Slap-slap-slap.

Ellen’s moans turned into broken little cries each time his cock bottomed out inside her.

Silas kept his eyes on the reflection in the glass—her flushed face, her open mouth, her bouncing tits pressed against the cold surface.

He used her roughly, venting every bit of anger from the market into her body.

"Take it," he growled.

"Take every fucking thrust. This is all you’re good for when I’m angry."

Ellen’s legs trembled.

Her cunt clenched around him as she came with a high, shaky cry.

Silas didn’t stop.

He kept pounding into her through it, chasing his own release, the sound of skin slapping and her wet, messy moans filling every corner of the room.

Only when he finally buried himself deep and spilled inside her did he slow down.

He stayed pressed against her for a moment.

Panting hard, still buried to the hilt.

Only by fucking this slut could he feel accomplished a little.

In the end, all will be his, and all will be his possession anyway. He doesn’t need to think of any defective taking his place.

Silas rubbed his face on Ellen’s back.

"Ellen, will you regret choosing me?"

"I will not. Leo is not even worth your attention, my alpha."

"Good for you to choose me," Silas chuckled.

Outside the window, the distant flags of the registration ground were already being raised.

And the young pack members were gathering for their new destination.

In the West Grand Plaza Market Area

By the time Moon and his mates finished selling their goods and the last item disappeared into a buyer’s satchel, it was already past noon.

AWOOOOOOOOoooooo

A long hawl vibrated throughout the west region, announcing that the first step of the trial had begun.

The registration flag had been raised high in the middle of the plaza.

Today was the day applicants would register their names.

As young wolves hurried toward the plaza, Moon, Nox, Ugo, and Axe swiftly packed up their table and stall.

They tipped a shop owner to return the stall materials to the Bazaar community officer, then hurried toward the plaza as well.

They were already late, and their dream of buying new clothes would have to wait until tomorrow.

By the time Moon and the others arrived, the place was already crowded.

Large flags fluttered above the registration grounds.

Long tables had been arranged in rows, with staff seated behind them and guards standing nearby to keep the lines orderly.

Young wolves from different packs were gathered everywhere.

Some wore expensive robes and carried themselves proudly, while others stood quietly with their families or companions.

The atmosphere was lively, but there was also a strong smell of competition.

Everyone had come here for the same reason.

They wanted a chance to enter one of the seven major academies.

Axe glanced at the long queues and clicked his tongue.

"Looks like we really did come late."

"It’s not too late yet," Ugo said. "The registration tables are still open."

"Then let’s get in line."

Moon looked around and found three large queues.

He frowned.

The trial was organized by the council, but the three major academies were in charge of registration. The Supreme Council merely oversaw the process.

’This is troublesome,’ he thought.

Moon still had no clear idea about the three academies, and deciding which one would be most favorable to them was another problem.

However, his question soon became irrelevant.

Several guards were randomly directing people into the queues. The applicants had no choice but to follow their instructions.

One of the guards noticed Moon and his group and directed them into a line.

Moon’s gaze darted around in utter shock.

There were too many people, and almost all of them had masculine builds. They were tall and sturdy, and even the younger ones looked mature.

Only now did he realize why people kept looking at him strangely.

Compared to them, he was just a slim little boy.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance.

It seemed he would have to work out between his cultivation and refining, just like the warrior mages.

He was still lost in thought when a familiar voice stopped them.

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

Evan Vesper stood nearby with several young men and women.

His eyes moved over Moon and the others, lingering on their ordinary clothes and the bags Axe was carrying.

Confusion flashed across his face.

He didn’t want to speak to these lowly people, but curiosity got the better of him.

"You can’t sell your goods here." He pointed at the large satchel hanging from Axe’s back.

The other young men and women were probably princes and princesses from smaller packs. Moon noticed the insignias hanging from their waist belts, though he didn’t recognize them.

That didn’t stop them from throwing disdainful glances at him.

"Hey, you should leave," a young girl said. "If the council finds out you’re causing trouble here, you’ll be fined."

"Yes, this isn’t a place for merchants to sell their goods. If you’re looking for customers, go back to the market."

Moon glanced at them, then at Evan, who was smiling maliciously.

He could guess that Evan was trying to get back at them for the horse dung incident.

"Do you see any goods in our hands?" he asked the girl.

She was startled.

"Um... no... but that big bag..." She hesitated. "And..."

"Linli, don’t be so polite with them," another boy snarled.

"They’re clearly beggars. They don’t even have pack marks. I know this kind of person. They go everywhere pestering people and selling all kinds of rubbish."

"We’re not selling anything here. You hear me? Now get lost," Nox said in a displeased tone.

His brows furrowed so deeply that the lines on his forehead made him look like an old man.

Evan’s face stiffened.

"Don’t try to be clever with me. Everyone knows what kind of people you are. What are you doing here?"

"Rest assured, we didn’t come here to appreciate your face," Moon replied with a smile.

Evan was startled.

Then his face turned red.
