Chapter 827: 827. Murong Family

The flying ship pierced through the thick layers of clouds, leaving behind a long trail of white mist. The enormous vessel moved steadily through the sky, its formation engines humming softly as spiritual energy flowed through the intricate patterns engraved beneath its deck.

Inside the luxurious cabin, Tyler was reclining comfortably on a wide chair.

The journey toward the Murong Clan should have been a solemn one. After all, they were heading toward one of the most powerful ancient clans in the region. Any ordinary cultivator would have been sitting upright, carefully preparing themselves for what was to come.

Tyler, however, looked completely relaxed.

Three figures were currently sitting around him—or more accurately, sitting comfortably on his lap.

The Sinclair Sisters had apparently decided that traveling was the perfect opportunity to enjoy their master’s attention.

Lala leaned against his chest, while Momo occupied the other side. Nana, meanwhile, was sitting slightly lower and calmly massaging Tyler’s legs.

Tyler closed his eyes.

"Ah... this is comfortable."

"Where is Sister Suzuka?" Lala suddenly asked.

Momo immediately chuckled.

"She’s still hiding in her room. She’s embarrassed about what happened before."

Tyler opened one eye.

He understood exactly what Momo meant.

After all, Suzuka had recently experienced something that had left her far too embarrassed to face everyone. Even though she usually acted calm and composed, the current situation had completely destroyed that image.

"She’ll come out eventually," Tyler said casually while touching his lips.

Nana continued massaging his legs without saying anything.

At that moment, a long, exaggerated sigh came from beside them.

"Ah... how nice..."

The voice contained so much envy that even the clouds outside seemed to tremble.

Tyler and the three sisters completely ignored it.

Sky Demoness sat in the neighboring reclining chair, staring at them with an expression of profound dissatisfaction.

She crossed her arms.

Nobody responded.

She waited.

Still nothing.

"At least say something!"

Her shout finally broke the peaceful atmosphere.

Tyler glanced at her.

"What?"

Sky Demoness pointed toward the three sisters.

"Hey, Tyler. Let me borrow them for a while."

"Nope."

His answer came so quickly that Sky Demoness’s mouth twitched.

"I’ll give you my girls."

Tyler calmly shook his head.

"I already tasted them."

Sky Demoness froze.

For a moment, she looked at Tyler.

Then she covered her face with one hand.

"It’s my fault, for giving them without any conditions..."

She muttered those words with deep regret.

Tyler had no intention of asking what she meant. Their relationship had already become strange enough that trying to understand her thoughts was often more dangerous than fighting a powerful Cultivator.

Before Sky Demoness could continue her complaints, one of the female guards standing nearby suddenly stepped forward.

"Mistress, the Murong Clan’s territory is ahead."

Sky Demoness’s expression changed slightly.

"Already?"

Tyler stood up and walked toward the railing.

The moment he looked down, his eyes narrowed.

A vast blue ocean stretched endlessly beneath the flying ship. The sunlight reflected upon the waves, creating countless sparkling points of light that seemed like pieces of shattered crystal scattered across the sea.

Dozens of islands were scattered across the enormous ocean.

Some were small enough to contain nothing more than forests and beaches. Others were enormous, with towering mountains rising directly from the sea. Their peaks disappeared into the clouds, while waterfalls poured down from the cliffs like silver ribbons.

Between the islands, countless boats moved across the water.

Some were ordinary merchant vessels.

Others were clearly spiritual treasures belonging to powerful cultivators.

At the center of the archipelago stood the largest island.

That was the heart of the Murong Clan.

The clan’s territory covered a vast portion of the island. Grand buildings with elegant curved roofs stretched along the coastline and climbed the lower slopes of the mountains. Ancient stone bridges connected different parts of the island, while smaller islands nearby were connected through formations and floating platforms.

Tall towers stood proudly along the cliffs.

Murong Clan banners fluttered from their peaks.

From above, the entire territory did not resemble an ordinary cultivation clan.

It looked like a kingdom.

A kingdom floating upon the endless sea.

Tyler stared at it for several breaths.

"So this is the Murong Clan..."

Even he had to admit that the scenery was impressive.

Sky Demoness walked over and pointed toward one of the smaller islands.

"I have my own island. Let’s go there."

Tyler looked at the island she had pointed toward.

Compared with the central island, it appeared almost deserted.

The beach was beautiful, the forests were dense, and spiritual energy could be sensed throughout the island. Yet there were barely any buildings.

Tyler turned toward her.

"Yours looks like an uninhabited island."

Sky Demoness’s expression immediately became awkward.

"Stop... That hurts."

Tyler raised an eyebrow.

"It’s been years since I came here," she explained. "Besides, the last time I visited, I accidentally blew up the entire mansion while practicing alchemy."

She laughed awkwardly.

