Chapter 5: First Ability After F***ing His Wife

She kissed him like she was starving.

There was nothing gentle about it. Her mouth crashed against his, teeth clicking, tongue pushing past his lips with two years of raw need. Arthur staggered half a step until his back hit the wall. Her hands were already under his coat, yanking it open, sliding up the hard lines of his chest. The pink-gold mist he had only glimpsed before now poured off her body in thick, glowing waves. It clung to her skin, swirled around her hips, and drifted toward the black book still tucked inside his coat.

Eros mana. Exactly like Mimi had described.

Arthur’s mind flashed to the tiny winged figure who had been watching from the ceiling. Heat that had nothing to do with lust flooded his face. Even if she was only a book spirit, she still looked and sounded like a child. The idea of her floating there while this happened made his stomach twist.

He reached into his coat with one hand, fingers closing around the warm cover. A single clear thought pushed outward.

Lock yourself inside. No seeing. No hearing. No feeling. Until I call you.

The book pulsed once in answer. The faint sense of Mimi’s presence vanished completely, sealed behind whatever barrier the Codex allowed. The room felt suddenly emptier and sharper at the same time.

Arthur looked at the woman in front of him.

She was already pulling her dress over her head. Full breasts spilled free, heavy and soft, nipples tight from the cool air and her own urgency. She kicked the dress aside, shoved her undergarments down, and stood naked without a shred of shyness left. Her body was mature, curved, and trembling with need. The pink-gold mist rose from between her thighs in heavy coils.

She reached for him next. Belt. Trousers. The rest of his clothes. In less than a minute he was as bare as she was. Her eyes dropped to his cock and darkened with pure hunger. She pushed him backward onto the bed, climbed over him, and took his mouth again while her hand wrapped around his length and stroked once, twice, testing the hardness she had been denied for so long.

Arthur had never done this. Not once. Yet his body seemed to understand the rhythm on its own. Maybe it was the years of mana tempering every muscle. Maybe it was simply the way she moved, guiding him without words. She lined him up, sank down in one wet, desperate slide, and both of them groaned into each other’s mouths.

She was tight and soaked and burning hot. The moment he filled her she started moving, hips rolling hard, chasing something she had been starving for. Her breasts swayed above him. He lifted his hands and cupped them, thumbs brushing the stiff peaks. She gasped and rode harder.

The pink-gold mist thickened with every thrust. It poured from her skin, from the place where their bodies joined, and streamed straight into the black book that lay on the floor among the discarded clothes. Arthur felt a faint pull in his chest each time a fresh wave was swallowed by the Codex, but the sensation was distant compared to the woman bouncing on his cock.

She leaned down, hair falling around both their faces, and kissed him again while she ground her hips in tight circles.

"Harder," she whispered against his mouth. "Please... just take it. Use me."

Arthur’s hands slid to her waist. He met her next downward stroke with a sharp upward thrust. The wet sound of their bodies filled the small room. She cried out, not bothering to muffle it. Her husband was still downstairs, dead drunk and snoring. No one else in the inn would care.

She came first, clenching around him so tightly that his vision flickered. Her head fell back, mouth open, mist exploding off her skin in a bright flare that the book drank greedily. Before the aftershocks even finished she was moving again, chasing the next peak like she was afraid it would be taken away.

Arthur rolled them over without pulling out. Her back hit the mattress. He hooked one of her legs over his arm and drove into her deeper, steadier, watching the way her breasts shook with every impact. She clutched at the sheets, at his shoulders, at anything she could reach. Words spilled out of her in broken pieces. Yes. More. Don’t stop. Fuck me like I don’t matter. The pink-gold haze in the room grew so dense it almost looked like colored smoke.

They changed positions whenever one of them needed air. She rode him again, grinding down with her hands on his chest. He took her from behind, one hand in her hair, the other gripping her hip hard enough to leave marks. She bent over the edge of the bed and pushed back to meet every thrust. The night blurred into heat and skin and the constant soft glow of Eros mana being pulled into the Codex.

Arthur felt his own release building more than once. Each time he held back, letting her take what she needed. Her body was frantic, almost frantic with relief. Two years of a soft husband and quiet frustration poured out of her in every moan and every desperate roll of her hips.

Near dawn her movements finally slowed. She was slick with sweat, hair stuck to her cheeks, eyes half-lidded and dazed. Arthur was still hard inside her. She looked up at him, reached between their bodies, and whispered, "Finish. Inside. I want to feel it."

He thrust deeper, once, twice, and let go. The climax hit hard enough that his arms nearly gave out. He buried himself to the hilt and spilled into her while she held him there with both legs wrapped around his waist. The last heavy pulse of pink-gold mist left her body and vanished into the book on the floor.

Then the mist was gone.

The room felt ordinary again. Only the smell of sex and the sound of their rough breathing remained.

Arthur pulled out slowly and sat back on his heels. The woman lay sprawled across the bed, one arm over her eyes, chest rising and falling. A small, satisfied smile touched her lips. She did not speak. She did not need to.

On the floor the black book lay open.

Across the first blank page, fresh pink-gold letters burned into existence and then settled into clean black ink.

Arthur stared at the words until they stopped glowing.

Outside the window the first gray light of morning was starting to creep across the capital. Downstairs her husband still snored. In a few hours the inn would wake and the world would pretend nothing had changed.

But the first page of the Eros Codex was no longer blank.

And Arthur Vance was no longer completely powerless.
