and ran.

She called out to the young couple: "That must be a Monster from the mountains transformed into human! Quickly, escape!"

"Mountain Monster?" Little Taotie blinked, innocently took off his mask, tilted his head at Hua Jinyan, and in a childish voice asked, "Do I look like a monster?"

"Yes." Hua Jinyan smiled a bit.

Hua Jinyan continued to command those Ghosts to charge at the three fleeing people.

The three immediately felt something chasing them from behind, a gust of cold wind impacting their backs.

All they could do was run madly forward, not knowing what else to do.

The young couple initially had a skeptical attitude, seeing the uncle collapse to the ground, thinking he had some underlying condition and suddenly had an episode, totally unbelieving a seemingly adorable little boy caused it.

But now feeling the cold behind them, they couldn’t help but believe.

Clearly, there was no one behind them, yet they heard the howling wind and felt pursued, now believing these two can’t possibly be ordinary people, but Mountain Monsters!

The young couple ran faster than the middle-aged woman, soon getting into the car.

They closed the door, and the middle-aged woman vigorously pounded on the car door, while the two inside ignored her plight and stepped on the gas pedal.

"Damn it! Open the door! Hurry, open the door!"

"You will face retribution! You can’t escape! Open the door quickly!"

The middle-aged woman screamed loudly.

The car had just started when it stalled, the man stepped hard on the gas, but it wouldn’t move.

Clearly, they had filled up on gas when they left, now it showed the tank empty.

The car’s air conditioning suddenly turned on by itself, the temperature inside dropped rapidly, getting colder and colder, like falling into an ice cellar.

The two screamed inside the car, as the demon wind poured out from the air vents, drilled into their pores, they pounded fiercely from inside the car door, but it wouldn’t open, as if frozen shut.

The two shivered, hugging each other, teeth chattering, eyes bulging, drool uncontrollably dripping, tongue sticking out.

Their consciousness remained clear, but their bodies out of control. The feeling terrified them, fear squeezing their hearts, unable to even scream.