"Because of that, I don’t even have a mansion anymore. Tee-hee."

"Don’t ’tee-hee’ me."

Sky Demoness pouted.

"You’re too serious."

The flying ship soon descended toward the island.

The moment its shadow covered the beach, several powerful auras suddenly erupted from the surrounding area.

"Stop!"

"Identify yourselves!"

A group of cultivators flew into the sky on swords.

Their expressions were cautious as they surrounded the ship.

Tyler glanced at them.

Before he could say anything, Sky Demoness’s aura suddenly exploded.

Boom!

The surrounding spiritual energy violently surged.

The guards’ expressions changed drastically.

They were unable to resist.

One after another, their bodies were forced downward by an invisible pressure. Their knees slammed against the ground, and blood leaked from the corners of their mouths.

The powerful aura of a Peak Golden Core cultivator descended upon them like a mountain.

Sky Demoness’s playful expression disappeared.

Her beautiful face became cold.

"You guys are far too obvious."

Her voice contained no trace of the fluffy tone she usually used around Tyler.

"Was it my brothers who sent you to probe me?"

The guards remained silent.

They clearly knew that admitting the truth would create trouble.

But they also knew that lying to Sky Demoness was even more dangerous.

"Please spare us, Young Miss!"

"We did not intend to offend you!"

"We only followed orders!"

None of them dared to reveal who had sent them.

Sky Demoness narrowed her eyes.

"Hmph."

Before she could continue, several powerful auras approached from the distance. And casually cutting off her qi.

Three handsome men appeared riding custom-made flying boats.

The moment Tyler saw those boats, he immediately recognized them.

They were products of the White Merchant Group. Sky Demoness glanced toward the newcomers.

"Our cute little sister has finally returned."

One of the men laughed.

"Leave the guards alone. They’re merely new recruits."

Sky Demoness immediately smiled.

"Oh... Hello, brothers."

She waved casually.

The atmosphere instantly changed.

The three men landed on the island.

However, before they could even speak, three female figures flew forward from behind Sky Demoness.

There were four Nascent Soul Realm cultivators among her guards. Three of them immediately approached the Murong brothers.

One hugged each brother.

Tyler blinked. He looked at the women. Then he looked at the three brothers. Then he looked at Sky Demoness.

"What is going on?"

Sky Demoness covered her mouth and gave him a sly smile.

"They’re my brothers’ wives."

Tyler’s expression froze.

"They sent their wives together with them to spy on me."

Silence.

Tyler’s eyes widened slightly.

He suddenly remembered the past few months.

The beautiful women who had accompanied Sky Demoness...

The women who had been unusually attentive toward him...

The women who had spent considerable time with him in his bed. Their moans and everything.

Tyler’s expression slowly became strange.

"You mean..."

Sky Demoness nodded without the slightest hesitation.

"Yes."

A faint, mischievous smile appeared on her face. She didn’t speak aloud. Instead, her voice entered Tyler’s mind through spiritual consciousness.

"My brothers sent their wives to keep an eye on me."

Tyler stared at her for several seconds.

Then his gaze shifted toward the three women who had just gone over to the Murong brothers.

"You sent your own sisters-in-law to my bed?"

"They are ok with it."

"That’s not the point!"

Sky Demoness covered her mouth and laughed. Seeing Tyler’s speechless expression seemed to amuse her greatly.

Tyler rubbed his forehead. He had already heard plenty of strange things about the Murong Family, but experiencing it personally was something else entirely. He had originally thought this trip would involve negotiations, family politics, and perhaps a few troublesome elders.

He had not expected to discover that the women he had spent time with were actually the wives of Sky Demoness’s brothers.

What kind of family was this?

As Tyler was still trying to make sense of the situation, he suddenly noticed that one female guard was still standing behind Sky Demoness.

Tyler pointed toward her.

"At least she’s not your sister-in-law, right?"

Sky Demoness glanced at the woman.

"Nope."

Tyler immediately felt relieved.

"Good."

However, the corners of Sky Demoness’s lips slowly curled upward.

"She’s not my sister-in-law."

Tyler’s expression froze.

For some reason, he suddenly had a very bad feeling.

Sky Demoness looked at him with an innocent smile before delivering the final blow.

"She’s my stepmother."

"..."

Tyler’s entire body stiffened.

For the first time since arriving at the Murong Clan, his composure completely collapsed. His foot even slipped half a step backward.

"...What?"

The three Sinclair Sisters stared at Sky Demoness with widened eyes.

Meanwhile, the three Murong brothers were still talking among themselves, completely unaware of the conversation taking place through spiritual consciousness.

Tyler looked at Sky Demoness again.

Then he looked at her stepmother who smiled at him.

His mind went completely blank.

This Murong Family was far more complicated than he had imagined.
