The Martial Unity

Chapter 4630: Power Beyond Comprehension

  • Next Chapter

If not for the hive mind web, the Mindwebber would have died then and there. But borrowing the martial prowess of her sisters, she managed to barely evade death, leaping away from the newborn Transcendent.

Yet, it was in vain.

"Your present can evade, but not your past."

Rui’s eyes widened with shock as her attack tunneled through space and time. She had always been capable of this, almost as if she had mastered hyperdimensional reality innately. It was a product of a Realm of quantum relativistic efficiency that Rui had never been able to touch, even as a Transcendent.

But this time it was different.

This time, she amplified that relativistic efficiency with her Martialverse.

This time, her attack traveled not just through space, but also through time.

Her attack traveled to the past.

Just a few moments into the past.

To before the Divine Mother had escaped.

The future had been rewritten.

The future where the Divine Mother had evaded her attack had been destroyed.

A new future where her attack had connected and decapitated the Divine Mother had been born.

SPLAT!

Her palm smoothly decapitated the Mindwebber, severing her head from her body.

CLICK...?

Her pincers clashed one last time as her six eyes widened with horror as the world began to spiral in her vision. But before she had any opportunity to salvage her life with her Verse, another attack had already arrived.

There was no warning.

It was an attack that came from the future.

SPLAT

Her palm split the severed head in half.

Just like that, the Divine Mother had completely perished.

Her Verse crumbled instantaneously, while the remains of her body disappeared. The Law of Conservation of Causality didn’t care if a causal agent was alive or dead or non-living. Anything that intervened into the information dimension to increase the quantity of causality had to go. That was the rule.

With her Verse gone, the hive mind web was also destroyed, causing the Divine Mothers to immediately grow weakened and momentarily disoriented. Yet, the shock from their eyes didn’t disappear. Divine Mother oooo—— stared at Amare as if she had... well, no comparison could convey the sheer amount of disbelief that bloomed in her eyes.

It was as if she refused to accept reality itself. Her disbelief was so intense that it affected her Webverse, causing reality to distort to match her disbelief.

Everything that has unfolded had unfolded in the blink of an eye.

Amare appeared out of nowhere; not even Rui had sensed her breakthrough or her approach. She killed an empowered Divine Mother instantaneously with a power that was so extraordinary, even Rui struggled to comprehend it.

But that wasn’t the reason he was dumbfounded.

The reason he stared at her with a wide-open jaw was that he sensed something truly anomalous. Something he hadn’t ever imagined possible in his entire life.

She didn’t just have one Martialverse.

She had two!

One Martialverse from her brain-consciousness, expanding into the information dimension, and another from her Corporeal consciousness.

Her Corporeal Realm had broken through to Transcendence along with her conscious self!

It was something so absurd that Rui had never even conceived that this was possible, but... it was possible in theory. The Corporeal Realm was the consciousness of the body. With consciousness came phenomenology. With phenomenology came the possibility of phenomenological uniformity.

Amare’s greatest talent was muscle memory. In other words, her capacity to learn through her body. He suspected he had managed to elevate this to a whole other level with the Corporeal Realm, which in turn allowed it to reach Transcendence.

But still, even this shock was not the most shocking part of it all.

When he turned towards the chamber within the manifold where she had been in deep isolated training, his soul almost left his body when he saw that Amare was still sitting there!

She was in the chamber, immersed in a deep mind-body meditation, and he could sense that Amare had yet to break through.

At the same time, there was an Amare on the battlefield. She wasn’t a well-made fake; he could tell that she truly was the woman he loved and the mother of the most important person in his life.

"You... you..." he stammered with a tone of pure, raw disbelief.

Her amber eyes blazed with a truly intense conviction that Rui couldn’t even begin to comprehend. A single remark escaped her mouth as she charged towards the other Divine Mothers.

"Fight first. Explain later."

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

She immediately charged towards the other Divine Mothers, attacking them with an extremely intense onslaught of attacks. The other Divine Mothers became almost feral. Not only were they maddeningly furious at everything that had just happened, but they also became extremely desperate.

They had achieved their goal.

Now, they just wanted to get the hell out of there before more of them died!

Rui’s eyes flickered with a deep bloodlust. Now that they had managed to acquire the secret for Transcendence from Argenton’s brain, he knew that they could not be allowed to escape. Else, it would mean the destruction of human civilization.

"Don’t let a single one of them escape!" Rui snarled with bloodshot eyes. "Tire them out as much as possible! Kill them if you can!"

They were already quite exhausted. Their Verses had been active for a long time now, and it was entirely possible for all of them to be trapped within the solar system.

His comrades immediately understood the imperative of stopping them.

The unconscious Mother Maeria spread across the biomes of nature that were scattered across the other planets within the solar system, using her power to amplify the interdiction fields that had already been activated with Rui’s emergency command. This prevented the Divine Mothers from teleporting away, and it prevented the Gate of Conquest from opening a portal to the solar system easily.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The battle between the two forces shook the entire solar system. The Divine Mothers made a run for it, trying to escape the solar system itself to get out of range of the interdiction field.

They didn’t give a damn about destroying Gaia or the Transcendents of Gaia.

The only thing they wanted to do was escape.

Amare choosing to kill the Mindwebber of all people had been the worst for them. If they had the coordination that the dead Divine Mother had given them, they would have been able to escape easily.

Every Divine Mother gritted her pincers, rushing towards the edges of the solar system at speeds that exceeded light. Rui, Amare, Argenton, Mother Maeria, and God’s Hammer worked together as they targeted one Divine Mother after another, trying to kill them all.

The battle had completely shifted as the hunted became the hunters and the predators became the prey!
