His brows trembled with tension. He didn’t want Moon to face whatever it was alone.

He kept pushing, kicking, and throwing punches, yet it didn’t move.

The red transparent glass stayed cold and solid. He could see everything inside perfectly, but he could not enter.

He looked inside and froze.

He thought there would be puppets or some spirit to fight.

But he was wrong this time.

No one attacked Moon.

In fact, inside it was fragrant and sweet. Axe could tell from the expression Leo had on his little face.

It was intoxicating.

"Moon!" he shouted, voice muffled.

Inside, Moon spun around and tried the door.

It was sealed.

He pressed both palms against the crystal and pushed with spiritual force.

Still nothing.

Leo had already bounced onto the giant round bed.

In the very center of the silk sheets lay a single flower brighter than all the others outside—a Crimson Flame Orchid in full bloom, petals pulsing with concentrated fire essence.

Moon gave up on opening the door and turned his attention to Leo, then screamed in exasperation.

"LEO, NO!"

The bald wolf had already pounced and swallowed the entire flower in two big bites.

He even burped in satisfaction.

His eyes became moist and sleepy, like he was dreaming a sweet dream.

Moon walked over and climbed onto the bed. He wanted to hug Leo in his arms to check on him, but then Leo’s body convulsed violently.

His pink skin started to split as new fur erupted—thicker, longer, and smoother.

A deep crimson with glowing gold. Just like the fire garden outside, his fur expanded like smooth fire steam.

His bones started to crack and lengthen into a big wolf, forcing Moon to back out into a corner.

Moon was already frozen in place from shock for the second time.

In just a few breaths, the small pup swelled into a massive adult wolf, larger than any ordinary spirit wolf.

Fire licked along his spine and the tip of his tail.

His amber eyes burned with pure heat.

He looked at the small, cornered figure on the bed. His eyes were burning with a hazy glow.

Moon’s heart trembled.

He knew this look, and it was not something he wanted at this moment.

Pure instinct and hunger.

A rut.

The humid, scorching scent of a male in full rut flooded the chamber.

Moon’s breath hitched. He started to gather his spiritual energy in his palm to strike at any moment.

But suddenly he noticed his Qi wasn’t gathering.

"Damn!"

"Spirit locking array... There must be a spirit locking array!"

"Leo...?" he murmured.

Outside, Axe cursed under his breath. He was more agitated than Moon.

How could he, as a wolf, not know what this was?

And he was afraid Moon would get hurt.

"Not again! Leo, we promised not again!" he shouted.

But his voice never reached inside the cabin.

Axe ran around the outer side, searching for any hidden mechanism or anything that could break the door.

Inside the chamber, the air was shifting faster. Leo’s gaze slowly turned feral and intoxicated.

Moon knew Leo had no human sense left in him.

He tried to move slowly.

Just as he shifted, the wolf shifted too.

With one leap, he pinned Moon against the bed.

Moon’s body sank into the soft mattress. The weight of the wolf pressed hard on his shoulders.

Hot breath washed over his face.

A long, rough tongue dragged from his jaw all the way up to his temple, leaving a wet trail.

"Ugh! Leo, you bastard, wake up!" Moon cried out.

Leo started licking lower.

The tongue pushed under the collar of his robe, dragging over his collarbone and his chest.

It circled the sensitive peak of a nipple through the thin fabric, wetting it until it was transparent.

Moon gasped and tried to shove the massive head away, but the wolf only growled low and pressed closer.

The wet heat of that tongue soaked through his clothes, tracing every line of his body as if it wanted to taste his every inch.

Axe was just about to search the other side when his eyes fell inside again. He gritted his teeth in anger.

"Leo! Stop! You dead meat!"

He shouted, but his voice could not reach them. He exhaled sharply and just hurried his search.

Inside, the wolf’s hips rolled forward.

His thick, dark-red cock had already fully emerged—veined, dripping with heat.

The tip nudged against Moon’s lower stomach, burning even through the fabric.

Moon’s eyes went wide with panic and fear.

There was no way he could take a wolf.

Not to mention one this big.

"No— Leo, no— stop—!" he screamed at the top of his lungs.

The wolf did not understand a single word.

He only understood the fire roaring in his blood.

He mouthed at Moon’s throat, licking and nipping, while his hips kept grinding, trying to find the way inside.

Moon’s clothes tore under the heat and friction.

The scorching length dragged along Moon’s thigh, leaving a wet, burning trail of precum.

Moon’s voice cracked.

"Please— don’t— Leo—!"

In desperation, he started to cry, ’G—Goo—ddddesss...’ he stammered even in his mind.

But on the other side there was only silence.

Tears spilled from the corners of his eyes as he started to sob.

They slid down his cheeks onto the bed.

Leo’s tongue slipped past a tear. And suddenly he paused.

Those burning amber eyes stared at the wet trails on Moon’s face, as if contemplating why the sweet savory things had turned salty.

The aggressive rolling of his hips stuttered.

Something deep inside the pure instinct, something that still knew this person, struggled upward.

But the heat inside him was still rolling like fire. His veined cock twitched hard, looking at this pitiful human.

His tip had already found the entrance.

Soft and comfortable.

He wanted to thrust, yet that tear was something he could not ignore.

His tongue swept over Moon’s cheeks again and again until the tears were replaced with his saliva.

With this, Moon cried even harder, but he also noticed the beast’s hesitation.

He slowly started to stroke the paw pressing on his shoulder and whispered with a sob,

"Leo... can you hear me? Leo... Leo... Leo...?"
