THE SYSTEM IS NOT MINE
Chapter 124: End of Arc Two- The Path Forward
Yan's surroundings returned to the dense forest. The sun's rays were not as harsh as they had been before.
"Maa."
Standing a bit away from the symbol, the goat was chewing a few large leaves. It was gulping them down as if it had not eaten in years.
It ignored Yan, who had just returned from a journey through multiple locations.
Even though his injuries were severe, Yan's thoughts were focused on everything he had experienced.
Something out of this world.
Opposite him, Tsumi carried Yan's sword.
"Take this. You cherish it a lot, don't you?" She handed the sword over to Yan.
"You are a peculiar one."
"At first, I thought you would fail the first test of falling in unknown space."
"Well, if you had failed the first test, I would have just left you alone here."
"But you passed. The second one—your reaction to the sudden arrow was abnormal, and your perception in identifying the danger was as expected."
"The third test, you failed because you let her raise her hand. You should not have. You think I am unreasonable, but that's how I am."
"The fourth test, I wanted to see your combat ability, but you overcame my expectations. You actually fought him toe to toe. That's when I realized."
"You are a Cultivator of the Mind Letter, aren't you?"
Tsumi's voice was deep.
Yan took three steps back.
"Don't worry. If you think Space is my foundation letter just because I introduced myself as Space Witch, then you are wrong."
"My foundation letter is Mind as well. The Space Letter is my secondary letter, which I understood at Core Formation." Tsumi pointed her finger at the goat.
Then the goat stopped eating. It threw the leaves from its mouth and looked toward Yan. The goat opened its mouth.
"Well, you see, I have it."
"I rarely use it, simply because I love Space much more than Mind."
"However, what bugs me more is..."
The goat stared at Yan for a few seconds.
"Your existence is abnormal."
"No one should be able to have two foundation letters."

The goat kicked the ground with its right front leg.
"Well, it doesn't matter if you die early. I took a liking to you, though." The voice did not come through the goat but through Tsumi.
"Maa." Meanwhile, the goat returned to normal.
"I believe you are a suitable candidate to become my disciple."
"Would you like to learn Space?" Tsumi looked at Yan.
As soon as Tsumi spoke, Yan recalled all the earlier events: him appearing anywhere instantly, and Leo being unable even to move.
The Space Letter. It was mysterious, and so powerful. Yan thought what if he had Space, he could survive anywhere, at any moment.
"Yes," Yan's lips moved.
"Well, I will teach you, but before that, I have a task that you need to complete."
"Are you willing?" she asked.
"Yes," Yan replied.
"The Kingdom of Mia is seven times larger than the Kingdom of Noir. Half of the kingdom is ruled only by humans, while the other half is ruled by spiritual beasts. They live in dense forests."
"In the part of Mia ruled by humans, there is a city named Dust Fall City."
"It's a city where crime has run rampant. Gangs are everywhere, exploiting normal citizens."
"And only half of the city is under the control of gangs. The other half is ruled by ancient families."
"I come from an ancient family. Earlier, the gangs were under the control of the ancient families until he showed up."
"He established an arena and took control over all the gangs."
"Even with a figure like me among the ancient families, we could not do anything, as we are restricted by the Hegemon Pact."
"What's a Hegemon Pact?" Yan raised the question.
"Don't ask questions that you should not know, and don't interrupt me when I am talking." Tsumi said.
Then, in one moment, Yan felt the space all around him hardening. His chest tightened, his breath was trapped, and his body struggled against the pressure, trying to grasp for air.
And the next moment, the space returned to normal.
Yan gasped for air.
"The families sent various warriors at the Core Formation level over the years to put an end to him."
"But they failed."
"I will be sending you there."
"Kill him."
Tsumi kept talking despite Yan gasping for air. He looked at Tsumi, trying to know her better—what to speak and what not to.
Then Yan took a deep breath and thought deeply about how dangerous the mission was.
But there was something he desired, the Space Letter. It would not only make him stronger but also give him a greater chance of survival.
He couldn't afford to pass up such an opportunity.
He clenched his fist.
"I will do it. I will kill him."
Listening to Yan, Tsumi's eyes narrowed. "You think very highly of yourself. Let me tell you, he can take down almost all Core Formation cultivators with a single move. And you are currently not yet at the Core Formation realm."
"I will kill him regardless. I want to learn Space," Yan replied.
"Ha... ha... Nothing less expected from the person I took a liking to." Tsumi came closer. She reached her hand out and touched the pendant on Yan's neck.
"I have inscribed a one-time teleportation formation in your pendant." She pulled her hand back.
"Remember, you can use it only once, wherever you might be. It will lead you to me."
"You just have to touch the pendant and say my name three times for activation. You had better do it after you defeat the Arena Master of Dust Fall City."
"Otherwise, I will not take you as a disciple even if you transport to me."
"Also, once you do that, you have to bid farewell to the kingdoms for hundreds of years, probably. Space is not something that can easily be grasped," Tsumi said.
Then Yan noticed his clothes suddenly changed out of nowhere. The bloody clothes were replaced with clean sand-colored robes.
Yan touched his clothes all over and looked down. They had pockets, and one of the pockets was not empty.
A bottle of strong brown-colored healing potion was lying there.
Then Yan glanced up at Tsumi.
"That's my gift," Tsumi said.
Then the surroundings around Yan began to blur. The blurriness increased.
"Just a suggestion: the ground can absorb," Tsumi said.
"Maa," the goat shouted.
Tsumi looked at the goat. "I forgot you are here as well."
The goat then disappeared from the sides and appeared next to Yan.
"Take your companion along," Tsumi said.
Then Yan noticed the surroundings turn completely blurry and then begin to clear up.
