The Peerless Beauty Stuck With Me

Chapter 1954 - 1953: Slay the Heavenly Dao

How can the Heavenly Dao allow these people to continue plotting against him?

"Once you've finished discussing, come at me all at once, or you'll all become souls under my command!"

The Heavenly Dao was originally just a phantom, but once he gathered his energy, he became different.

His phantom body was covered with small granules, which fell to the ground in batches, quickly growing at a speed visible to the naked eye, until they formed into shadowy people.

Not just one or a few, but many, so numerous that they made one's skin crawl, even causing Tang Rao to feel nauseated.

If it were just sheer numbers, it would be fine, but each one was at the pinnacle of post-god strength. Compared to the Heavenly Dao, Tang Rao's side was like heaven and earth apart.

The strength of those behind him was uneven, some good, some bad, and their cooperation was less than seamless. But with the Heavenly Dao, it was different; overall, they all shared one brain, controlled by the Heavenly Dao alone. One person controlling so many to trouble Tang Rao, how could Tang Rao accept this?

"Go, let them see what a true strongman is!"

With a command from Heavenly Dao, these life-sized figures sprang forward, attacking directly with lethal force.

"What is a strongman? This is a strongman!"

Yes, so powerful that they seemed capable of swallowing up a whole group at any moment.

Too strong, strong enough to attack Tang Rao with a group, leaving him with no resistance.

It wasn't until now that Tang Rao finally understood why Tang Lei didn't want him to engage with the Heavenly Dao prematurely. This phantom that travels alone could at any moment unleash his deadly sword, catching people completely off guard.

"This damn thing is simply a monster, I can't beat it!"

Tang Rao was at the pinnacle of post-god strength, even crossing levels, he could take on ten or eight at most. But this disparity of thousands, tens of thousands, is something no normal person could handle.

"I'm struggling too; the Heavenly Dao hadn't reached such transformation in years, yet now his strength has advanced considerably."

"What? Why didn't you say earlier?"

Tang Rao immediately admitted defeat.

In the face of absolute power, everything else is trivial.

Even if it means losing face, the first thing he must do is save face.

"What good would it do for me to have said? You rushed in to find the Heavenly Dao; what could I do?"

This indeed couldn't be blamed on Tang Lei; it's just that despite all the words said, Tang Rao refused to listen to a single one.

Otherwise, things wouldn't have turned out this way.

"But I regret it now, what do I do?"

Tang Lei shrugged; if regret could be bottled, it would certainly sell out completely.

"Fight like you used to, you used to beat him, why can't you now?"

Tang Lei couldn't think of a better way to encourage Tang Rao.

He actually had great faith in Tang Rao defeating the Heavenly Dao, who could have imagined the Heavenly Dao's strength would exceed everyone's expectations?

The past?

Tang Rao couldn't recall it at all—the past had already turned into a mirage.

"Can't remember, honestly can't; thinking too much gives me a headache!"

Tang Rao waved his hand repeatedly while having to fend off those constantly trying to attack him.

"That's bullshit; if you don't think, you'll be in a world of pain. Do you prefer a headache or something worse? Choose for yourself."

Headache or otherwise, Tang Rao wanted neither.

"Tang Rao, I'm saying it again, there are plenty of little flyers from the Heavenly Dao. If you don't think, we'll all be finished."

In a moment of carelessness, Tang Lei was struck to the ground by the Heavenly Dao.

He was nearly buried, yet was beaten so badly. Tang Lei admitted he was getting old, gradually unable to withstand it.

"Son, take care of your mother."

With just one more strike, Tang Lei would surely perish. Fortunately, the blow aimed to intercept gave him a respite.

"What nonsense are you saying? I can't even take care of my own women; do you expect me to care for yours?"

This remark was so domineering it moved Tang Lei a bit.

But the people in front of him hadn't diminished; instead, they were increasing at a speed visible to the eye.

"Tang Rao, try the Poison Liquid I developed for you last time!"

As Tang Rao was at a loss, unable to think of anything besides guns to control these ghost-like entities, Yan Wei suddenly sent a message, immediately letting Tang Rao know of another tactical option.

"Poison Liquid? I've got a whole bunch of that spray!"

What Yan Wei provided was a kind of compression backpack sprayer, common on Blue Star, which after being brought to the Divine Realm became Tang Rao's treasured asset.

And that Poison Liquid; Tang Rao had never seen anything more potent.

Wherever sprayed was doomed; if Tang Rao wanted, a single spray could affect a large swath without issue.

"Everyone, stand back a bit. Dad, take them all away."

Tang Lei obeyed every command from Tang Rao. Once the family stopped surrounding him, Tang Rao took out the sprayer and began spraying towards the approaching members of the Heavenly Dao Sect.

The Heavenly Dao had never seen these before, initially thinking it was just a minor trick by Tang Rao, until his dispatched lines of men vanished before his eyes. Only then did he realize Tang Rao had once again set a new record.

"Hahaha, so I guessed right. Isn't having a lot of men great? Send out all your people, after all, you're not afraid, are you? How does it feel to see your own people being wiped out by outsiders?"

Was Tang Rao mocking the Heavenly Dao or taunting it?

The Heavenly Dao didn't dare send more men. Neither did he dare act rashly.

"Damn right I'm going to spray your people, so you can watch as everyone around you starts disappearing one by one."

Tang Rao sprayed the liquid in all directions. Everything it touched got sprayed thoroughly.

Those sprayed were directly corroded, much quicker than Tang Rao could manage through hand-to-hand combat.

"Aren't you backed by those post-god pinnacle fighters? Bring them on, as many as you want."

With something in his hands, he spoke much more confidently.

Seeing the power in Tang Rao's hands, the Heavenly Dao had to rethink every step ahead.

"Is this your little trick?"

The remaining unformed granules were reabsorbed by the Heavenly Dao.

Creating a retinue isn't as easy as it looks; the death of these thousands is like cutting flesh from the Heavenly Dao, causing significant heartache.

"No, there are plenty more big tricks; why don't you try again?"

Out of nowhere, Tang Rao pulled out a sniper rifle. Though called a sniper rifle, it differed greatly from a regular one; its bore was markedly unique compared to others.
