The Rogue Villager Chen Erbao

Chapter 460: I'll Let You Have a Feel

  • Next Chapter

Other than his older brother, Huang Baiwen, he held no one in any regard.

“Second Brother, Elder Huang told all the family descendants to return for a meeting, so of course I had to come back.”

Huang Sanlang showed no sign of displeasure, just a faint smile as he replied.

Huang Baicheng scoffed, his nose in the air as he shouted:

“What damn good is you coming back? The family is on the brink of collapse. What can you possibly do? Get out of the way. Stop being an eyesore. My brother being here is enough. That so-called Governor who just dropped in out of nowhere is nothing…”

His voice was so loud that all the Huang Family descendants in the living room heard him clearly, including Huang Baiwen’s father, Huang Xiangsheng, and Huang Sanlang’s father, Huang Xiangyun.

Huang Sanlang didn’t get angry. He just glanced at his father and sighed inwardly.

‘Sometimes he even wondered… Huang Baicheng’s pathetic demeanor was so similar to his own father’s. Had he been switched at birth? He was actually a bit more like Huang Baiwen…’

Huang Xiangyun had been the black sheep of the previous generation, so for him to have a son as cunning and formidable as Huang Sanlang was almost unbelievable.

Seeing that Huang Sanlang wasn’t talking back, Huang Baicheng grew even more insolent and glared at him.

“Hey, Third Brother, I’m talking to you! Didn’t you hear me? Your presence is completely useless. In fact, Grandfather will just get angry if he sees you. Stop being an eyesore and go make yourself scarce!”

Everyone watched the scene unfold, but not a single person came forward to help Huang Sanlang out of the awkward situation.

Huang Sanlang just gave a soft chuckle, saying nothing as he let Huang Baicheng taunt and ridicule him.

Even Huang Sanlang’s father didn’t speak up to stop it, perhaps for fear of angering his own elder brother, Huang Xiangsheng.

After all, he had managed to be a good-for-nothing for decades entirely thanks to the Huang Family’s support!

‘Just wait a little longer… In a few days, the entire Huang Family will be history, and a new Huang Family will rise to stand at the pinnacle of Binhai once more!’

‘Tonight, sides have been chosen. If Dongfang Ming is going to make a move, it’ll probably be within the next few days. He won’t wait much longer!’

Just as Huang Baicheng was about to start shoving, a stir came from the doorway. Huang Baiwen was back from the banquet.

All eyes turned to him.

Dressed in a well-tailored suit, Huang Baiwen strode in with a calm expression on his face.

“Where’s Grandfather?”

Without glancing at anyone else, he walked straight to his father and asked.

“We’ve been waiting. How did it go?”

Huang Xiangsheng said quietly, looking at his most accomplished son.

Huang Baiwen nodded.

“Everything is under control.”

He glanced at the chaotic living room, his brow furrowed slightly.

“Everyone can disperse. Just keep a low profile for the next few days and don’t cause any trouble…”

He addressed the crowd with an imperious air.

The crowd included his elders as well as his brothers and cousins.

Yet his tone didn’t change in the slightest, as if he were already the master of the Huang Family.

Huang Baicheng sidled up with a fawning smile, taking the briefcase from his older brother.

“My brother’s right! All the unimportant people can leave. And Third Brother, I told you it was pointless for you to come. You’re just an eyesore here, so get lost!”

Huang Baiwen glanced at his younger brother without a word. His gaze brushed past Huang Sanlang, then dismissed him completely.

‘Just a good-for-nothing from the second branch of the family. He had no more rivals left within the Huang Family!’

Huang Xiangsheng swept his gaze over the crowd.

“Baiwen is right. Xiangyu, you stay. The rest of you, leave.”

Huang Xiangyu was Elder Huang’s third son, and also Huang Xiangyun’s younger brother.

Of Elder Huang’s three sons, two were highly capable—everyone except Huang Sanlang’s father. They were the public face and the backbone of the Huang Family.

