Rewards had been generated.

Daemon’s eyes focused as four System notifications appeared before him.

[Reward 1: Nameless Path Awakening]

Host has entered the first Virendal cultivation stage.

Nameless Bloodline

Status: Active

Current Stage: Awakening

Progression: Stage-based cultivation

Requiem

Status: Independent Sealed Entity

Progression: Unlock percentage, control, and resonance

Current Unlock: 35%

Notice: Only the Nameless Bloodline advances through cultivation stages. Requiem remains a separate entity, and full control requires sufficient Host compatibility and unlock progress.

[Reward 2: Bound of Allegiance]

Host can establish a voluntary loyalty seal with subordinates.

Effects:

Binds the target’s allegiance to Host and all recognized Soul-Bonded Wives.

Allows Host to sense significant hostile or betrayal intent.

Restrictions:

The target must willingly accept the seal. Free thought and ordinary actions remain unaffected.

The seal grants neither invincibility nor absolute obedience. The number of eligible subordinates depends on Host’s bloodline progression. Stronger or higher-ranked targets are more difficult to bind permanently.

[Reward 3: Requiem Unsealing — 35%]

Requiem Entity Unlock Progress: 35%

Effects:

Grants partial access to Requiem’s power without a full takeover.Stabilizes black flame output.Enables brief, controlled bursts of Requiem force.Slightly improves resistance to forced berserk states.

Risk: Requiem’s full consciousness remains sealed. Excessive use can still cause a loss of control.

[Reward 4: Memory Capsule II]

A second fragment of Host’s previous-life memories has been generated.

Recommended Unlock Condition: Requiem unlock progress reaches 40%.

Daemon stared at the notifications for a moment before muttering under his breath.

"This is a lot to take in."

For what felt like an eternity, the System had remained silent regarding major rewards. Now, four had appeared at once, each carrying significant implications for his future.

He had finally received substantial rewards again after what seemed like forever.

More importantly, he had become a cultivator.

Early Awakening Stage.

His body already felt different. The energy within him no longer moved like raw hunter power alone. It possessed structure now, following a distinct path with a clear beginning.

The Nameless Bloodline had stepped onto Virendal’s cultivation road, while Requiem remained an independent, sealed existence at thirty-five percent.

The other rewards were equally valuable.

The Bound of Allegiance, in particular, caught his attention.

In the future, anyone who willingly accepted the seal would be bound not only to him but also to his recognized Soul-Bonded Wives. Such a bond could protect his family in ways ordinary contracts never could.

As for the memory capsules, he had already decided on his next step.

First, he would open Memory Capsule I after returning to Earth.

Everything else could wait.

Rewards could wait.

Right now, his only priority was Morwenna.

Daemon turned his full attention back to her.

She was still hugging him, her arms wrapped tightly around his body as though she feared he might disappear if she loosened her hold.

Hours passed like that.

She clung to him as if afraid that letting go, even for a moment, might condemn her to another four hundred years of silence.

Daemon didn’t rush her.

He held her close, listened patiently, and allowed her to speak at her own pace.

Morwenna shared fragments of her life, though she couldn’t possibly recount four centuries in a single evening. She told him about the years following his death, the burden of ruling alone, and the countless nights she had watched Zephyra sleep while wondering whether their daughter would ever know the sound of her father’s voice.

She spoke carefully, sometimes smiling at a distant memory, sometimes falling silent when the pain became too much.

Daemon listened patiently as Morwenna shared the memories she had carried for four hundred years.

When she finished, he began telling her about his own life on Earth, explaining how dungeons and hunters had shaped his world . He also spoke about Victoria, Sana, Roxanna, and Kassia, telling her about the women who had become part of his life.

As he recounted his experiences, he couldn’t help thinking about how strange fate could be, He had spent so long living without knowing that, in another world, his wife and daughter had been waiting for his return.

Morwenna listened intently, absorbing every detail. Though some things were difficult for her to understand, she never interrupted him unnecessarily. She simply wanted to know everything about the man she had waited so long to see again.

Then, suddenly, her expression changed.

"Daemon," she said slowly. "I can feel something different about you. While we were here together... you entered a cultivation path."

Daemon smiled.

He raised one hand and gently pinched her cheek.

"That’s because of you," he replied. "I broke through. I’m a cultivator now."

Morwenna blinked in confusion.

"What did I do?"

"I’ll explain how my power works later." He brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "Right now, tell me what we should do."

As he spoke, his hand slid down her back and settled over her backside. He gave it a gentle squeeze, making his intentions clear without being rough.

Morwenna immediately noticed the gesture.

She also became aware of the hardness pressing against her stomach.

Her face flushed crimson.

She understood what he wanted.

And she wanted it, too.

Centuries of silence dissolved the second he said the word wife again, tearing open a wound of longing she’d kept tightly stitched for lifetimes.

Her heart screamed for his tenderness, while her body burned wherever he touched, a traitorous heat she couldn’t pretend to ignore.

Yet, despite her desire, voicing it aloud proved difficult.

Her fingers tightened around his clothes as she struggled to overcome her shyness.

Daemon watched her quietly, giving her time to gather her courage. He had no intention of forcing her to say or do anything before she was ready.

Morwenna lowered her lashes, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.

After Daemon’s death, she had never allowed another man into her life. For centuries, her heart had belonged to him alone, and even the most unbearable loneliness could never change that.

In the early years, her loneliness sometimes became unbearable, and she occasionally touched herself to relieve the desire she had suppressed for so long.

However, afterward, guilt would wash over her as thoughts of Daemon filled her mind. No matter how much temporary pleasure she found, it could never replace the warmth and intimacy she had shared with her beloved husband.

Eventually, she stopped seeking such relief altogether.

Instead, she turned to the intimate books and illustrations she had discovered over the years, studying them in the solitude of her chambers.

Whenever her longing grew too strong, she would lose herself in those pages, imagining what it might be like to hold Daemon in her arms again.

Four hundred years without her husband’s touch had been an agonizing test of patience. Yet she had endured it, remaining faithful to the man she had loved beyond death itself.

But now, he was finally here.

She no longer had to live on memories or imagination. Her husband had returned to her, and she intended to cherish every moment they had together.

Moreover, the knowledge she had gained from those books had given her a few ideas of her own.

A faint, mischievous spark flickered in her eyes as she thought about surprising him with something he might never expect from her.

Despite her embarrassment, she drew closer to him, her voice barely audible.

"...I want to mate with you."
