Han Xiaorui’s eyes were closed. She was sleeping soundly.

Ye Feng kissed her forehead, then gently moved her leg off him.

He got up and started dressing, preparing to get out of bed.

Han Xiaorui was woken by the movement beside her. "Why aren’t you sleeping in?"

Ye Feng chuckled lightly. "It’s already eight o’clock."

"Huh?" Han Xiaorui was stunned, unable to believe it. "It’s that late?"

She listened to the commotion outside, then glanced at the sunlight peeking through the gap in the curtains. "It really isn’t early."

She didn’t have to get up early, but with the sound of children laughing and playing outside, Han Xiaorui couldn’t fall back asleep anyway.

When Ye Feng saw Han Xiaorui getting up, he squeezed toothpaste onto her toothbrush, ran water for her to wash her face, and laid out a clean towel.

Han Xiaoqing, Wu Jiao, and Wu Yao had already been playing outside with the children for about an hour.

"Ye Ling, we’re taking the train. If you don’t want to, I can have your big brother buy you two a plane ticket."

Ye Chen quickly said, "Sister-in-law, I’ll take the train. Planes are too loud; they hurt my ears."

Seeing that everyone else wanted to take the train, Ye Ling had no choice but to go along with it. "Alright, then. I guess it’s going to be a long train ride."

Ye Feng was already annoyed. "If you don’t want to go, you can stay in Shencheng. Or I can buy you a plane ticket and have Xiao Zheng take you."

Old Madam Xu looked at all the people in the house, which was suddenly so much livelier.

In Ye Feng’s presence, Pingping and An’an’s sense of security was off the charts.

Han Xiaoqing took Wu Jiao and Wu Yao to a wholesale market in the city to buy things to send back to their families.

Han Xiaorui covered all of Wu Jiao’s and Wu Yao’s living expenses, from clothing and food to housing and transportation.

Aside from buying a few things to send home now and then, they saved almost all of their salary and bonuses.

This time, they bought a whole sackful of things, which they hauled to the post office to mail home.

Previously, they had already mailed a bag of dried seafood so their families could also enjoy some better food.

Han Xiaoqing said with a smile, "Wu Jiao, Wu Yao, once my sister and brother-in-law get back from their honeymoon, you can have some time off."

Wu Jiao waved her hand. "It’s fine if we don’t. After all, Sister Xiao Rui is so busy. It must be hard for her without us around."

The pay was high and the benefits were good; Wu Jiao and Wu Yao cherished this job very much.
