The Rule-Breaker of the Doomsday Game

Chapter 510: Simplified Coordinates to Another World?

‘I’m in. That was surprisingly easy.’

‘I thought there’d be some defenses. This Celestial Pavilion, this Singularity Space, seems to be some sort of universal observation and regulation device?’

Qi Suian didn’t choose to start killing the moment he followed the trail. Even if he had, given that he still hadn’t fully sorted out and adapted to his own power, he could at most have taken down the portion of the Celestial Pavilion Leader Celestial Dao’s soul consciousness that was present in the Celestial Pavilion.

The entity hadn’t entered with its complete soul consciousness, only a part of it.

This was a conclusion Qi Suian had reached only after observation.

Against the power possessed by this portion of the entity’s soul consciousness manifested in the Celestial Pavilion, even Xu Ziyang, the Red Dragon Flame Demon, could barely hold his own.

Perhaps only an evolved Fire Elemental Flame Demon Zuo Fan and Blood Sea Demon Dragon Mu Can, fighting together, would have a chance at victory.

Xu Ziyang’s upper limit wasn’t very high. After all, he lacked the Undying Fire Element True Technique and a pure Yang fire seed, and he was confined within the category of a Flame Demon.

As for raising his upper limit to increase his strength on his own, that was certainly possible. But he was constantly killing, killing, killing—when would he have the time for quiet contemplation and thought?

The three Spiritual Techniques he cultivated had been modified by Qi Suian. At the introductory stage, they could still be considered Spiritual Techniques, but after reaching minor proficiency, they were no longer Spiritual Techniques at all.

It was unrealistic to expect a breakthrough through enlightenment or a flash of inspiration in battle.

Qi Suian hadn’t installed such a feature in them, so how could Xu Ziyang create something from nothing?

In essence, it was a form of biological modification technology, merely wearing the skin of Spiritual Techniques.

‘The Celestial Pavilion Leader, Celestial Dao, doesn’t have full control over this Singularity Space, the Celestial Pavilion, either. It just has the corresponding permissions.’

“And the entire space is severely damaged,” Qi Suian said softly. “There are hardly any functions left that still work.”

‘If this were a complete Singularity Space, there would be no need for all these petty tricks. The power it could generate would be enough to affect the entire universe.’

Qi Suian began to continue his research and disassembly of the entire Singularity Space.

The entire structure was supported by biotechnology, causing the interior of the Singularity Space to be filled with countless withered, branch-like devices and equipment.

‘The Celestial Pavilion members’ fields of view are fixed in angle and distance. They can only see the area around the conference table; the rest is shrouded in mist.’

‘So they can’t see what lies beyond their range of vision at all.’

‘These people are no idiots. They know about the off-world war and the Tree-Born Demons. If they saw all this, they would definitely start connecting the dots.’

As he spoke, Qi Suian dismantled a useless tree-born structure. Following the trail further, he soon located the Singularity Space’s remaining operational functions and yanked them out.

‘Next is to crack it. This shouldn’t be too hard.’ As he spoke, Qi Suian extracted the data completely, decrypted it, and converted it into a system operation log.

Most of the data was actually useless. Only three parts were of any use.

The first was the coordinate information of the Celestial Pavilion members, the second was the Singularity Space’s operation table, and the last was a data summary report.

‘These coordinates should be in the Central Cosmos.’ Qi Suian found the coordinates of the Celestial Pavilion Leader, Celestial Dao, and by comparing the data, he quickly located the corresponding place.

After correcting the location, his eyes narrowed. ‘The homeworld of the Tree-Born Demons. The place Fei is approaching.’

‘It seems things are getting interesting.’

The Celestial Pavilion Leader, Celestial Dao, was not located on any of the five planets inhabited by humans, but on the former homeworld of the Tree-Born Demons.

However, this didn’t surprise Qi Suian much; it merely confirmed his suspicions.

As for the coordinates of the other members, Qi Suian gave them a cursory glance and lost interest.

They were all on the five human-habitable planets, and as Qi Suian had expected, they were scattered in five remote corners of the universe, extremely far from each other.

If not for the Celestial Pavilion, this Singularity Space, there would be no possibility of communication between them.

He then began to check the Singularity Space’s operation table. It was filled with transmission records, which could be used to trace the founding time and operational structure of the Celestial Pavilion.

Finally, there was the data summary report. This data set was the largest and most important, containing data from the Singularity Space’s monitoring of changes in universal parameters.

It was also the file that took up the most memory.

Qi Suian called it up and finished reviewing it in an instant.

‘Although a lot has been replaced, the report on the changes in universal parameters caused by the invasion of the Spirit Master humans is still here.’

‘It seems that after the parameter changes reached a certain threshold, it was preserved as an important document.’

‘By summarizing the data… is this a world coordinate?’ Qi Suian looked at the world coordinate he had calculated, feeling a little incredulous.

It wasn’t that he had never possessed a world coordinate before. For example, the Doomsday Game had provided him with the world coordinate for the Spirit Master World; otherwise, how would he have descended upon this world in the first place?

‘It’s just a bit too simple, and it’s been too long. I don’t know if it’s still useful, or if the world even still exists at that location.’

