Chapter 22: The Full-Moon

Axe had just stepped into the water tunnel, while Ugo was guarding from the starting point.

The idea was not planned but a reckless decision, just like all the times before.

Axe’s heavy build was not suitable for traversing the tunnel.

The most suitable person for this was Nox, but they couldn’t let Nox enter. That one was utterly untrustworthy to do secret things despite his very agile movements.

Axe got past a few tunnels in quick succession, swiftly swam past the corners, and effectively avoided the jutting boulders, the spikes, or the hidden traps. And after going around for a few minutes, he stopped in an opening.

Waiting for a moment, his ears pricked up to hear any movement before he flashed out of the water, grinning. His machete flashed in his hand with the dark glint of his feral nature.

--

"I want to take all of this," Moon sent his thought to the Goddess.

[Great ambition.]

"I know you have a spatial satchel."

[Umm.]

"Just tell me what I need to do to get one from your system."

Moon knew there was certainly no system, just the Goddess’s private collection. But he just went along.

[Bond with the Alphas.]

Moon’s shoulders slumped again.

He knew what the Goddess wanted, but he felt that was nearly impossible now.

"Thud."

A soft sound echoed off the cavern wall as he saw a small, black leather satchel drop from the air.

[I will give you one.]

A wide grin spread across Moon’s face that couldn’t be suppressed.

"Why so generous suddenly?"

The Goddess did not answer.

Moon spread his divine sense to see what he could move without making it obvious for now to the witch. He put many miscellaneous things and herbs in quick succession with his spiritual power.

Wrapped the item and moved.

A basic practice for every mage. Even the lowest one can do it.

Moving them cost his qi, but he could only do that since he couldn’t physically move for now.

That witch’s array really had the power to suppress his body.

He did not put the cauldron in to avoid suspicion. He then opened the copper trunk and his divine sense swept past the ancient words on them.

’Really hit the jackpot. A full structure of many witchcrafts of this world... um... oh, look at this one... so this is called the Monalis Celestia realm... The Moon of the Heavenly Realm...’

Moon sat on the floor up on his ankles, as he drifted into the sea of knowledge inside the hidden scrolls.

The witch would have never thought her false accusation was slowly turning into a real one with her own wrong steps.

In the blink of an eye, the days passed, and the full moon slowly staged herself on her grand, amorous, vast dark sky, spreading her gorgeous gold wings across the entire Monalis realm and glowing with the glory of the Goddess.

The roar and howls of the wolves, with ecstasy and excitement mixed with lonely pain, echoed in every corner of Mount Mraor.

The ceremony had passed before this month brought out another batch of shifters.

The newly shifted wolves, looking like they were growing their wings, were flaunting their fur with their mating frenzy in the dens.

The very air seemed raw, visceral, and primitive.

But this mushy air could not reach Moon’s place, where the water was dripping from the cracks of the dark stones, making a basin in a corner and filling the air with a gunpowder-damp smell.

A snake was crawling down through the ancient tree roots, wrapping itself around a jar or peeking at the figure sitting in the middle on a round, ragged stone.

Moon had been hanging his head motionless for six days, and the snake wondered if it could take a bite. But it didn’t dare to take anything from the witch residing here.

Everything could be more viciously poisoned here than its own poison gland.

Moon flinched.

A pink hue was slowly spreading from his neck to his chest.

He was feeling hot.

His eyes were getting dreamy and watery, and his body was reacting in a way he had never felt before.

’I have changed,’ he muttered.

[It’s a full moon.]

’Am I transformed? Is it because of all those markings?’

[You have a locked wolf spirit.]

The words didn’t surprise Moon.

Since he heard he was the fated mate of five wolves, he knew he must have a connection.

[Aren’t you asking how?]

’No, I am hot. Too hot to want anything other than a warm body," he said with a plain voice.

The blatant confession left even the Goddess speechless.

Moon leaned forward to lie on the floor. His cheeks touched the cold ground, relieving some of his agitation.

His hand unconsciously reached his cock as he suddenly started imagining Leo’s rough hand on his dick, going up and down.

"Hah, ugh..."

He flinched.

"Touch me."

"Faster..." he mumbled.

His hand started to rub inside his trousers, up and down.

Faster and faster.

His tunic gradually became damp with sweat.

The witch had never come back again, and Moon didn’t know what was happening in the outside world anymore.

He missed the Last Hole a little.

He even started to miss the raw, lewd moaning and squelching sounds he heard every night in the corridor, on the stairs, and even at the downstairs tables when the night was deep enough to make everyone dizzy.

He missed the slapping on the tables and the guttural, roaring laughter with every few words they said.

At least there was still life.

Not like this cold, endless darkness he was in now.

Moon concentrated and pulled down his trousers a little, loosening the tie.

He fapped.

Fapped with new vigor, considering which brother was most appealing for this secret piece of work he was doing.

His hand moved faster.

He didn’t know how to please himself; he only did what the brothers did to him, rubbing the shaft while pinching the tip now and then.

He shivered with every touch... yet still felt everything was bland and lacking.

"Ugh..."

He arched his upper body.

His abdomen quivered in the cold air.

With every ragged breath, the hollows of his hip bones deepened.

His lower abdomen contracted into a tight, trembling V-line as the tension grew high, twitching violently with involuntary spasms.

"ArRg"

"Ah"

A low growl broke from his throat as his lower abdomen completely seized, holding him still as the final, pulsing waves hit.

He thrust his hand up and down in a final release.

Just at the exact time, a soft thud echoed in the cavern.

Moon’s eyes snapped open.

Trembling in horror, he slowly turned his face.

Looked at the person who had just come in.

And then,

White sparks spurted from his tip.

Leaving his vision in a blur.
