Chapter 163: Chapter 162: You Can Chat, but Must You Cue the Boss Every Time?

[That kick was so badass!]

[Ian Neal is so handsome too!]

[I can’t believe I lived to see this! Thank you to the production team!]

[Thank God for Miss Innocent! Her presence means there’s no shady business on this show!]

[OMG, I’m dying!]

[Ahhhhh! That chair dance segment killed me!]

[I didn’t expect Sagan to have a sexy side.]

[The other guys were amazing too!]

[Dylan Summers is usually so sweet, but on stage, he’s like a fierce little wolf!]

[Ten gorgeous guys, each with their own style! Does anyone get how amazing this is, fam?!]

[Mommy, this man is seducing me.]

Major bloggers immediately uploaded edited clips of Sagan’s solo cut and the ten-member group dance. Sagan’s fans took it a step further. The chair dance segment was originally only thirty-something seconds long, but some fans zoomed in, broadcasting his close-up moves from 360-degree angles without a single blind spot.

Every single one of them had fans making edits for them!

Fans at the live venue also contributed countless videos, capturing the performance from every imaginable angle.

...

The performance ended.

The ten of them stood neatly on stage, with Samson at the very edge. Everyone’s faces brimmed with joy—after all, they had done it. Panting, the ten bowed and moved to the center of the stage to wait for the brief interview segment. The host walked up, clapping. "You guys were absolutely amazing! And Samson’s addition was such a wonderful surprise!"

The host stood to the side as etiquette ladies brought over trays with microphones—exactly ten of them, one for each person. There was no helping it; President Rian was just that wealthy and generous.

Looking at the audience, the host smiled and said, "This is the first time I’ve ever seen eleven microphones on stage at the same time."

The audience chuckled at that. Then, another host’s voice chimed in, "Well, we have to thank our generous sponsor for that. As both the investor and the organizer, Radiant Entertainment’s financial resources are naturally immeasurable."

The host cued Rian Sinclair. The broadcast director tactfully cut to a shot of their big boss, instantly drawing wave after wave of cheers from the audience. Online, the barrage of comments multiplied exponentially the moment viewers saw Miss Innocent.

Watching the live broadcast from another area, the chief director couldn’t help but click his tongue. "Our boss really is incredibly famous. It’s a shame she didn’t become an artist."

Beside him, the assistant director rolled his eyes. "What are you talking about? Let the big boss be an artist? What about her billions in assets? I can’t believe you even thought of that. Does she look like she needs the pocket change the entertainment industry has to offer?"

The chief director scratched his head awkwardly. "Isn’t it just a professional habit?"

...

Seeing her own face appear on the big screen, Rian felt a bit helpless. She smiled and waved at the camera, which instantly triggered another wave of screams from the fans.

Quentin Sinclair, sitting beside her, handed her a microphone. Realizing she couldn’t escape, Rian resigned herself to her fate, taking it and speaking into the camera.

"Are you all happy tonight, fans?"

A neat, unified shout echoed from the audience in response: "Happy!"

Rian’s lips curled up slightly. "In that case, let’s keep watching the performances and keep the happiness going."

With that, Rian put down the microphone and signaled for the host to continue the program. The chief director didn’t dare say a word. This was the big boss; the fact that she hadn’t thrown a fit was a blessing in itself. He quickly instructed the hosts to move the show along.

The fans in the back were momentarily left speechless. Soon after, a rather resentful "Ah~" echoed through the crowd.

Knowing Rian’s status, the host naturally didn’t dare make the boss say anything more. He threw the topic back to the group, letting each member share their experiences.

Time quietly slipped by.

It was time for the final performance, which was Sagan’s solo.

The song started gentle before shifting into a rap style. The stylist had put him in an extremely bold and trendy outfit: a rose-red hoodie layered over a large white T-shirt. The distressed hem and unique tassels of the white tee added to the overall edgy vibe, paired with dark, loose, ripped jeans.

Rose-red was a notoriously difficult color to pull off; wear it wrong, and it looked incredibly tacky. But Sagan was tall, with perfect proportions—a small face and long legs. Coupled with his outstanding aura and fair skin, the outfit didn’t look the least bit gaudy on him.

The stylist had given Sagan a youthful hairstyle, with thick bangs that nearly covered his eyes, making his face look even smaller.

After the full hair and makeup styling, Sagan looked like a completely different person than usual, yet strikingly eye-catching. There was truth to the saying that truly good-looking people would look good even draped in a burlap sack.

The stage lights dimmed. Sagan stepped up, struck his pose, and waited for the music to start.

As the accompaniment played, Sagan’s incredibly alluring voice rang out. The song began, and his body moved to the beat.

His voice was like a little hook, capturing everyone’s heartstrings the moment he sang. He twisted his body to the rhythm, his fluid dance moves flawlessly displaying his physical advantages.

Long legs, slender limbs, expansive movements—his actions were exceedingly smooth and graceful.

His singing and dancing complemented each other flawlessly. Despite the large, sweeping dance moves, his voice didn’t waver in the slightest. You couldn’t even hear him breathe, showcasing his technique to the fullest.

After the first verse, the song’s style abruptly shifted, suddenly becoming intense. Sagan’s expression changed, pulling away from the sexy stage vibe to execute grand, explosive, and domineering moves.

As the song transitioned from soft to explosive, Sagan was like a wild beast uncaged on stage, ready to tear through the audience’s visual and auditory senses at any moment. His stage presence grew even more commanding, so electrifying that no one could tear their eyes away.

With the fall of the final note, Sagan held his ending pose. His slightly heaving chest was the only proof of how explosive that performance had just been. He tried his best to steady his breathing, his heart pounding so hard from excitement that it felt like it would leap out of his chest.

...

Rian listened to the very end, slowly raising her hands to applaud the person on stage. Sagan truly was excellent.

"This system was right, wasn’t it? Host, hurry up and become a fan of Sagan with me! Becoming his fan is a guaranteed win!"

"I won’t be a fan."

The system had been waiting for its host’s agreement, only to hear this instead. "Doesn’t the host also think Sagan is excellent?"

"He’s excellent, yes. I purely appreciate him, but I have no interest in being a fan."

The system didn’t speak again, probably off to process those words. Hopefully, whatever it was looking up wouldn’t fry its CPU.

It seemed this system only liked Sagan. Suisui didn’t even mention the other nine LE members sitting nearby once, keeping its eyes entirely fixed on Sagan on stage.

Sensing her gaze, Ian Neal turned his head, his eyes meeting President Rian’s. He immediately bowed respectfully. Seeing this, Rian smiled and waved her hand dismissively before returning her attention to the stage.

Then came the final wrap-up. After asking a few simple questions, the host invited the LE members back onto the stage.

The ten of them stood neatly together, waving to the fans. The cheers were so loud they nearly blew the roof off the stadium. Although the young men’s faces were covered in sweat, the joy and yearning in their eyes couldn’t be faked.

But beyond those emotions, what shone through the most was confidence and pride. Surviving as the final ten out of a hundred was the ultimate validation of their hard work.