Worlds move through the void, though not very quickly, so it was still possible that it could be used.

Qi Suian temporarily recorded it. He just didn’t know if this world coordinate pointed to the former world of the Spirit Masters.

If it was, Qi Suian had no plans to go.

The reason was simple. The Spirit Master humans were once very powerful; they had even wiped out the Tree-Born Demons, who were clearly the overlord civilization of this universe.

Just because they had fallen on hard times now didn’t mean they were always weak.

Yet, for such powerful Spirit Master humans to have to leave their homes behind meant that something had gone wrong with their own world.

It was possible that if Qi Suian arrived at that world, he would only find a barren wasteland, not even worthy of being consumed as sustenance.

So he could only put it aside for now.

‘And then there’s this Singularity Space. Although it’s damaged, it’s still useful.’

‘When the day comes for me to devour this world, I can use this as a springboard.’

‘So I can’t leave it for the Celestial Pavilion. I must enjoy it for myself.’ As he spoke, Qi Suian immediately began to dismantle the Singularity Space.

Although the universe was very reluctant, Qi Suian had no intention of letting it give willingly. So he used brute force to rip the entire Singularity Space out and stuffed it into his own stomach.

‘I don’t have anywhere to store you for now, so just stay in my stomach for a bit.’

Because Qi Suian was a nascent world and his insides were still a chaotic mess, it wasn’t easy for him to open up a space for storage, so he just made do by putting it in his stomach.

Besides, his “stomach” was just a concept, not a real stomach.

‘Next, I should head back.’

‘As for the Celestial Pavilion Leader, Celestial Dao… Fei is about to arrive, so I won’t go over.’

‘Without the Celestial Pavilion, that Singularity Space, he can’t run either.’

If Qi Suian went now, it would make Fei seem a bit redundant.

To avoid making Fei redundant, Qi Suian planned to go back and continue lazing around.

As for the five planets losing their connection without the Celestial Pavilion? What the hell did that have to do with Qi Suian?

After he’d had his fill of watching the fun of a river of blood flowing on Red Meteor, he could just open up the connection between the five planets again. Wouldn’t that be even more fun?

Especially on Red Meteor where he was, with a bunch of madmen in a fierce internal competition, they would probably all turn into Khorne Demons.

When the time comes, they’ll be an invincible, slaughtering force right from the start.

After returning, Qi Suian found that Xu Ziyang and Zuo Fan were fighting again.

But he only glanced at them once without paying much mind. With Zuo Fan’s current protagonist plot armor, he wouldn’t die even if he was beaten black and blue.

At most, he’d just look a bit pathetic.

Then he looked into the cause and effect of the situation and was quite satisfied. “Not bad. Alliance Leader Zuo is about to be forged.”

‘No wonder his protagonist plot armor is developing so quickly. It just needs this final push.’

The people from the five major sects scrambled back. They had witnessed the intensity of the battle between Xu Ziyang and Zuo Fan. If they didn’t choose to merge with the Celestial Spirit Alliance, with no Zuo Fan to stand against Xu Ziyang, they would surely die.

So for their own safety, they could either leave their sects and hide away in some remote place, or they could become part of the Celestial Spirit Alliance.

There was just one prerequisite: they had to survive long enough to complete the alliance assembly without being wiped out by Xu Ziyang, the Red Dragon Flame Demon, and Mu Can, the Blood Sea Demon Dragon.

‘It’s still not enough. I need to add a little more stimulation.’

‘Why not wipe out another major sect? Help them make up their minds.’

‘I’ll have Xu Ziyang and Mu Can go together. As for the unlucky victim… let’s choose Profound Nether Valley.’

—————–

‘My connection to the Celestial Pavilion has been severed???’

A colossal, grayish-white tree was rooted on a withered planet. Its roots delved deep into the planet’s core, filling its entire interior.

Even on the surface, the dense, undulating roots could occasionally be seen.

The tree’s trunk was immense, its bark pockmarked with countless human faces, their eyes shut tight. It had no branching trunk, only a single, closed flower bud at its apex.

The surface of the flower bud was covered in a multitude of strange patterns, forming a vivid, humanoid likeness.

It was the Celestial Pavilion Leader, Celestial Dao. Using a relic left behind by its race, it controlled the Celestial Pavilion Singularity Space, monitoring and patrolling the entire universe.

Due to its fusion with human genes, a mutation had occurred at its genetic foundation, preventing it from passing the Singularity Space’s biological imprint authentication. Thus, it couldn’t gain complete ownership, only the corresponding user rights.

‘The connection was severed after I left. Combined with Yaksha’s sudden death earlier, it was highly likely the work of that powerful being on Red Meteor.’

‘But how on earth did they do it?’ Although the Celestial Pavilion Leader was perplexed, it wasn’t particularly worried.

Even without the Singularity Space, it could still use its own great power to contact its members and connect the planets.

For instance, connecting the soul consciousness of the Celestial Pavilion members was its own power, not something derived from the Singularity Space.

‘It seems a trip to Red Meteor is necessary to investigate.’

It was true that it couldn’t move, but it could create avatars.

On the tree trunk, one of the human faces suddenly opened its eyes. It then struggled free from the trunk, transforming into a wooden figure that gradually took on a human form.
