Chapter 1592: Chapter 1592: Immortal Realm Gate

At first, Ao Bo was quite excited, but upon hearing of the presence of an Immortal Monarch surviving from Ancient Times within the Demon Race forces, he gradually calmed down.

In the end, he could only vent his anger by breaking the mountains underfoot.

He also understood how vast the opponent’s forces were; though his heart burned with rage, there was nothing he could do.

Yang Yan continued, "I’m not afraid of them causing trouble for me now, but I’m worried they’ll strike against you. Therefore, I hope you can stay here, otherwise..."

Yang Yan did not finish, but his meaning was clear.

Blood Slaughter and others showed a pensive look in their eyes, nodding subconsciously.

After a moment, Blood Slaughter helplessly said, "Ah well, we old folks are tired, let us spend our remaining years in peace here!"

With Blood Slaughter and the others expressing this sentiment, the rest, though reluctant, begrudgingly agreed.

However, Lin Zimu and Ao Tian were determined to accompany Yang Yan on his battles outside.

Yang Yan couldn’t persuade them otherwise, and could only agree.

To speak strictly, Ao Tian and Lin Zimu’s strength is not weak.

One could say, if Yang Yan does not use the World Tree, defeating them would take considerable effort.

Lin Zimu, having experienced great sorrow and joy, unexpectedly made his strength grow rapidly and has now reached late Saint Realm.

However, he possesses the Destruction Rule, Space Rules, and his own Sword Dao Will.

Though Sword Dao is not among the Three Thousand Rules, it is incredibly powerful.

Just like Xuanyuan, though he himself did not master any rule, one of his incarnations holding the Xuanyuan Sword once shattered the incarnation of the Ancestor of the Post-Immortal Race, and even wounded the Ancestor’s Origin.

Lin Zimu devoted his life to the sword, after countless hardships he ultimately realized the Sword Dao Will.

At present he may appear understated, but Yang Yan understands that when the will within him awakens, he can transform into the sharpest sword in the world capable of severing all things.

Ao Tian, on the other hand, remains somewhat mysterious.

Yang Yan still does not know his true identity.

He only knows Ao Tian bears the Law of Ice, along with an extremely mysterious Cause and Effect Law.

It is known that, even now, Yang Yan has not realized the Cause and Effect Law.

Legend has it that to fully comprehend the Cause and Effect Law, to command the Cause and Effect Origin, one can sever another’s karma, making them disappear in All Heavens and Myriad Worlds.

With the two of them by Yang Yan’s side, he is also reassured.

Some stayed behind to continue observing the changes of the Void-Devouring Tiger, while others started arranging Yang Yan’s small world.

Subsequently, Yang Yan took Ao Tian and Lin Zimu and left his small world.

Together they discussed further matters with Fu Xi and the others.

Meanwhile, in an unknown place, there lay heaps of planetary remnants, occasionally amidst them drifted fragmented small worlds.

Space storms raged through the area, continually breaking apart planetary remnants into fragments.

A group of black-robed individuals cautiously traversed the space storm, silently advancing toward the depths.

Vaguely, not far from them, stood a bronze gate.

The bronze gate seemed to connect heaven and earth, continually circulating chaotic qi above it.

The figures of All Heavens and Myriad Races were inscribed onto the bronze gate.

The foundation of the gateway was made up of countless planets stacked together.

Though these planets have now lost their vitality, the faint flicker of immortal qi within them, the ruins of palaces, arrays shimmering with killing intent... all bear witness to the planets’ former glory.

Wrapped around the pillars on either side of the bronze gate were ninety-nine True Dragons.

Though these dragons have now lost their life force, the scales emitting cold light and the majestic pressure they exude still attest to their former might.

The leading black-robed individual excitedly spoke, "The Immortal Realm Gate, we have finally found it."

Another behind him flashed a glimmer of frenzy in his eyes, suddenly stepping forward.

Although the bronze gate appeared extremely close, that cultivator entered a different space, perpetually advancing yet unmoving.

As he felt something unusual, he hurriedly retreated.

At that moment, his body rapidly withered, turning from a robust man into a skeleton.

The leader of the black-robed cultivators’ face changed slightly, snorted coldly, as if the death of that cultivator was as insignificant as an ant.

Suddenly, in front of the leading black-robed cultivator appeared a person clad in red robes.

The black-robed cultivator’s face altered dramatically, hurriedly respected, saying:

"Lord Murong."

Murong Cheng’s expression remained unchanged, a pale yellow Compass appeared in his hand, filled with dense Immortal Artifact.

He sneered, "Never thought, the item acquired from the Immortal Realm back then, now finds its use here."

"Humph! Did those of the Immortal Realm ever anticipate this day would come?"

"It’s been tens of thousands of years, I, Murong Cheng, have finally returned. Some people in the Immortal Realm, you wait, for all from back then I will reclaim!"

Saying this, Murong Cheng activated the Compass in his hand.

Hum—

The Compass gently trembled, immediately emitting a faint glow.

The next moment, an extremely complex Array slowly emerged, the aura of the Great Dao surged, causing the surrounding space to shake.

The Array was illusory, some parts appeared slightly tattered, a poignant aura swept over.

The Compass floated in the Void, gently swaying, projecting a miniature cosmos within it.

Murong Cheng’s eyes flashed with joy, hastily said, "Quickly follow me, this Heaven-Deceiving Compass is incomplete, unable to protect us for long."

That Heaven-Deceiving Compass projected cosmos transformed into a starry path, leading directly to the front of the Immortal Realm Gate.

The True Dragons coiled around the Immortal Realm Gate seemed to sense a foreign presence approaching, slowly awakened, opening their millions-years-closed eyes.

The eyes of those True Dragons resembled stars, upon opening, their pale golden pupils faintly contained cosmic collapse.

Pale golden light shot out from their eyes, an unparalleled pressure descended upon the black-robed people.

Within merely an instant, two of the black-robed individuals were obliterated under the pressure, turning into blood mist.

Murong Cheng’s face changed slightly, the Immortal Slaying Saber instantly appeared in his hand.

With a single slash, a pitch-black blade light shattered the pressure, continuing its momentum towards the True Dragons.

Just as it was about to fall upon the True Dragons’ bodies, the Immortal Realm Gate suddenly emitted a tremendous celestial sound.

Boom—

An invisible ripple fell upon the pitch-black blade light.

That blade light, like snow under the scorching sun, slowly melted away.

Murong Cheng said solemnly, "Worthy of that Immortal Emperor’s craftsmanship back then. Unexpectedly, after tens of thousands of years, this Immortal Emperor’s restriction has not yet dissipated."

"However, I, Murong Cheng, am not the same as I was back then, fleeing from the Immortal Realm like a defeated dog. This Immortal Emperor’s restriction and these Mixed-blood Divine Dragons can no longer hinder me."
