The Rebate Tycoon: Spend on Him, Get Rich
Chapter 60: Quentin Sinclair Means Work
Chapter 60: Chapter 60: Quentin Sinclair Means Work
The viewers in Quillon’s stream had mixed opinions. Some called Quillon a noob for losing in a Platinum match, but of course, others analyzed the situation.
[To be honest, the enemy’s Nico played that really well. I would’ve died too. Who would’ve thought he’d fake his vision?]
[The enemy Luna faked going to the top lane, let The Old Master go, and ganked Helen of Troy instead. We thought Nico’s vision meant they were going for The Old Master, but they were actually camping Kaelan in the red buff area.]
[With that analysis, this Luna and Gaia are absolutely terrifying!]
[As expected, people who play Luna and Gaia are completely devious!]
Rian Sinclair naturally saw Nico’s kill and couldn’t help but praise him. "Awesome."
Upon hearing Miss Innocent’s praise, Nico smiled shyly. "Miss Innocent, your Luna is really flashy and awesome too!"
Rian shook her head and didn’t reply. She controlled Luna, using the Cloud Ruler in the enemy’s top lane jungle as a springboard, and directly dove the tower with Yo-yo to kill the enemy’s The Old Master. Rian’s teammates were all quite good this match. With Yo-yo’s protection, Rian’s Luna was able to do whatever she wanted throughout the entire game. On the enemy side, Quillon had to constantly watch out for Luna’s shadow even while farming his own jungle.
Kaelan’s gold was so suppressed that he had no choice but to leech off the minion waves. Ariel naturally knew that Kaelan needed gold to be effective. "Quillon, feel free to take the mid lane wave. I’ll go support the side lanes."
As a jungler, Quillon had actually wanted to take the mid lane wave for a while, but he was afraid that if he got too used to doing it smoothly, he’d tilt the mage into oblivion. Hearing Ariel willingly give up her lane, he immediately controlled Kaelan to clear the mid lane wave. As he farmed the wave, Quillon’s Kaelan praised her, "Ariel truly lives up to being a top-tier mage!"
Ariel was utterly confused. Giving up the mid lane equaled being a top-tier mage!?
The fans in Quillon’s stream immediately flooded the chat.
[Quillon’s top-tier comprehension!]
[Mid lane utility = Top-tier mage.]
[Taking notes! Next time I want to take the mid wave, I’ll say the exact same thing to my mage!]
[I’m gonna queue up for a game and try this out right now.]
[Don’t do it, person above me! I just surrendered at six minutes. My mage cursed out my ancestors to the eighteenth generation. I feel like I’ll never love again in this lifetime.]
[Hahahahahaha, I’m dying of laughter!]
[As someone who frequently plays mid, the mid wave is literally my life!]
At the ten-minute turning point, the Tyrant spawned. No matter what, they couldn’t afford to give it up. Quillon pinged to group up. Rian also led her teammates to the vicinity of the Dragon’s Pit. As they arrived outside the pit, the enemy’s The Old Master pushed forward, while Ariel’s Helen of Troy kept a close eye on Luna’s position. The enemy’s strategy was to stop them from stealing the objective.
Rian’s Luna continuously basic-attacked to stack her passive moonlight marks. Once her passive was fully stacked, Rian didn’t rush forward immediately; after all, she was afraid of scaring Kaelan away. The enemy Kaelan was also anxious, constantly keeping an eye on the opposing Luna. Helen of Troy activated her Ultimate to pull someone, but instead of catching Luna, she ended up pulling the bystander, Lady Sunfire. The enemy’s The Old Master also failed to tie up Luna; he only managed to lock down Torvin, who was tanking damage in the front.
Seeing that The Overlord’s health was about to hit rock bottom, Rian launched her attack. First, she used an enhanced basic attack to mark The Old Master, who was right in her face and busy hammering Torvin. Using The Old Master as a springboard, she used her Ultimate, New Moon Assault, and dashed straight into the Dragon’s Pit. Upon entering the pit, she threw out her one skill, marking both the monster and the enemies simultaneously, followed by another New Moon Assault.
The enemy Kaelan’s health plummeted rapidly. Quillon didn’t dare get greedy; he used his Second Skill to retreat from the pit, preparing to contest with Punishment. With The Overlord’s health barely remaining, Kaelan readied the knock-up from his one skill to dash back into the pit, hoping to knock Luna airborne and seize the opportunity to secure The Overlord with Punishment. However, Rian dragged her movement joystick to the left, repositioning Luna two paces toward the pit’s left wall. Kaelan’s knock-up missed completely.