As for the second son, he was simply the laughingstock of the Huang Family.

Huang Xiangyun felt not the slightest bit of shame. He walked up to his son and said:

“Let’s go. This has nothing to do with us.”

Huang Sanlang lowered his head and followed his father, leaving the villa along with the other junior branches of the Huang Family.

…

Chen Erbao cruised steadily down the road in his beloved sports car.

In the passenger seat, Feng Qingwan was chattering away, nagging him relentlessly.

“Chen Haonan, you’re driving way too slow!”

“That car ahead is so aggressive! Overtake it!”

“Why do you drive like a woman? So slow and indecisive.”

Chen Erbao was getting annoyed by her constant chatter.

“I’m not in a rush, so why are you?”

Feng Qingwan retorted indignantly.

“What? You’re with a gorgeous woman like me and you’re still annoyed? Is that it?”

“Yes.”

Chen Erbao answered honestly.

Feng Qingwan was fuming. With a “HMPH!” from her delicate nose, she turned her head to the side, deciding to ignore Chen Erbao.

Finally getting some peace and quiet, Chen Erbao looked out at the distant metropolis, a continuous line of neon lights, and imagined the city’s rebirth after the coming upheaval.

They soon arrived at the base of Feng Qingwan’s apartment building. Chen Erbao stopped the car and gave her a look, signaling for her to get out.

Feng Qingwan, however, didn’t hurry to get out. Instead, she looked at Chen Erbao, a hesitant expression on her face, looking like she wanted to say something but was holding back.

Chen Erbao knew it wouldn’t be that simple. He rolled his eyes.

“If you have something to say, just say it!”

Feng Qingwan gave an embarrassed smile and tugged on Chen Erbao’s sleeve.

“Chen Haonan, could you help me out with one more boxing match?”

“No!”

Chen Erbao refused flatly.

‘I’m busy. I don’t have time to play games with her.’

Feng Qingwan’s lips immediately formed a pout as she gave Chen Erbao a reproachful look.

“If your little girlfriend found out what you did that night…”

“Stop, stop, stop! When are you ever going to let that go!”

Chen Erbao threw his hands up in surrender.

‘This girl just won’t let it go, will she!’

Seeing that Chen Erbao was showing signs of caving, Feng Qingwan quickly pressed him.

“So, are you going to help me or not?”

Seeing Chen Erbao was still hesitating, she let out a soft whine, begging and trying to act cute.

“Pleeease? Just this once. I’ve never had to beg anyone for anything before. Just help me this one time, okay? C’mon~”

Chen Erbao grimaced, a strange mix of pleasure and pain washing over him.

He was still reluctant to agree. ‘If I say yes to this,’ he thought, ‘this girl will probably latch onto me for good.’

Seeing Chen Erbao still hesitating, Feng Qingwan bit her lip, having made up her mind about something.

She grabbed Chen Erbao’s hand and pressed it directly against her chest.

Chen Erbao jolted and whipped his head around to look at Feng Qingwan. The full, soft feeling under his palm almost made him get hard.

“Wh-what are you doing?”

His lips felt a little dry.

Feng Qingwan’s face was as red as a baboon’s ass, but she kept her eyes on Chen Erbao and whispered:

“I… I’ll let you have a feel… so you’ll help me, right?”

Chen Erbao’s fingers squeezed instinctively. Feng Qingwan let out another soft moan, and the breathy sound almost made him surrender on the spot.

“Don’t do this!”

He forced himself to calm down.

“We won a lot last time, and it’s not like you’re short on cash. Why are you so obsessed with betting on fights? Why does a nice young lady like you enjoy something so violent?”

Feng Qingwan wasn’t having it. “What’s wrong with being a young lady? Men can gamble, so why can’t I?”

Chen Erbao sensed she was getting worked up again, so he decided to keep his mouth shut.
