Chapter 2427 - 2327: Martin Can’t Target Nicholas Fuller—It’s Obvious Who’s Left

When Nathalie Quinlan stepped out from Regina Isadora’s villa, it was nearing dusk.

The remnants of the sunset painted a beautiful picture, as layers of fiery clouds rolled across the sky.

Amadeus Yancey had been waiting outside for her.

The glow of the sunset cast upon his beige trench coat, highlighting his reserved expression, as he toyed with the lighter in his hands, eyes lowered.

Just as Nathalie came out, he caught a glimpse of her with the corner of his eye and naturally put the lighter away, straightening up as he approached her: "How did the conversation go?"

"He’s an old fox." Nathalie shrugged, her demeanor relaxed, showing no emotion on her face: "I asked about his relationship with the K Organization. He only admitted that the K Organization had some ties to the Hidden Family, but he didn’t acknowledge having a hand in this incident."

Amadeus, however, noticed a fleeting frustration in her eyes, raising his eyebrows as he could basically guess how unproductive their conversation had been.

Nathalie didn’t seem concerned, walking over to the car and opening the door, tossing her single shoulder bag onto the seat, then turning back with a hint of defiance in her gaze: "But that’s not why I met him in the first place. Whether he admits it or not is irrelevant. I’ve already installed listening devices in his phone and computer, so I can remotely control his equipment from now on."

Amadeus moved to the driver’s seat, just opened the car door, and was momentarily taken aback hearing the casual tone she used to convey all this: "You..."

"I brought a computer inside," Nathalie preemptively said, as if knowing what he was about to ask: "Nowadays, with network and Bluetooth everywhere, I don’t need to manually operate. It just takes some time for Emma Gabehart to remotely operate through my computer and get it done."

Amadeus roughly understood the principle she was referring to, which was essentially Emma Gabehart remotely using her computer to hack into Regina Isadora’s computer and phone.

"You think there’s an issue with this Regina Isadora?" he asked, raising his eyes.

Nathalie spoke without much hesitation: "He definitely has issues! Nathan Garland couldn’t possibly engage someone like the K Organization, unless someone introduced them. This person’s identity must be quite significant, at least enough for the K Organization to owe them a favor. Besides someone from the Hidden Family, I can’t think of anyone else with this capability."

"Martin and Nicholas Fuller have been friends for years, Martin wouldn’t do something like this. It’s clear who the remaining person is."

Nathalie had already gotten into the car, pulled over the seatbelt, her gaze lowered, unable to hide the bloodthirst in her eyes: "As for him, he probably didn’t expect me to find his residence. When I went there, he acted very calm, as if he knew me."

Nathalie glanced at Amadeus, speaking slowly: "How does someone who’s just arrived in Inderia and never interacted with me before, know who I am?"

Amadeus also got into the car, shut the door, and with a knowing grin, continued the thought: "You’re saying he learned about you from Nathan Garland?"

"No." The girl sat casually, or rather like a boss, glancing at him sideways, her tone nonchalant: "He was targeting me!"

"Nathan Garland was just a pawn for him. He originally intended to use Nathan Garland to contact the K Organization to deal with me, who would’ve expected Nathan Garland to choose my teacher and mess up the plan..."

Nathalie didn’t explain why she was so certain but lowered her eyelashes, concealing her emotions in her eyes, letting out a cold chuckle: "He looked at me like a prey destined to die!"
