The pictures sent from Illusion City showed that the Northern Island was filled with lamentations, and the Kao Shan Sect was also attacked extremely brutally. Zijing City was quiet, except for a few injured people outside the gate, the city gates were tightly shut. Inside, everyone sat in the training ground, with a few women surprisingly at the front.

Among these women, some were preparing medicinal herbs, some preparing meals, some getting blankets ready, and some mending clothes.

These were all Tang Rao's women. After the disaster struck, they stood at the forefront without hesitation, showing everyone with their actions that even if Tang Rao was not there, those left behind could not possibly be cowards.

Tang Rao assured his brothers, as long as he's around, he won't let them suffer.

Without Tang Rao, they had to be strong and become the backbone of the entire Kao Shan Sect. When the real backbone returned, they could finally shed the pretense and lean on Tang Rao, the real backbone, for a sense of security.

Though not spoken, they all knew in their hearts that without Tang Rao, being the support for the sect was not something just anyone could handle.

Whether or not there was a problem, Tang Rao knew better than anyone, this wasn't what it looked like having no problem. Heavenly Dao was formally declaring war, and this was just a warning to Tang Rao of the consequences of meddling in his territory.