Seeing this, Quillon felt a sense of impending doom. He just wanted to use Punishment on The Overlord. Luna’s Second Skill missed slightly, but the Tyrant was successfully secured by Luna’s team. Reacting too late, Quillon couldn’t escape even if he wanted to. Luna’s New Moon Assault finished off Kaelan. She then turned around to snatch the kill on Helen of Troy.
DOUBLE KILL!
Nico’s Gaia had her Ultimate ready as well, and he immediately fired it off, claiming the lives of The Old Master and Yo-yo. Only Rhys remained, who burned his Second Skill and Flash to escape.

It was a two-for-four trade. Not a bad trade at all!
What followed was a one-sided show starring Luna and Gaia. By the time the game reached the sixteen-minute mark, with the kill score sitting at 16 to 5, the enemy team was on the verge of a mental breakdown.
Rian’s team pushed the minion wave directly up to the enemy’s high ground. Under their shotcalling, Torvin immediately jumped in with his Ultimate as soon as the minions entered the tower’s range. The Old Master tried to tie someone up but was knocked airborne instead! The enemy’s Yo-yo jumped down from their marksman’s head. Left with no mobility, her passive was triggered, turning her into a deer. She immediately shifted back and frantically tapped her Ultimate, coincidentally attaching herself to Kaelan—the very player who had been begging for a support since the start of the game.
Spotting the perfect opportunity, Rian swept her Crescent Moon Slash across the enemies, applying her marks. She used her Ultimate, New Moon Assault, to dash directly in front of the enemy marksman, just as the opposing Rhys was about to use his Second Skill to flee. The sword gleam from Rian’s Luna’s Second Skill pulled Rhys right back in. New Moon Assault, basic attack, New Moon Assault—she instantly deleted Rhys. Immediately after, bolstered by her teammates’ damage, Rian’s Luna used a marked minion to dash right into the face of a low-health Helen of Troy.
DOUBLE KILL!
She then finished off Yo-yo, who had fallen off Kaelan’s head and had been sleepwalking through the entire match!
TRIPLE KILL!
The Yo-yo on Luna’s head was also knocked down and focused to death, but Luna herself remained standing! Luna’s elegant figure weaved between the Crystal and the high ground towers, snatching the kill on The Old Master, whom her teammates had been painstakingly fighting for ages.
QUADRA KILL!
Their Torvin eventually fell to the combined damage of the tower and the enemy team, while the squishy Lady Sunfire was assassinated by the enemy Kaelan. However, Kaelan was the only enemy left alive. Seeing that the enemy had secured a Quadra Kill, Quillon fled frantically, dead set on not feeding Luna a Penta Kill.
Realizing she couldn’t catch him, Rian was about to give up when she heard Nico’s voice.
"Miss Innocent! Watch my Second and Third Skills!"
Square! Teleportation!
Rian watched as Kaelan’s escape route was completely sealed off. Rian’s Luna marked Kaelan with her one skill, Crescent Moon Slash, chased him down with New Moon Assault, and landed a basic attack! Kaelan used his Second Skill to run, but Luna pursued with another New Moon Assault. Finally, Quillon’s Kaelan fell. The purple-clad figure stood triumphantly in the canyon!

This instantly triggered the hero’s voice line broadcast: "As for destiny, the one arranged by the heavens is the greatest."
PENTA KILL!
With the enemy’s high ground destroyed and the minion wave arriving, they quickly demolished the enemy’s Crystal.
BOOM!
VICTORY!
The MVP of the match naturally went to Rian’s 13-0-5 Luna.
"As for destiny, the one arranged by the heavens is the greatest." (Just to clarify for those who don’t know, this is the hero’s sound effect during the settlement screen.)
Seeing Miss Innocent secure a Penta Kill, Nico was even more excited than if he had gotten one himself. "Miss Innocent, you’re amazing!"
Nico’s stream chat exploded with comments, all praising The Innocent Heiress’s Luna for being absolutely spectacular.
They played a few more matches afterward and won them all. Rian’s rank had now reached Diamond I with two stars, entirely thanks to the Star Addition Cards and the points accumulated from her win streak. Rian said her goodbyes and exited the game. After sending a few gifts in Nico’s stream, she logged off Sharkstream.
Noticing it was just barely noon, she went downstairs to have lunch. While lazily basking in the sun in the courtyard, with Bandage running all over the lawn, Rian thought she saw a very familiar figure walking toward her.
"Miss, didn’t you say you were going to check out Xinxing Technology today?"
Rian looked at the approaching Quentin Sinclair, suddenly speechless. His appearance meant it was time to get busy with work again.
Sigh! Being a boss was tiring!
