Chapter 597: Date With Seraphina [1]

The sun was slowly climbing higher into the sky, its warm rays bathing the streets of Elarith City in golden light. It was already approaching afternoon.

Amon walked through the city with a wide smile on his face.

Finally, today, he was going to have a proper date with Seraphina.

And, more importantly, he wasn’t going to let anyone interrupt them this time.

’Please no accidents or sudden attacks. And no one bothering us. Just me and Seraphina.’

The thought alone made him smile even more.

Beside him walked Seraphina. Today, she was dressed differently from her usual academy uniform.

She wore a beautiful crimson dress whose skirt fell just below her knees. A pair of elegant black high heels completed her outfit, making her already graceful figure look even more mature.

Her long golden-blonde hair flowed freely down her back like a waterfall of sunlight, swaying gently whenever she walked.

She wore only minimal makeup, keeping her appearance natural.

And honestly, Amon preferred her that way. To him, she looked absolutely beautiful.

Like a bright sun walking beside him.

Her calm face, golden eyes, rosy lips, and graceful features made it difficult for Amon to look anywhere else.

Even the way her dress fitted around her figure caught his attention.

’She’s seriously beautiful.’ Amon couldn’t help but admire her. ’And somehow, she’s my girlfriend.’

He felt like the luckiest man alive. Seraphina eventually noticed the unusually wide smile on his face.

"You are acting weird, Amon."

Amon looked at her. "According to you, I always do."

Seraphina couldn’t hold back a laugh. "Haha. That’s true."

She looked around the city, taking in the busy streets and various shops.

"So, what should we do today?"

Amon’s smile froze for a moment.

’That’s a good question.’

He had been so focused on finally getting a date with her that he hadn’t actually planned what they were going to do.

He glanced around. Elarith City had plenty of places to visit, but he wasn’t exactly an experienced dater.

’Should we go shopping?’

He immediately shook his head internally.

’Hmm... that’s pretty common.’

He continued walking beside Seraphina, thinking about what they could do.

Then an idea suddenly struck him. A mischievous smile appeared on his face.

"Cough! Cough!"

Seraphina looked at him. "Are you all right?"

"Yeah, yeah."

Amon cleared his throat and pointed toward a nearby street.

"Hey, Seraphina, let’s eat something good first."

Seraphina blinked her golden eyes and titled her head. "Eat?"

"How about Ice Berry ice cream?"

Amon smiled. "It’s pretty hot today, after all."

Seraphina glanced toward the small ice cream stall nearby. Then her lips curved slightly up as she smiled. "Sure. I’d love that."

"Perfect!" Amon immediately changed direction. His hand held hers naturally.

The two of them walked toward the stall together.

It was a small but lively shop with colorful magical decorations hanging around its wooden counter. A faint chill surrounded the place thanks to a simple cooling enchantment, making it particularly popular during the warmer months.

Behind the counter, the vendor greeted them with a smile.

"Two Ice Berry ice creams, please." Amon ordered.

The vendor quickly prepared their desserts.

A moment later, Amon and Seraphina were sitting together at a small table beside the stall, each holding a cone of cold Ice Berry ice cream.

Seraphina’s was a beautiful blue color, sparkling faintly under the sunlight.

Amon took a bite of his own and tasted it. ’Damn. That’s good.’

But after a moment, his attention shifted.

He looked at Seraphina.

She had begun eating her ice cream.

Her lips gently touched the cold dessert before her pink tongue briefly tasted the sweet cream in a gentle lick.

Amon stopped moving. His eyes remained fixed on her.

’...Why does everything she does look so cute? And also... alluring?’

He swallowed ice cream inside his mouth. Then swallowed again, his saliva this time.

For some reason, he suddenly became painfully aware of how close she was.

’I want to kiss her so badly!!’’I want to kiss her so badly!!’

Seraphina continued eating for a few seconds before she finally noticed his gaze.

She slowly looked up, their eyes met.

Amon froze as she looked at him.

Seraphina raised an eyebrow. "Don’t stare at me like you want to eat me."

Amon’s face immediately turned red. "W-What?!"

She calmly took another bite of her ice cream. "Eat your ice cream."

Amon stared at her for a moment. Then he quickly looked down at his own ice cream.

"Y-Yeah."

He nodded several times.

"Of course."

He immediately began eating his ice cream, trying his best to hide his embarrassment.

Seraphina watched him for a few seconds. hen she covered her mouth and chuckled.

"Hehe."

Amon pretended not to hear her.

’Damn it.She noticed.’

He continued eating his ice cream while Seraphina happily enjoyed hers beside him.

Despite his embarrassment, Amon couldn’t help smiling.’This is nice.’

There were no interruptions. Just him, Seraphina, and a peaceful afternoon together.

And honestly that was more than enough for him.

As they continued eating, Amon suddenly noticed something on Seraphina’s face.

His eyes lingered for a moment. A mischievous smile slowly spread across his lips. Without saying anything, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his pager.

Click!

The sound made Seraphina pause. She looked up from her ice cream, her golden eyes narrowing slightly.

"Hey! Why are you taking my picture?"

Amon looked at the screen with satisfaction. "Hehe~ How could I not capture such a cute moment?"

Seraphina blinked. "Cute moment?"

She instinctively touched her face, wondering if there was something wrong with it.

Then Amon put the pager away and slipped it back into the pocket of his pants.

Before Seraphina could ask anything else, Amon leaned slightly toward her.

"Hold still."

"Huh?"

Seraphina barely had time to react before Amon extended his hand.

His index finger gently brushed across her upper lip, wiping away the thin layer of blue Ice Berry cream that had gathered there.

Seraphina’s eyes widened. Her entire body froze.

"A-Amon..."

He simply looked at the cream on his fingertip. Then, without a second thought, he licked it from his finger.

"Hm~" He smiled. "This cream looks pretty cute on you."

Seraphina’s face immediately turned bright red.

Amon casually continued, "Anyway, I cleaned it for you."

Seraphina could only stare at him. Her golden eyes were wide, her cheeks burning, and her lips slightly parted in disbelief.

She could still feel the faint touch of his finger against her lips.

Did he really just clean cream from her lip and lick it. In front of everyone?! Her heart began pounding faster.

She quickly lowered her gaze, desperately trying to hide her flushed face.

But the more she thought about what Amon had just done, the hotter her cheeks became.

Finally, she raised her head and glared at him, though there was far more embarrassment than anger in her expression.

"You-you..."

Her voice trembled slightly.

Amon tilted his head innocently.

"Yes?" Seraphina’s cheeks puffed up as she struggled to find the right words. "You-you pervert!"

Amon blinked. Then he broke into a grin. Seraphina was known for aloof and indifferent face, not showing much emotions. But here with him, she shows so many expressions.

"Hehe~"

"Don’t laugh!" She turned her head away.
