"Previously, they were Chinese nationals in France, then Constantine Stewart married, settled in the Imperial City, and changed his nationality back. What were they thinking? Back then they immigrated to France, now they’ve returned, hahaha."

Yeats Howard’s mouth was dry from talking so much as he explained the background of Constantine Stewart to the two of them. Ten minutes later, Ah Dan exclaimed, "Wow, this is exactly the kind of success Marcus Quinn and I are striving for!"

The connections of Constantine Stewart are incredibly strong. In France, he has the mother of Countess Thompson, and in the Imperial City, he has the matriarch of the Shaw Family, incredible, incredible.

"Is he easy to invite?" Ah Dan asked anxiously.

"I’m not familiar with Constantine Stewart, just a nodding acquaintance, but I’m well-acquainted with the Shaw Family. I can ask Leah Squire to reach out to Constantine Stewart, and even if he’s in France, he’ll have to show face. Leave it to me," Yeats Howard declared confidently.

Marcus Quinn hung up the phone, and the couple felt they owed a significant favor.

They enlisted the two most influential families in the Imperial City to connect with this Mr. Stewart.

Fortunately, Yeats Howard was reliable. Due to previous events, the Shaw Family had been grateful to Marcus Quinn. Knowing it was a small matter, it wasn’t convenient for both the Shaws and the Howards to intervene personally, so Leah Squire made a phone call to Constantine Stewart.

Constantine Stewart had been in the Imperial City recently. When he received the call, his graceful expression turned speechless.

Did he become a dedicated problem solver like a modern-day Lei Feng? Just a little matter of a restaurant worth tens of millions, and the Shaw Family made a special call to him?

"Hmm, I’ll go over there. If they don’t agree, I’ll just buy out the Imperial City Hotel," Mr. Stewart said with a wealthy smile, "It’s just a small matter."

Leah Squire: "..."

Even if you’re rich, you shouldn’t flaunt your wealth like this!

Meanwhile, Marcus Quinn brought Ah Dan in the car to the Fragrance Tower, where Lawyer Wei and Duncan Senior were already present. Additionally, De Uncle rushed over after receiving a call from Lawyer Wei.

De Uncle ordered the Fragrance Tower to close for the day, since there wasn’t much business anyway.

Seeing both the nominal boss and second boss present and having suspended operations, the staff huddled together muttering quietly, wondering if the restaurant was finally going to close down.

De Uncle was around Duncan Senior’s age, in his early fifties, although he appeared a bit older. He was humble in demeanor and dress, and upon seeing Marcus Quinn, he excitedly stood up, and with a trembling voice, he asked, "Are you Little Quinn? You’ve grown so tall! Where have these years gone?"

"De Uncle." Marcus Quinn smiled slightly, calling out when he saw that De Uncle still resembled his memory, albeit a bit older.

"Hey. Little Quinn, when did you come back to the Imperial City? Are you not leaving anymore?" De Uncle still hadn’t figured out what was happening; seeing Duncan Senior at the Fragrance Tower was like coming face to face with an enemy, coldly ignoring each other.

Common folks can’t fight officials, so De Uncle endured for over a decade. When Old Quinn passed away, Marcus Quinn was still a minor, and the Duncan Family wanted to take him back. He didn’t have the ground to refuse. Later, Marcus had no interest in business or culinary arts, joined the military academy, and virtually disappeared from the Imperial City for years, eventually losing contact.

De Uncle and the Duncan Family mutually disliked each other. Knowing Marcus had no interest in this, he gave up and held onto the remaining 20% of Fragrance Tower’s shares, preventing it from closing. This was the fruit of his and Old Quinn’s labors, even though it bled money year by year.

"Is this your wife?" De Uncle asked with a pleased smile when he saw Ah Dan.

Marcus Quinn nodded, while Ah Dan, having roughly learned about De Uncle, gracefully stepped forward to greet him, choosing to directly ignore Duncan Senior.

"Good, good, good," De Uncle replied, showing a fatherly smile of satisfaction. Marrying a wife was great; with a wife, there would be offspring, and Old Quinn’s culinary legacy would be carried forward.

"Mr. Quinn, I couldn’t schedule a meeting with Chief Administrator Fu from the Imperial City Hotel," Lawyer Wei stepped forward to say.

Off to the side, Duncan Senior sneered, watching their friendly interaction. Anyone would think they were father and son.

This ungrateful child doesn’t even acknowledge his father.

"That’s the Imperial City Hotel, a leader in the industry. Do you think you can casually book an appointment with someone like Chief Administrator Fu?" Duncan Senior remarked sarcastically. He had an agreement with the Imperial City Hotel that had two more years to expire, and he was still considering renting out the Fragrance Tower himself, unable to sell it but having ways to cash in, given its prime location and significant size in the Imperial City.

"Who is so important you can’t even schedule a meeting with them, hmm?" A man’s deep and sexy voice resonated.
