The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2506: There’s a Penthouse Above the Second-Floor VIP Section

  • Next Chapter

The waiter at the Honeybees Club led the two of them to a second-floor stand partitioned off with screens, then someone brought over two cups of coffee and a tray of exquisitely baked Western-style pastries, before quietly exiting the stand.

"Come sit."

Regina Isadora looked very familiar with the Honeybees Club. She pulled out a chair and sat down, then turned her head to call Zevaney Kingsley over.

Zevaney watched his every move, picked a seat near the edge of the stand just like him, and then looked down at the auction floor.

Her delicate face was fair with a faint flush, her dark eyes turned to the elder at her side as she lowered her voice: "Mr. Isadora, the people from that Hidden Family you mentioned..."

Earlier that evening Regina had deliberately mentioned, when bringing up tonight’s auction, that quite a few people from Hidden Families would be coming. But up to now she hadn’t seen anyone who even remotely looked like they were from a Hidden Family.

Regina calmly picked up a cup of coffee, stirring the sugar cubes inside with a silver spoon as she said, completely composed: "What are you so anxious about."

"I’m not anxious, I just..."

Regina didn’t wait for her to finish. She stopped what she was doing, slanted her gaze at her and said, "Besides the standard VIP area, the Honeybees Club also has private suites on the third floor. The people you’re dying to meet might be on the third floor. Of course, some of them might be here on the second floor with us as well."

Zevaney wasn’t stupid; she immediately realized that the area they were in wasn’t the Honeybees Club’s top circle yet.

The top circle of the Honeybees Club was right above their heads, where the separate suites were!

*

Right now, on the third floor.

Inside Suite 003, which Regina and Zevaney were longing for.

The waiter brought in three pots of Pre-Rain Longjing, all served with top-quality tea sets. The fragrance of the fresh tea filled the entire suite.

"Honored guests, this is your tea."

"Just put it over there."

Amadeus Yancey pointed, signaling him to place the tea on the table.

The Honeybees Club waiter immediately walked over respectfully, set the tea down steadily, then straightened up and asked, "If you need anything, you can press the service bell. We will provide the most comfortable service at once."

"Mm, you can go." Amadeus responded lazily, indicating that he could leave.

The waiters at the Honeybees Club deal year-round with clients who are all either rich or powerful; they’re all shrewd to the core.

With just a bit of observation he could tell that the guests in Suite 3 didn’t like noisy fuss, so he left neatly and closed the door behind him.

Sadam Vinson strode over on her own to pour herself a cup of tea. Staring at the auction floor below, she still hadn’t figured out just how high-end this club was. She gulped down a big mouthful of tea, wiped her mouth, and casually said, "Amadeus, you’re a VIP here too?"

This place looked pretty good.

Kind of like the places they often went to in Beijing.

Amadeus herself lounged back on the leather sofa, her posture relaxed and lazy. She looked over at the girl who’d been bored out of her mind since they came in, her voice low: "The auction will start in a few minutes. Do you guys want to play a round of a game?"

Sadam was bored out of her skull and immediately jumped at the suggestion, running over to Nathalie Quinlan with great enthusiasm: "Nathalie, want to play a round?"

"I’m not playing support." Nathalie just took out her phone, casually crossing her legs.

Sadam had long since become her little game lackey, and very tactfully said, "Of course you’re not playing support! I’ll be your dog—I’ll support you."

Nathalie made a noncommittal sound and opened the game: "Then I’ll play marksman."

Since they were only playing one round, Sadam didn’t bother calling the group she usually played well with. She just queued up duo with Nathalie and started a match.
